Agree with you Radhi , there was a healthy competition between Chandra and Radha , they were not only good lovers of Krishna , but they were also good friends too! Here , the CVs made Radha a jealous lover rather than a good friend. Even though some character description is given, she seems to be there only to provide background, acting merely as a necessary contrast where she is always supposed to lose for Radha's sake !Chandra here specifically playing the role of Radha's chief rival. Their difference is more than just superficial, there are distinct differences between the two in their approach to getting Krishna's attention. Candra's approach towards love is very simple it seems. But Radha's love is from another realm. While defining the difference the cvs did a big mistake by making Radha dumber and even accusing her Krishna to get him back !

Agree with you Gayatri. Chandra was not only Radha's competitor to get Krishna's attention, but she was Radha's friend also. Here it is different, in the actual story, there was n't jealousy, even if it is there, it was momentary, not like rivalry type. Butchering the pious and good characters is CVs way of moving the story forward. If they use that rivalry for reveling with their Krishna in a teasing and playful way, how nice it will be ?!!Originally posted by: RainFire125

That is my Radha ! She was not only Krishna's Sakhi , but she was also his teacher who prepared Krishna as a future preacher to mankind! She never behaved such a childish way!Originally posted by: RainFire125
Very very true and this will also show that subtle difference between Chandra and radhe .. after all radhe did posses some qualities that are like pious than anyone. That is why she topped as Krishna's lover ... even if we keep aside the fact that she is the power of the powerful Krishna:)
