Chapter 6

Next day Asad and Ayaan entered the office in their usual time, Asad directly stormed towards his cabin expecting to be greeted by the yesterday sight but then got disappointed seeing it empty, unlike yesterday.

Asad thinking, "she didn't come till now it's already 10! Wait a minute? Out of all the important pending work over her, I'm worried why some employee didn't report yet! Why am I behaving so strange these days? On a second thought, there is nothing strange about it..its just that I'm worried about the discipline even this is my responsibility to look after it, after all, it's an organization and I should make sure all the protocols are followed by everyone...yeah, everything is normal like before, I'm just possessive about work nothing else" convincing himself he took a file from the desk and took its seat.

Rohan came to his cabin with some files

Rohan: sir, your signature is needed in these documents for approval so that the construction work of all these projects can start

Asad nodded and went through all the documents, he gave the files back to Rohan after signing it.

Asad: Rohan there were three more projects right..I didn't find that any documents related to it(sternly)I don't want any delay in that

Rohan: don't worry sir there won't be any delay, actually yesterday only those project reports were ready but you were busy with back to back meetings so Ayaan sir approved it and the construction has already started.

Asad: good that you took approval from Ayaan. We will be done with that project before the set duration

Rohan: well sir it was Tanveer who did it as she didn't want to disturb you

Asad: she is good when it comes to work...anyway you make sure to commence with this construction today itself

Rohan was about to leave when Asad called him.

Asad(unable to hold it more): Rohan you know I can't tolerate unpunctual behaviour especially when it comes to DC, then why is that architect whatever is her name(as if he don't remember) didn't report yet

Rohan(confusingly): but sir, Zoya already reported on time

Asad: whaa, but I ordered her to work here right?

Rohan: sir but I arranged the drawing board and drafter as said by you...so..

Asad: fine! Get back to your work

Asad sighed and continued his work thinking" idiot! Why he always have to take my words seriously, can't he understands. Excuse me Mr khan? You are the actual idiot, not him, What you expect him to understand when yourself is not understanding the reason behind your funny behaviour"

Here Zoya was working in her cubic when she saw Ayaan and Asad entering the premises, a small smile formed on her lips seeing them where Asad directly rushed towards his cabin ignoring everyone and Ayaan calmly greeted everyone and went to his cabin.

Zoya thinking"seems like he has some important work to complete that's why desperately ran to his cabin...Allah Miya! What's wrong with you Zoya till yesterday you were planning to stay away from him now you are disappointed that he went without even glancing at you! (then convincing herself like Asad)well, I'm not disappointed it's just that I wanted to thank him for for...for what? Yeah for all these arrangements(looking at the drawing board and other accessories arranged near her desk) that's it"

Asad's cabin:

Asad was standing near the drawing board examine some model when someone knocked his cabin door

Asad: come in!(his eyes still fixed at the design placed on the board) just give me 5 mins

After few mins, he made some changes in the measurements than finally turning towards the waiting person who was none other than Zoya. He was happy for finally being able to see her which he is not ready to accept.

Asad: yes, what brought you here

Zoya: sir...design...(composing herself ), we are starting with our blueprint design... fo..forr the sea link... these are some of the basic plans we have come up with.Rohan told regarding this project I have to directly report you(handling him the file)

Asad thinking "is she always so nervous? or do I resemble that weird soaps vamp which ammi always watch"

Asad took the file and sat in the visitors chair nearby and also motioned Zoya to sit in the beside trolley chair which she silently obeyed than Asad went through the design and was actually impressed by her work has a head architect its is just the basic plan but then was perfectly done still there were slight changes needed

Asad: just redesign this pillar part(he wheeled his chair a bit near her showing her the design and explaining required changes to her)

Zoya was feeling very awkward with this closeness she just wished this discussion to end soon. she slightly glanced at him, Asad was fully immersed in the discussion to notice anything, Zoya also ignoring her awkwardness started concentrating on his words.

Asad: It's good but all its charm will go in vain since half of it will be covered in water and from the side view it will end up just like any other normal pillar I want it to me more unique so redesign it accordingly...rest everything is perfect, you can start with the blueprint.

Zoya: sure sir, I will redesign this pillar part and will start with the blueprint along with the team

That's when Asad noticed her awkwardness and immediately sat back maintaining the safe distance

Zoya stood up and took a step towards exit

Asad: one more thing!

