No Balram today. A little rest after two weeks of overloading for him.

Hi people!

Oh boy, we've been getting a lot of Balram lately! ⭐️ His hosting of the couple competition last week was lovely, and his expressions and reactions of disbelief when Krishna and Radha gave wrong answers was epic! And the earlier part when he was trying to work and everyone kept asking him questions was so cute and funny! 😊

Balram's excitement about Krishna wanting to marry Radha is very sweet but I think the CVs are overdoing it! The part when Krishna heard Balram's disembodied voice say "Chutki bajaao, Kanha!" followed by Krishna thinking "Dau ki awaaz kyu sunai de rahi hain" was hilarious, 🤣 but they really need to cut down on Balram following them around and peaking out from behind things!

And the part near their house when Balram wanted to tell Yashoda everything was so cute and funny, but the CVs lost a golden opportunity for a Sheshnaag-related joke! 😔 When Balram asked Krishna what excuse he should use now that he had raised the whole house on his head, this would have been the perfect time for Krishna to say something about Balram in Sheshnaag form already having/supporting the whole world on his head and so why should he (Balram) now be panicking over one extra little house! But alas, missed opportunities! It looks like the CVs conveniently forgot the Sheshnaag connection in that moment, in their rush to make Balram the recipient of Yashoda's punishment!

I get that they're trying to be funny but it was a bit weird that Balram couldn't/didn't hear Radha-Krishna's actual conversation and just assumed what he did. This is another time when they've conveniently forgotten that he is divine and not had his divine vision/hearing in operation. I know the CVs are doing it for comic effect but they have a fine line to tread between being actually funny, and being just plain silly and doing unnecessary things by flip-flopping all over the place!

Balram's conversation with Radha after that was nice, but his assumptions and impatience in the name of the CVs weird humour is stretching a bit thin! They really need to stop stretching this out and having Balram be the recipient of mum's ire for no actual good reason - first with Rohini actually hitting him and now with Yashoda being annoyed by his untimely announcements! I'm glad she just chased him rather than actually hitting him, but please give us some nice Balram-mum moments (and with Rohini back also, please) instead of just this. I wouldn't be surprised if someone actually reported the show for depicting child abuse if they keep having Balram beaten/punished by either of the mums! 🤣

Another thing I like recently is that they've toned down the Jatila-Ayan angle and have actually remembered that Kans is the main villain here! Good to see Devki and Vasudev back as well, and Kans finally getting some punishment for his evil deeds! 👏

And the biggest thing of recent times: Krishna for the first time actually said that Kans would be punished for horribly mistreating his parents and several others, etc etc. FINALLY, an acknowledgement of Devki and Vasudev as his parents! 👏 And no mention of Kans needing to be punished just for attacking Radha, like they've done umpteen times before! Thank you, CVs, for finally getting back on track here! Kans's punishment has been great so far and I'm looking forward to more of it. I wonder what will happen if/when Kans realises that Balram is also a huge threat along with Krishna - we might possibly still get to see Pralambasur and Dhenukasur.

Basant has been absolutely fabulous, as always, with what he has been given to do. He has embodied Balram's sheer joy so very well! I'm glad we're getting to see more of him lately but it would also be great if they keep giving him something more substantial to do rather than essentially being a "peeping Tom" and the butt of jokes! If anyone can handle a more substantial role, it is definitely Basant! ⭐️

It's been a while since Rohini we haven't seen her.

But you're right, Balram is in the role of the king's clown. He is certainly a pillar for our divine couple otherwise he does not do much.

Let's see if he gets his share too. I think he should have killed monsters by now since Jatila and Ayan know that Balram is stuck to Krishna it goes back to when Jatila told Ayan to be friends with Krishna it was in the "irsha" track except it wasn't very far...

Anyway finals ended Last week friday and I spent the weekend catching up on sleep and RK. I know whats going on👍🏼. But I couldnt come online as my computer was acting up just got it working.

But yes there has been some great episodes for Radha Krishn and KaRam and even Balram on his own. Everything was great.

Okay but I will be listing below two problems I have related to the way CVs are handing Ballu. *sigh* lets begin

First off, MAIYA YASHODA WOULD NOT BEAT BALRAM. Like that was very clear (right? or was that only me) she loves Balram as her own and would always come to his defense. Yes she does ot to Krishn but she loves her Bal and wouldnt run after him with a stick. Ear pulling ya thats fine it kinda cute too but....seriously what CVs does for laughs sometimes. Just because Rohini is not here Yashoda has to do that

Second off, this kind of goes for both Kanha and Balram, CVs forgets their powers sometimes. Like when the plot needs it Kanha is confused and doesnt know anything and for Balram he can hear stuff miles away but just for the PLOT he couldnt here something happening just feet away. (x1000) This really annoyed me.

CVs does not know consistency. I know I shouldnt expect anything from them but GEEZ sometimes it is needed. I am fine when Rohini runs after Balram but it is just not Yashoda's personality (This is the biggest thing that bothered me). I am even fine when his powers dont function the same but when it is used to just get him beaten then that is too much. Basant's comic timing on his own is fine. I dont think we need to always see him being beaten up to laugh. It was funny the first time (sure i guess).

Lol sorry for the rant 😳. But that was the things that bothered me. And since I just watched that episode yesterday it is fresh on my mind so I let it all out.

Other than that I really did enjoy the show.

@bold 10/10 I loved that part too 🤣. It was the best and my favorite watched it a couple times too many

@underlined I did not even notice that now that you mentioned it I would have also liked to see that as well. But you are right just for a punishment they did not (I already wrote about my feelings towards that I wont start here again😃)

@blue CVs does not realize they have gems and instead of using their perfect comic timing they think we want to see Balram being constantly chased or beaten by this mum. Again I say Yashoda would not do that to Balram she always defends him but CVs is forgetful so what can we do.

@rusty red (idk this color) but ya this has been the only good thing but he will be going back to his evil ways soon.

@green I have lost all faith in Balram getting acknowledged by Kans or getting a chance at an asur. No more Badhas so no point in sending any more asurs cuz Kans is planing Radha-Ayan wedding. Does any one other than KaRam know that Devaki's 7th son is alive????? Like maybe Rohini knows but she is currently missing w/o explanation so...does anyone know? Cuz if so Kans would have panicked about Balram too. But now it is too late it seems.

I dont know as much as I want an asur for Balram I do not see it happening. They can at least give us Dhenukasur like that was a Krishna-Balram team up killing. Balram killed the leader (Dhenukasur) then when all his little minions attacked Krishna and Balram killed them together. It would be nice to see our KaRam kick some badly made CGi donkeys🤣 Whatever it may be we got a taste of their team up when Balram shielded Kanha now I want a full powered butt kicking.

There I go with building up my hopes (I need to stop). But ya just my thoughts on what you said. 😃

totally agree with both of your points.... already talked about the beating up issue... its not practical also, kaun itne bade bete ko maarta hai 🤓jabki chhoto ko barabar izzat milti hai...

also about the inconsistency in stalking skills 😆sometimes they are able to see and hear radha from kilometers away... let us remember this divine power of balram is limited to stalking radha only... he never sees kans plotting and goes to kanha to inquire about the same.
