Asad showered and changed by the time he came out Zack had left for the office, even though he had told him to take the day off.

On the way back to the hospital Asad stopped off at a department store and bought Zoya a couple of outfits and some toiletries.

In the time that Annie and Zoya had spent together they had truly bonded that much more. Annie who owed Zack's life to her officially declared Zoya as her sister. 'Zoya, if you don't eat they will stick that needle back into you' Annie said trying to get her to drink her soup.

Zoya was about to protest again when the door opened. Annie turned around 'finally...Bhaijaan please get her to eat something she is so much hard work'. Asad put down the bags he was holding and walked towards her 'you look tired' he said 'I feel tired...the injection...I guess it causes drowsiness' 'Annie, let her sleep, she can eat once she has rested' 'ok Bhaijaan' 'Zoya...I managed to pick you a few things up...once you are feeling better Annie can help you change and freshen up' 'thank you'.

Asad took Annie outside letting Zoya catch up on some much needed sleep. Asad sat down; letting out a deep sigh he held his head in his hands. Annie placed her hand over his shoulders 'are you ok?' 'I think so...Annie...I wanted to ask you something' 'Bhaijaan you don't need permission, what is it?' 'After Zoya is discharged...I want her to come and live with us...just for a short while, until I...we know that she is ok...I don't like the idea of her going back to live on her own...' 'I was thinking the same thing Bhaijaan, after what she done it's the least we can do...don't worry once Zoya is out of here she will come home with us...Bhaijaan you can go, when she wakes up I can call you' 'I won't be long, I just need to sort out a few things...I don't want Zack on his own'.

By the time Asad had finished everything he needed to it was nearly half 7 in the evening. He had sent Zack to the hospital and asked him to keep him posted of Zoya's progress.

Asad stood outside the door watching Zoya sitting up laughing with Zack and Annie, she looked beautiful 'you came into my world as an intern, and today you sit with my family as one of us, an angel...I am never going to let you go Zoya' he said to himself.

'Am glad to see you are feeling better' Asad said making them all look up at him 'I do...it doesn't hurt so much' she said smiling at him. Zoya had changed into a dress he had bought her, as he sat down on the chair Annie pulled up for him he looked towards Zack 'have you spoken to the doctor' 'Yes, Zoya needs to have an X-ray tomorrow, if they feel she is ok they will let her go home on Friday...but she will need to come back for a few further checkups'.

'Zack, why don't you take Annie home, she has been here the whole day' 'I was going to, was waiting for you to come...all sorted?' 'Yes, pretty much'.

Zack and Annie hugged Zoya and left her with Asad. 'Thank you for the clothes...and the toiletries, I really appreciate it' 'it's nothing Zoya, please don't say thank you. Have you had something to eat?' 'I didn't have a choice my new found brother and sister are good at force feeding' Asad let out a little laugh 'I am glad'.

Between the three of them they made a point of being with Zoya throughout the day, Zoya also had a few more visitors, Dev came along with a few other colleagues to wish her well.

By Friday lunch time the doctor had given Zoya the all clear, he changed her bandage and gave her a new set of medicines that she needed to take for a week. 'You will need to come and see me on Tuesday, in the meantime if you experience excessive headaches or feel nauseas then you need to come back straight away' 'I will do, can I go home now?' 'Yes, I need to sort out your paper work and get your discharge letter ready, another hour...you can call you family to come and pick you up'

Zoya went to pack her things away, as she sat down her phone vibrated

Doc called to say you are ready to go home, we will be coming to pick you up...be there in ten minutes or so

Zoya text Annie back

you have done so much for me already, its ok, I can get a taxi

Zoya started laughing when Annie sent her an angry face emoticon back

Ok...I am waiting

Zack and Annie came in to pick her up, Zoya's eyes looked back at towards the door searching for him. Annie didn't miss how her eyed wondered 'He is signing your discharge form' she said Zoya looked away feeling a little embarrassed 'shall we go?' 'Yeah'.

'Hi' Zoya greeted him as he walked up to her 'hi...you ok?' I am now...I mean now that I am going home'.

Annie sat in the back with Zoya whilst Zack sat up front with Asad who was driving. Deep in conversation Zoya didn't realize which direction the car was going. It was only when Asad parked the car that she looked up.

'An...Annie what are we doing here...I though you were taking me home' Annie held her hand this is home Zoya, you are staying with us' Zoya looked at her wide eyed, before she could respond in any shape or form Annie had jumped out of the car. Zoya turned around and saw Asad holding the door open to her. She couldn't bring herself to move 'Zoya come' Asad said holding his hand out to her.

Zoya hesitantly placed her hand in his and stepped out of the car 'Asad...Annie, I can't stay here...please...I would like to go home' Asad looked towards Annie with concern, he didn't want her to go back but he didn't want her getting upset either.

Understanding his worry Annie took over from Asad 'you called me your sister...right' 'Annie please' 'right?' Zoya let out a sigh 'yes I did' 'you called Zack your brother, right?' Zoya nodded 'then this is your home, this is where your brother and sister live...we are not letting you go back there Zoya, you can fight until the cows come home and even longer than that...none of us are taking no for an answer. You are a part of us, one of us and forever will be' Zoya's tears started to run down her face, not being able to voice anything she wrapped her arms around Annie and hugged her dearly. Annie looked up at Asad who gave her a thumbs up.

Annie took Zoya straight to her room 'this is your room, you have access to the balcony through there, an ensuite shower and bathroom there...and in their you have your cupboard. Zoya's eyes started to spin; the room was bigger than her whole floor at the hostel. Zoya felt totally lost and overwhelmed. One one side she had a beautiful double bed and on the other side two sofas, a coffee table and a plasma screen that covered most of the wall.

Zoya opened the door to her cupboard, she looked back at Annie confused. Annie started laughing 'it's a walk-in cupboard...go ahead' Zoya let out a gasp as she walked further in, it wasn't a cupboard it was a whole designer outlet. Asad, Zack and Annie had filled every part of her cupboard with shoes, clothes, bags and jewellery.

'Annie...I can't accept this...please don't burden me this...I' Zoya started crying. Annie knew what she felt and understood why she cried. 'Zoya we love you...this is nothing, a small welcome home present for our dear sister...you are with us now, so please don't cry'.

As Annie and Zoya came out they saw Kaki standing there with Asad. Kaki walked up to Zoya and cupped her face 'what you did for my Zack...may Allah always s bless you beta' 'Zoya...I have given Kaki your medication, she will make sure you take it at the times prescribed by the doctor...also whatever you need, whenever you need it you let Kaki or myself know...Kaki always likes to know what everyone likes to eat, so if you can give her a list she will prepare something for you' 'Thank you...I will do'.

Annie helped Zoya change into something more comfortable and then came out to join Asad and Zack.

Zoya sat there unable to believe what course her life had taken, a few months ago she was a geek, a nobody who was struggling to get where she wanted and today she sat with a family, her family like she was a princess, the most luckiest girl in the world.