She turned around in haste and collided with the chair due to which she lost her balance and fell on him and his hand protectively went around her waist holding her tightly. Asad was startled by the sudden turn of event and seeing her in his lap where she has tightly held his collar for support and her eyes tightly closed, she looked soo adorable to him. Zoya felt liked like being gripped by something strong, She slowly opened her eyes and was shocked seeing him so close, Asad just loosened his grip and Zoya immediately stood up. They both were having the mutual feeling that was just to disappear from the spot. Asad also got up from the chair.

Zoya: that chair...

Asad: its ok breath

Zoya(composing herself): you wanted to say something sir?

Asad: yeah...actually(thinking"damm I forgot" immediately remembering)Ayaan! I mean explain Ayaan everything I want him to be involved in each and every aspect of this project.

Zoya: ok

Asad: that's it..you can get back to your work

That's it Zoya hurriedly rushed out of the cabin and directly went to her place. She can still smell his sexy cologne, she took a glass of water from the table and gulped it in one go. Zoya took a long breath thinking"it's just an accident forget it Zoya".

Here one person was noticing her weird behaviour after coming out of Asad's cabin yeah you all guessed it right our despised Billo rani

Tanveer thinking"now what did she do! What might have happened inside the cabin that she is acting so strange! It's ok your days are oops correction your hours are numbered miss Siddique, within sometimes jammy will be kicking you out of DC"(smirking evilly she went towards her cabin)

After some time in Asad's cabin

Asad: Rohan to my cabin RIGHT NOW!

Rohan: I can guess that tone.Rohan tu toh gaya

He hurried to Asad's cabin where Asad was searching something his expression was no less than a hungry lion in search of prey Rohan just gulped and went inside

Rohan: yes sir

Asad: Rohan where is my Delhi project design! I can't find it dammit

Rohan: sir Delhi project that corporate design which you were personally handling.

Asad: really?Thanks for the knowledge.I am not asking you the description, the designs are missing. I was supposed to complete it today! How come whole design got disappeared from my cabin!!!!

Rohan(confusingly): but sir I think you don't remember but we have done with that design, yesterday only Ayaan sir approved it and even its construction have started

Asad: What!!Rohan quick!stop the construction right now

Rohan: sir but...

Asad(shouted): DO AS I SAY DAMMIT!!!!

Rohan immediately made a call in Delhi branch and stopped the construction

Asad: you think I'm dumb sitting over here! Who doesn't remember such a big thing, I haven't completed the design yet. how can Ayaan approve an incomplete design, but how the hell did it leaked outside!!

Rohan: sir that design got approved by Ayaan sir since yesterday you were busy with back to back meetings which mean out of the three project one was this project. I think we should talk to Tanveer because I was accompanying you in meeting that's why she was handling the projects, maybe she knows?

Asad: what do you mean by "maybe she knows" she should know it. if she was handling this yesterday than she is definitely answerable to us call her and also Ayaan immediately

Soon Ayaan and Tanveer came and Rohan explained them everything

Asad: Ayaan how can you be so irresponsible to approve an incomplete design??

Ayaan: I accept it's a mistake from my side that I didn't go deep into detail because it was designed by you so it has to be perfect..but trust me bhai I didn't approve any incomplete design that design was completed that too with a report.

Asad: what that design was completed!! But who dared to touch my design and even the report was made!! Mind explaining how all this happened Tanveer since you were the in charge yesterday!!!

Tanveer: jamm...Asad, I am speechless with all this occurring... yeah, it's true that I had sent all those reports and design to Ayaan for approval but it doesn't contain any Delhi project design.

Ayaan: what you mean to say that I'm lying!!!

Asad: Tanveer!! You can't blame Ayaan like this if he is saying he got the design that means he got the completed design!! What I'm asking is how come such a design was made without my knowledge.

Tanveer: I didn't mean it in that way trust me I can't even think of blaming Ayaan! What I am saying is maybe that design got exchanged

Ayaan: but who got the access to Bhai's cabin to do that

Rohan: Ayaan sir you might be having the soft copy right, maybe we can find out using it

Ayaan: yeah that's a good idea! We can know how they have designed and can guess their intentions

Tanveer was smiling inwardly since her plan getting executed perfectly

Ayaan logged in from Asads laptop and opened the soft copy. Asad went through the key factors and was enraged

Asad(angrily): whoever completed this design their intentions are clear they wanted to spoil this project..they will have to pay for it!!
