"To you, parents are important, aren't they?" Seher said and Zoya nodded. "His mother means the world to him, isn't she?" Seher asked and Zoya nodded once again. "I'm not saying that what he did is right but he did this in anger because his mother was dying. People lose their mind once they see their loved ones in pain."

"But that doesn't explain why he keeps insulting me every time he gets the chance to!" Zoya argued.

"Do you really believe that he insults you because he hates you?" Seher asked and Zoya nodded.

"He always criticize how I dress, how I act.. Everything I do is wrong for him!" She said.

"Some people are scared of changing their habits. If he's bad with you maybe he's just scared of letting his feelings take control over him." Seher said.

"Where did you learn all these things Seher?" Zoya asked quizzically.

"From you ammi." Seher answered and she disappeared as Zoya was waking up.

What a mind blowing dream! Thought Zoya sceptically. She frowned as she saw that it was already dark outside. She remembered the words Seher said to her and realized that Asad had told her exactly these same words. He was scared to love her. She got up and prayed to the Almighty before leaving. She barely knew where to go as she had her memory back but still she couldn't remember everything yet. She walked carefully, avoiding dark corners. She was already walking for twenty minutes when she felt as if someone was behind her.

'Ya Allah please, protect me.' She prayed silently as she was walking faster. She turned to the right and began running until her lungs were burning. She stopped running and spotted a car coming towards her. She looked behind her and saw a drunk man approaching her. He had a bottle of alcohol in his hand and was nearing her dangerously. He raised his hand to hit her and she closed her eyes in fear but the hit never came. She opened her eyes and saw Asad himself. He was holding the man's hand and he was looking at the man in anger. He punched him in the stomach and Zoya gasped.

"Don't even dare to touch her!" He said gritting his teeth.

He punched the man here and there and when he finally stopped, the man was on the ground, unconscious. He looked towards Zoya and in one swift move, he was holding her tightly against him.

Zoya hugged him back. He had saved her from this man like he did months ago when she had been attacked by those men near the train station.

He kissed her hair and she shivered. But then she remembered their argument and she took a step back. He looked at her surprised then he recomposed himself and gulped.

"Woh..Actually.. Zeenat, Najma and ammi were worried for you as it's already 7.00 pm. They asked me to look after you." He said, avoiding to look into her dark orbs.

'So they were worried about me but not you?' She thought and followed him to his car.

She sat silently in the car as he drove back home. Asad was preoccupied about Zoya and her behaviour. As soon as she got back home, she didn't even talk to the women in the house. She just locked herself in her room.
