"To my Zoe" Asad blurted. Ayaan was more than shock he was about to go in but decided to confirm what he heard was correct or not. He stood outside eavesdropping. Asad who was not at all paying attention to Haider was about to stop him but when Haider said committed he suddenly saw an image of himself promising to a girl that he will always be by her side like her shadow and no one will be able to part them. That's when he blurted out of confusion that he is committed. When he was about to correct his statement that is when he clearly heard himself calling to the girl and saying that I will always be at your side ZOE at which the girl replied with her dimpled smile me too Asad. For Haider Asad confessed but for Asad he just voiced his confusion. Before Haider could question him further Asad left lost in thoughts. Asad saw Ayaan about to enter the cabin he said " Ayaan can you bring my laptop home. It is already 6:00 I m leaving." Before Ayaan could ask or say something Asad left.
Zoya came out of her room and searched Sehar everywhere but did not found her. She heard someone laughing. She followed the sound that was coming from the terrace. Sehar was laughing aloud while talking to someone. She stood behind her and the sight she saw brought a smile on her face. Dilshad and Razia both were also laughing as Najma and Humeira were mimicking like Asad and Ayaan. Razia saw Zoya on the screen and her face was lightened up with a smile. Sehar also saw Zoya behind her. She was about to greet her but suddenly she remembered her fake anger and looked away. Where as Dilshad, Najma and Humeira were smiling seeing Zoya. "Hellooo everyone. H r u??" Said Zoya in her chirpy way. "Hum Sab tu thik hai. Tum kaisi hu?? Or mujhe aisa kyun lag raha kai that you did something wrong and that is why Sehar is angry." Razia replied. "Mai kyu.." Zoya was about reply but Sehar cuts her in between and says " Mumani what are you saying?? Don't you know that Zoya Farooqi is never wrong??? You know that great Zoya Farooqi don't even knows how to fulfill the promises." Sehar replied, her voice full of sarcasm. "Ab tum nai kya kiya Zoya??" Dilshad said. "Zoya tu to gai. Ammi ya puphi Ku pata chala na kai tune kya kiya hai tu Teri tu lag gayi class." Zoya thought." Let me have this pleasure Zoya. Mumani and Khala what do you think that the person who is working till 4 in the morning from one week and then is going to office at 8 is normal. Nahi naa." Sehar said. Zoya closed her eyes and kept her hand on her eyes and said to herself "Get ready for the class Zoya." "Zoya I told you that don't you even dare to work till late. You promised me that you will not." Najma said." Najma I came home early yesterday you can ask Sehar also. Right Sehar??" Zoya said defending herself. "Yeah Najma 10 is early you know. Thanks a lot Zoya you came at 10." Sehar replied sarcastically. "Zoya how much careless you are. Wait huh just come in India I will teach you a lesson." Dilshad said. "Zoya bacha you should not work that much. You should take care of yourself which you are definitely not taking." Razia said with concern in her voice. "Zoya you promised me yesterday that you will come early but you didn't. You don't know how much worried I was worried about you??" Sehar said softly. "I am Sorry but what can I do It was important in fact really important for me to wrap the work." Zoya said. "OK now enough. Now no one will scold my Appi because I know that my appi never breaks her promise until there is a really important work. So no more scolding." Humeira said. "You proved it Humeira that you are my sister. By the way puphi I was not at all expecting all this from you. Let me return once than i will get my revenge from you all." Zoya said. "Mai breakfast ready karne ja rahi hu and Zoya no office work today . Plzzz." Sehar said. Zoya nodded. "Zoya beta packing kar li na???" " Allah Miya what's wrong with you Ammi?? Of course everything is done. Just a little shopping is left. Achaa haa puphi ap ki liye kya lao I mean ammi, abbu or dost ka tu mujhe pata hai but I want to know ke apke liye kya lao??" "Meri Zoya ko safely lai aana wohi kafi hai." Dilshad said. "Acha puphi ammi mai nashta karne ja rahi hu. Airport jaane sai pehle ap sai baat karo gi. Khuda Hafiz"
Humeira was looking confused. "Kya hua Humeira ??" Razia asked. "Ammi Appi chotti ammi ko puphi kyu bulati hain?? I mean she is not abbu's sister. So I am just confused" Humeira simply stated her confusion. Razia smile and said "For your father Dilshad is his sister. It is not important that there should be a blood relation to be a sibling. For your father Dilshad is more important than Rashid. Or sirf Zoya hi nahi Dilshad Ku puphi bulati balke tumhara" Razia was about to complete her sentence when she saw Asad coming. "Arre Asad you are back. Good go freshen up. I will send your coffee. OK?" Razia said. (For Razia Asad and the others are her own kids. Asad and other kids also love her like a mother.) "G badi ammi. By the way is there any news about your ladli. I am eagerly waiting to meet her. I will be here in 2 min. No need to send coffee in room I will enjoy my last coffee with my badi ammi pata nahi phir chance mile ya na mile. You know what I mean na?" He winked. Razia slapped his arm and left from there to make Asad's coffee. Whereas Asad moved towards his room the thoughts about his Zoe were gone away when he entered the house.
