Hello, everyone,

I am Cynthia, I live in France, I have been watching Indian series and films for more than 10 years, and I have also been on IF for 10 years.

I started watching RadhaKrishn because I had enough of the other shows and the promotion charmed me.

I'm going to talk about the characters in the series, especially Radha, I'm not talking about the actors, I respect their acting and I like their chemistry.

Mallika applies what the writers ask her, at times I'd like her to do another facial expression, but well... She breathes innocence, I really like her game. With Sumedh, they're so cute.

Let's get started.

1) Radha is the most poorly made character in the series. I understand that it serves as a springboard for the lessons of love for which she and Krishna came to life on earth. But they always go to the extreme with her. Never in the middle. There's nothing human about this.

She is capricious, naive, angry and indiscriminate. She has a spirit of conservation and preservation in her.

2) Krishna, I understand that he must make mysteries, but here again the riddles he makes us are too right. He says you have to see to understand. But I find that it is he who often leads Radha in his extreme reactions and yet what he tries to do is to calm her down, it is anti-producer.

3) Balram is our voice in the series. He asks the questions that we often ask ourselves and that push Krishna to answer or to make more mystery. But his great weakness is anger. He doesn't think often and then help us, he only creates more trouble, like in the "moh" track...

4) Vrishbhan at first I really had a hard time with him... He's arrogant, he's proud... I don't doubt his friendship with Nand, but when it doesn't go his way, it's war. For the moment he seems to have no more worries about Krishna, let's see how long it lasts.

5) Nand, Yashoda and Kritika are the characters who follow the river of our heroes. Nand plays his role as a father in the middle, Yashoda the mother hen and Kritika tries to round off the angles.

6) Ayan and Jatila. Mother and son are plagues. Having then him, for a person says he loves... in fact what he wants is just possessed... Possess Radha so possess Barsana in the equation. Both are so harmful that seeing them irritates me so much! I don't know that Kans needed a transition, but Ayan is just impossible.

7) Kans, I think I prefer him from all the bad guys... In fact he just wants to live, except he doesn't notice that he sweats badness... He's arrogant, he thinks everything belongs to him, for the moment there's really nothing to say...

8) Rohini, Deviki and Vasudev are ghost characters...they are useful when necessary otherwise we forget them...

From what I understand, Radha, a Goddess is cursed and eventually born on earth without her memories, she will forget Krishna and be separated for 100 years (At first I thought the separation would be the time for her to come to life on earth, so when she was born, the 100 years would already have passed, after all she says "the sooner she left, the sooner she will come back". On the other hand Krishna kept saying "that he could have waited another 100 years" so I have doubts... if anyone can enlighten me).

Radha a goddess, has lost her divine identity, is in a human body, so all the defects that affect humans are attributed to her. I'm not against it, it can be very interesting if it's well exploited.

We start with fear. At first, I thought to myself why fear. Then I finally understood if we take it the other way around. But here's what caused the most concern was that Krishna made Radha think he was going to steal Barsana. I really didn't see the point. It didn't make sense. Then we had an anti-love Radha. 0 understanding, it was more than irritating. His reactions had no justification. How can fear be part of the equation? After Krishna said "that she was afraid so that's why she didn't recognize him" even then I was septic.

Sudevi's marriage was the worst part. We were treated to a whimsical Radha. She tried to give moral lessons, but on the other hand we show that what she said, she didn't apply it... And she came to tell Krishna to leave. That was the worst part. She was screaming, she was talking about herself. She didn't let Krishna explain herself once! We see Krishna looking at her with love, he is sad, he tries to reason with her, but it doesn't even reach her once. Then comes the creation of Vridavan... I really liked what happened. And I came to think that if Radha reacts in this way, it's called "the spirit of preservation", so when she doesn't want to face it, she either gets scared, runs away or passes out. This is normal, it happens to us too, when we don't want to believe in something, our brains close. She's been acting up again for the contest, Krishna has only one wish to be near her. But he too doesn't help at every opportunity he does something that will push her in the other direction.

After the bull. We see their fusion when he manages to stop the bull, then he tries to explain to her that they are indirectly connected, but once again Radha's preservation brain takes over and thinks Krishna is only doing this to sit with her on the swing.

The end of this fear comes. We show that Radha can think for herself and that she is not that stupid. So she apologizes, but on the other hand we always keep the fact that she thinks Krishna doesn't like her, it was a game. (I understand it was too early), so if she overcame the fear, we shouldn't see her with that defect anymore, should we?

We start with the attraction, this part I think the only part I liked is the Raas Leela.

The rest with Jatila plotting, Vishaka who is not a good friend who is in the bad guys' camp for money. Ayan who is more than irritating. It was tiring!

