A beautiful description of Shri Radhe --

The love of the gopīs for Kṛṣṇa is full of transcendental ecstasy. It appears to be a brilliant jewel, and enlightened by such a transcendental jewel, Rādhārāṇī’s body is further perfumed and decorated with kuṅkuma. In the morning Her body is bathed in the nectar of compassion, in the afternoon in the nectar of youth, and in the evening in the nectar of luster itself. In this way the bathing is performed, and Her body becomes as brilliant as the cintāmaṇi jewel. She is dressed in various kinds of silken garments, one of which is Her natural shyness. “Her beauty is more and more enhanced, being decorated with the red kuṅkuma of beauty itself and the blackish musk of conjugal love. Thus Her body is decorated with different colors. Her ornaments embody the natural symptoms of ecstasy—trembling, tears, jubilation, stunning, perspiration, faltering of the voice, bodily redness, madness and dullness. In this way Her entire body is bedecked with these nine different jewels. Over and above this, the beauty of Her body is enhanced by Her transcendental qualities, which constitute the flower garland hanging on Her body. The ecstasy of love for Kṛṣṇa is known as dhīrā and adhīrā, sober and restless. Such ecstasy constitutes the covering of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī’s body, and it is adorned by camphor. Her transcendental anger toward Kṛṣṇa is embodied as the arrangement of the hair on Her head, and the tilaka of Her great fortune shines on Her beautiful forehead. Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī’s earrings are the holy names of Kṛṣṇa, as well as the hearing of His name and fame. Her lips are always reddish due to the betel nut of ecstatic affection for Kṛṣṇa. The black ointment around Her eyes is Her tricky behavior with Kṛṣṇa brought about by love. Her joking with Kṛṣṇa and gentle smiling constitute the camphor with which She is perfumed... Ahha ... Radha and her beauty ...Her emotions were not easily hidden on her innocent face. Her pain was evident in the crease of her lovely brow and the down-curve of her full lips. But her eyes, her eyes showed her soul. They were a deep pool of restless feelings, an ocean of hopeless grief! As I looked into her eyes I knew, all the beauty of the universe could not even hope to compete with this simple thing, her passion. Passion turned her eyes into orbs of the brightest fire, and in them I read clearly that she would fight to the very last tear of her life. She would not let the world break her. Sure she could cry, but she would never let them take her true self from her. She clung to it with passion. The passion that made her more beautiful. So beautiful it was like the stars themselves, decided to rest behind the soft cushion of her eyelids!! Something radiated from within that rendered her irresistible to both genders. Krishna desired her and cowherd women courted her friendship! If the gods are real, I told myself ... then this Radha must be a masterpiece amongst all the Goddesses Gayatri! .

And indeed she was irresistible to both the genders. Such was her grace, her aura, her karma, and her devotion towards Sri Krishna:)

Shiv shakti se hi purn hai

Shakti ke woh sindur hain

Gauri ke Gaurav ke Liye

Jo Ho Rahe Abb Dur hain

Koyi thod na hai ab chah ka

Nahi mol hai maan ke moh ka

Shiv Jaane kya hai Kaali Ka

Astitva Aadi Shakti ka

Vichalith kare na bhavna

Nahi de sake koi santwana

Niyati hai bandhan se pare

Jo rach diya so woh kare

This is such a true and a debatable statement as well :)

Jo bhagwan ne rach diya usse woh bhi nahin badal sakte par ek true devotee mein itni shakti kai ki bhagwan uss rachna ka taap kum kar sakte hain ya uske sath khade rehte hain taki woh bhi taap sah sake :)

Translating this first for Cynthia :)

So this short verse is on Shiva and his Shakti who is also called Sati, Gauri, Parvati, Kali and so on. This verse is of that time when she was about to visit her father dakshya who was conducting a yagna and did not invite her and lord Shiva. She is Sati in this time.

She is bidding farewell to Shiva as he does not want to go to an uninvited pooja. He had made numerous attempts to stop her but she did not listen. He knew the outcome of this visit.

The verse goes like this ... am not doing a literal translation.

Shiv is complete only with his Shakti

Shiv is Shakti's sindoor

For his gauri's prestige he is now going away from her (the implication here is that he is not accompanying her to that pooja)

There is no medicine for this love and there is no price or value for the heart's desire or moh

Shiv ji knows who kaalika is and that she is the truth of his existence

Now there is no bhav that disturbs me and nothing can give me any assurance

Fate is not attached to any emotions as it's her work to carry out what is already written by destiny or the Supreme Lord :)

The last two lines is what I wanted mainly to bring attention to. The one where fate and destiny are spoken.
