Day one.

Zoya and Asad where living in the same roof since the day before. As Zoya had expressed her need to discover Bhopal, Asad offered to help her discover the city. So they had decided to go to the state museum of Madhya Pradesh.

"Asad, please do take care of her."

"Don't worry ammi, as long as she has pizza she will be okay." He teased Zoya and she glared at him.

"Phuphi, is there any jar of jam for Jammy?" She asked.

"Nahin Zoya. Since you left, Asad has stopped eating jam." Dilshad said. Asad glared at his mother while she smirked. Why had she said this?

"That inspires me of a poem..

The only thing sweet in Asad's life was gone..

"Vah vah! Vah vah!" Dilshad said and Zoya raised her eyebrows at Asad.

"Well ammi we have to go!" Asad said and grabbed Zoya's hand. They left while Dilshad was smirking, she was sure that they would end up together.

Asad and Zoya had spent a great time in the museum, making silly photos, they just enjoyed themselves. Now they were sitting in an ice cream parlor. Zoya was intrigued to hear more about Asad.

"Jammy..um..Where is Rashid uncle?" She inquired. Asad got tense on hearing her.

"Um..He was cheating on ammi for four years, before you left. Ammi discovered it few months after you left. I have two step-sisters, Nikhat and Nuzrat and a step-brother, Ayaan." Zoya held his hand in hers.

"I'm so sorry. Being your best friend, it was my duty to help you in this situation." She confessed.

"Don't say this. It's not your fault Pizza eater. I'm happy to have you back now." they smiled and ended their ice cream.

"Zoya, what about you? What did you do since you went to the States?"

"I went to a great school, then I did technology studies. A computer doesn't have any secret for me now. And Zeenat api wanted me to marry her son's friend and I was like 'nahin, I'm not marrying with this guy'. I remember how she was going to kill me but well she didn't because I'm her favorite sister!"

"Zoya, you're her only sister." Asad said and Zoya chuckled.

"Shut up you!" She said then made a face.

"I missed you so much Zoya."

"I missed you too Asad."

They went back to the Khan mansion. Zoya went to watch a film with Najma while Asad was in his room. He took the ring in his drawer and looked at it.

Flashback.

Zoya and Asad were playing near a lake. Then Asad kissed her on the cheek and she smiled at him. She got up from the sand and stood before the lake, her purple dress and her long hair flowing in the air. She turned towards Asad and said:

"When I grow up, I want you to tell to my fianc that I'll accept his proposal only if he proposes to me here in Upper Lake."

"I won't have to tell him Pizza eater. He knows it already. Then he put out of his pocket a small ring Najma had made for Zoya and he took her hand.

"When I grow up, I will bring you here and I will ask you to marry me Zoya."

End of flashback.

He smiled at remembering this. He just realized that the way he acted towards her back in the plane was a sign his heart had shown him. Even before he realized that his Zoya was back, his heart had already realized it.

Zoya on the other hand was remembering the day she had left to go to USA.

Flashback.

"Jammy, I don't want to go! I want to stay here with you!" She had hugged Asad tightly and she was crying on his shoulder. He pulled away and wiped her tears away. He kissed her knuckles.

"Listen Zoya, even though you're leaving, I won't forget about you." Zoya smiled and hugged Asad once more then she pulled of the ring of her finger and gave it to Asad.

"Listen Jammy, this is the ring you gave me. When I get back from USA, I will take back this ring and I will never leave you again."

"Promise Pizza eater?" they linked their pinky finger together as a promise.

"I promise Jammy."

End of flashback.

Zoya was smiling at remembering this. She was sure that her heart had recognized Asad before her. That's why she had kissed him. She remembered everything they had done together. She remembered when a boy had teased her because her father had abandoned her. And Asad had stood up for her saying that maybe she didn't have a father but she sure more educated than the boy as she wouldn't made fun of anyone. The boy had punched Asad and Asad had said that as long as he left Zoya alone he wouldn't care if he hurt him.

Zoya got up from her bed and went into Asad's room without knocking.

"Jammy I...Six packs.." Zoya saw Asad shirtless and instantly watered. He was so damn sexy.

"Love what you see?" He said and Zoya looked at him with wide eyes.

"Um..Asad I..I..Tomorrow it's my ammi's death anniversary and I wanted you to drive me to the cemetery."

"Of course Pizza eater." She was going to leave but Asad held her hand and brought her near him, her back against his abs. He hugged her from behind and kissed her neck.

"Tell me Zoya, do you feel the same way as me? Tell me Zoya, do you feel as if your heart is going to get out of your chest each time you see me?"

Zoya closed her eyes in pure agony.

"Asad.." She whispered as he left wet kisses on her neck. His warm hands were roaming on her flat belly.

"Zoya! Asad! Diner is ready!" They heard Najma's voice and freed herself from Asad's grip before getting out of his room blushing. How was it possible to still love someone after almost 20 years??
