@Antara123 :
Losses - the parent company of Zee actually is making losses. Essel or something. They are pretty much neck deep in debt and were liquidating their assets a couple of years ago to reduce their interest burden. So their position isn't that great. --- this gives me immense pleasure. 😝 Also explains why they teamed up with Alt all of a sudden. Interesting fact. I haven't gone through Zee not will. Zee will never be subscribed by me until Karan asks me to while doing a daily 😏
Yeah, I find the first part of whatever you wrote apt - that's the whole point is what I am trying to say. That's why they are bringing back the same names and characters and the name of the show. The same story with a new name and new characters and actors would be much harder to promote. --- full points. 😀
But that's the point isn't it? Return on investment is very high if you are bringing back a hit show - coz a large part of the audience is going to just come back without promotion. And new fans who also watch - is a bonus. So it seems like a very good deal to me. 😂 As a business, I'd totally do that. -- here this is a catch, unless people get reviews or the show is controversial 99% of the webseries watcher do not watch. So post reviews and promotions matters most. And if you follow all the webseries get extended one week proper Promotion after release. Reviews / being Internet sensation are why people watch webseries or else itne aye aur itne gaye naam tak nahi pata. 😅 be it with bollywood actors or tv actors. +18 content too matters. Just citing an example, today Mirzapur is a sensation, all these years hardly anyone knew about it until it was made into memes and review sites posted about it. Mention of memes here, last webseries of Ksg that was released during Lockdown, a massive amount of memes were made on two particular pics - that contributed to online promotions and yep knowing a few accounts personally they were Paid Promotions like any other releases.. Even these meme pages promote shows and that makes them a sensation.
I don't understand this VPN shit. What is this? VPN is a Virtual Private Network - basically to watch the shows without subscriptions or whatever. Like if a Netflix show isn't available on Netflix India you can use a VPN to access Netflix US shows. But idk how legal that is and all. -- a little correction here, VPN allows you to access websites or apps that is banned by your country or isn't available for your country. You anyway have to pay for the services.
Anyhow. I still feel you are somehow going green coz Zee is making money so easily. 😂😂😂 -- I always will be. Post release others too who are very pleased with Zee will also feel exactly the same ha ha. Though I don't think anyone is. But yea.😝
Okay, if it comes out on 9th. Then it's fine bro. Two more days to go. -- it should be. It must be. Rest I am not sure.
