CHAPTER1
THOSE BROWN EYES
The sun was finally making it's departure.Soon the land will be engulfed in darkness.I looked at the trees surrounding me.It's scary branches could scare the daylights out of anyone.But it did'nt scare me,instead it gaurded me by keeping me away from the sight of evils.Amidst,the gigantic trees I could see the moon giving me a welcome smile from the dark vast sky.He was'nt accompanied by the stars this time.I waved at moonie and was gonna ask about the absence of his twinkling friends but got interrupted by an unpleasant voice.I turned back to check and gasped in excitement at the sight in front of me, there stood a unicorn.Without my knowing,my legs followed the angelic creature.I went past the huge trees and hungry rabbits to be stopped near the lake.I looked at the creature,it indeed was an angel dawned upon the earth.It was shining in the moonlit night.I slightly looked away eagerly searching for another angel but was met by a pair of dark brown eyes behind the trees,across the lake.Those eyes were fixed on me.I wanted to look away.I was scared,there was noone in the dense forest except me and the animals..Then whom did the eyes belong to..I felt as if it's gaze was penetrating into my soul.I looked away this time and my eyes searched for the unicorn but it was nowhere to be seen.Where is it????I thought aloud...Soon someone from behind pulled me down into the icy cold lake...Helpp...
I woke up in my bed,sweating.I tried to calm down by telling myself that it was just a dream.But my inner voice questioned me 'who gets this kinda creepy dreams regularly'?Yep it wasnt the first time I was dreaming about this dense forest but for the first time it appeared scary with those brown eyes..'you are a weirdo zoya'-my inner voice told me.Stupid inner voice.It needed some serious teaching.My alarm rang suddenly indicating college time..Arggh...I did'nt want to go there?Seriously,I loathe everything about that college.From Miss Universe[NOTE MY SARcasm] Sara Johnson's never ending boasting to Mr Qureshi's ever lasting detentions ..HOW I WISH I could vanish into thin air right now?I dont wanna go there...MY Clever Mom forced me in to this.HOW I WISH I was back in my room,sleeping in my comfy bed.LOOK WHERE I'm???In one of the luxurious apartments in the outskirts of the bustling city.

Arghh..It's that Humeira.Why the hell is she bothered?It's not like she is my mother right?To wake me up everyday, to ensure that I am never late but always on right time.I hate those people who tries to control my life.'YOU AWAKE'-she knocked on the door again.'YEAH',,I tried to sound sweet as possible.But I seriously dont care if I failed in doing so.When I heard her retreating foot steps,I jumped from the bed to get ready.Grabbing my favorite pineapple printed tank top and blue denim,I dashed towards the bathroom.'IT's SUCKS BEING YOU,ZOYA'-my inner voice chanted.'YEP I KNOW..'-I snapped back at my not-so-polite inner voice...
'So how are you going today'???Humeira questioned on our way.'LIKE always,walking,I replied politely.I wondered why she asked so.That's how we went to that hell from past 2 months right?Then why is she with such a query now.'Actually,,I'm skipping class today,I'm going with Ayaan'-she started.I SMILED,I really liked Ayaan.HE IS A COOL GUY.I must admit Humeira and he makes a good couple together.'I 've told him that I will come on sunday.WELL,when does he listen to me?I really dont wanna leave you alone.BUT...'OH COMEON,DONT START AGAIN.I AM NOT A kid I can Walk alone.YOU GO AND ENJOY WITH AYAAN-I said this in haste that I doubt she heard me clearly.SEriously,I did'nt want her to say no to Ayaan because of me...MY THoughts got stuck when she hugged me .'I LOVE YOU,ZOE'..-she announced.I SMILED AT her cute gesture.Our embrace was broken by Ayaan'.HEY,MONA,,wassup??-he asked .HUMEIRA turned back and pecked his cheek.'Come, we can go.I got your Mona's permission'-She said smiling at me.'YEP, NOW CAN YOU BOTH JUST GO,I'M GONNA BE LATE,-I tried to sound angry.BUT I SERIOUSLY dont think it turned in that way..'OH you are so cute,Mona-Ayaan stated.They both got into his luxurious car and sped off..WELL THIS MAN,AYAAN AHMED KHAN was damn rich.So Humeira is gone.NOW you are free,Zoya..I grinned devilishly,looking at the bar nearby..Its time to have fun,ZOYA.Its time to get drunk,to get those creepy dreams and brown eyes away from your head..NO boring lectures today,,YIPPEE..Hey,really is that eagle coming for a drink,I asked the guy in the bar,looking at the sky through the window.OH NO,I am not gonna share my drink.HE gave me a death glare,handing me my 10th glass of vodka.The bar seemed dancing in the wave,well,correction, the whole earth was dancing ..YOU Are In trouble ,ZOYA.YOU Are drunk...