Then comes Vrishbhan... so he, how he pissed me off. I can't stand this kind of behavior. As Krishna said at Sweden's wedding, that's what Vrishbhan does, he believes because he gave birth to Radha, he has all the rights. He's arrogant and proud, he's not a father who's afraid his daughter will end up with a broken heart!

So when Krishna says she doesn't like Radha as she does, I was more than relieving her of the end.

But here we have the proud and indiscriminate Radha. She thinks of the humiliation her father suffered and not why Krishna reacted in this way. When he tries to make her understand, it's okay, we move on to anger and hatred!

The best part so far is "anger", we see the degree that anger can take. It can destroy a life, it prevents a person from being rational. We see Krishna patient, we see that he is ready for this sacrifice if that is what his beloved wants. Radha and Krishna each in their own right. One who felt betrayed and filled with anger against the other who just wants to be understood. Then comes finally the understanding is born.

Second part I didn't like. Jealousy. They made a mixture of jealousy that was misused. Krishna only played with Radha, I have no other word. To overcome insecurity, we do not increase it! Although he tells Radha that he loves Chandra as a friend and that Radha is his Premeka, I was not convinced like Radha. It is not so easy to say "prem" even in friendship. Then we see the irritating and naive Radha again. She falls too easily into the traps of the bad guys. Again, I find this to be a more than bad point. No middle ground... So Shiva comes to mediate, and even then, Krishna does riddles, he doesn't say things clearly... So Radha does the unthinkable and it took once again a drawing for her to take her courage to tell the truth... So we find her the lover who sees roses everywhere and doesn't look around her and we leave for a new defect...

Arrogance... So really between Ayan who is really a character who is just irritating. The part that struck me the most was when Radha went to Kans' house ///// Krishna reminds us who Radha is, so he has no doubt that she will emerge as the winner of this meeting. And we see the appearance of the Goddess, and once again it is in Radha's unconsciousness. I understand and agree. But on the other hand, we never see Radha question herself for a second, we can do it and stay in her arrogance, Krishna had to sacrifice herself once again for her to wake up... But in all this, never was the truth about Ayan and Jatila punished.

For Holi, Krishna told Ayan how he can take what is already his... The lyrics were two-way. Every time he defends his love for Radha, personally I see it in the "romantic" and not "spiritual" sense, it comes back to the part when he told Radha that he won't let her get married (he didn't know yet who Vyomesh was, I'm 100% sure, because his reaction when he felt the magic was very telling) so again the CV's would have to be subtle in their dialogue. Besides Ayan as a villain, how can we end up making him Radha's husband? That will never happen!

Finally, at the moment, I don't know what they're getting at... Radha hasn't evolved since the end of her 5 defects. We still see insecurity and fear in her.

Wanting to look like another person happens, so yes I understand that Krishna wanted to make her understand that to love her, did not mean to erase herself for that, but I do not understand where they are coming from with the fact of making the love of the earth disappear. Krishna has pointed this out several times. No matter what happens to Radha, she will always complete it, I think that's why we have this promotion.

We should have seen Radha evolve towards her divinity, she's supposed to be halfway there, right? The small obstacles should have been life's obstacles, things that can be overcome without drama, of course I understand that Ayan and Kans cannot be left in their corner, but I am irritated by the fact that they are doing something impossible no matter what the situation.

Here I have emptied my bag...lol...

Love, Cynthia :)

Bravo girl you have really summed or rather explained every nuance well. I have the same issue with almost all characters. I wish the writers read this post.

That's why I had mentioned before that I am failing to understand their perception of what they really want us to take away so far. That God fails to remove things if one is adamant?? If that is the take away then they are succeeding I must say.

I wish the writers really start thinking on their story line. I know this is not going to happen. But hope is something we all have till the end. I am sure they know what they are doing. Atleast I hope they do. And they adjust to atleast start showing character progression in radha.

I also hope so because Radha is still the main point of the series. It's RADHAKrishn, so if Radha doesn't evolve, the series doesn't have to continue.

Krishna will continue to save her, but she will do the same stupid things over and over again.

What still bothers me the most is that Kans had warned Jatila if she didn't succeed, he was going to report her, except they failed and he did nothing. On the contrary, Shiva was asked for a solution to kill Krishna...

I'll be patient and wait until next week. I am not yet angry with them, I have known worse, I want to see what they want to do with this disappearance of love on earth before shouting.

But one thing is for sure, it's really necessary for Radha to take two steps forward, she really has to learn to think, I don't mind that at first she can't understand Krishna's speeches at the beginning of her flaws, but we have to see her really think about it and not think about it quickly and end up throwing it all away like nothing ever happened.

Today's episode was really not good. Krishna didn't have the right reactions, I was disappointed.