"Zoya tumhari flight 3:00 haina. Toh gifts itni jaldi kaisey lao GI??" Sehar said. "Sehar mera naam bhi Zoya Farooqi hai, tu kya hua kai list abhi receive ki hai. Guess naam ki bhi koi cheez hoti hai. Mujhe tu pata tha ke yehi list aani hai so Maine Helen ko kal hi..." Zoya left her sentence incomplete as she knew Sehar has already guessed. "Smart girl." Sehar said. "Woh tu mai hu". The door bell rang at which Zoya said "Here she is maine usko kaha tha kai yaha drop kar de. I will be here in 5 min." Zoya opened the door and as expected there was Helen with shopping bags. "Good morning Mam. You asked me to drop this stuff." Helen said. "Good morning. Thanks a lot. Come inside. Have breakfast with us." Zoya said. Helen came inside but politely refused to have breakfast. Zoya and Helen were sitting in TV lounge and were having coffee. "Mam the company with whom you contracted for the construction of your office in India wants to deal with us." Helen said. "Yeah sure I will contact them toda..." Zoya was about to say yes when she recalled her promise and Sehar's warning. "NO." She screamed. "I mean I will contact them once I reach India. Abhi tu hargiz nahi warna mai India jaane se pehle hi martyrs ki list mai enter hu jao gi... I don't want to die so soon." She mumbled the last two sentences but Helen heard the last part. She smiled. "I should leave. Thanks for the coffee Mam." Saying so she left.
As soon as Helen left Zoya picked the shopping bags and moved towards her room. When Zoya was packing Sehar entered with an intention to help her and spend time with her. "Asad ke liye kya liya???" Sehar asked. "You know very well that he don't want any type of gift." Zoya replied. "You know what Zoya sometimes I am not able to understand why Asad said that he is not going to talk or see you. I mean it is childish. If I be honest its so so so so much childish" (Juhi your Q. is here..) "Allah Miya how come I know?? But isn't it good that the great Asad Ahmed Khan be childish for once. You know he said that to me before also." Zoya replied honestly. "Zoya can I ask you something?" Sehar said seriously. Zoya looked at her shocked. She kept her hand on her for head. "Fever tu nahi hai." She pinched herself. "It is not a dream even. Ya Allah Sehar tum kab sai permission lai kar baat karna shuru hogai. Allah Miya thank you but mujhe apni purani Sehar wapis chahiye. Please." Zoya said. Sehar was seeing her antics and she giggled. "Ok ...fine. Ask whatever you wanna ask." "Zoya you didn't communicated with Asad for five years. Do you think Asad still think of youh as a friend??" Zoya was silent. She recalled what answer Asad gave her once when she asked him.
Flashback: (So all of your guesses were right it is indeed a flashback.)
"Zoe a strong friendship doesn't need daily conversation, doesn't always need togetherness, as long as the relationship lives in the heart, True friends will never part. And you are not only my true friend but my bestie", Said Asad to Zoya.
"Asad what will you do to that person who will hurt me?" Asked Zoya innocently.
"I will say she is my Best friend break her heart and I will break your Face and Zoe I swear i will do that. If someone tried to hurt you I will kill that person. I can't see tears in your eyes." Said Asad in a deadly serious voice.
Dilshad who was hearing their conversation smiled and said "Yeah for sure he will break every bone of that person who will hurt you Zoya."
Flashback ends.
"Sehar a strong friendship doesn't need daily conversation, doesn't always need togetherness, as long as the relationship lives in the heart, True friends will never part.", replied Zoya.

"Gaffur I am so tensed. What if the past..." Razia said.
"No. Nothing will happen to my daughter. And they don't even know thathat she is returning." Gaffur said.
"I agree with bhaijaan but still what if they came to know that she is returning??" Said an extremely tensed Dilshad.
