PROLOGUE :
Getting out of his black jaguar , while the driver held his door open for him , he checked his watch for one las time. Five minutes to ten. He was on time. It was a good practice to be on time and he was strict one at that.
Asad Ahmed khan , the CEO of KHAN enterprise Stood arrogantly in-front of his NY office and sneered. He waited for seventeen long years for this day to happen. Imran, his PA, had texted him an hour ago about the meeting with Mr. Rashid Ahmed khan , his rival. His father. Dilshaad constructions was to be doomed, he snarled just at the thought of it . Asad knew how it would end and it gave a serene piece of satisfaction.
Straightening his court and maintaining his decorum , he went inside his office to be greeted by a 56 year old man , sitting nervously looking at some documents with his spectacles trying hard not to fall off from his nose. Rashid looked up to find his son standing with his hand inside his pockets "Asad" ? he said warily.
"Its mr. khan for you. Mr. rashid." Asad chuckled, Showing his absolute dislike for the old man.
"In that case , mr khan. Please don't ruin my career. I have shares at stake. My company is undergoing a financial loss. You cant take dilshaad constructions right now. I'll be left on roads."
"All I care is about the company mr. rashid. Dishaad constructions is reaching its end anyways. Its better if I take things in my hands now." Asad smiled as he lit his cigar. Rashid ahmed khan was a weak man. Monetarily and emotionally. Construction company was all that he had and he couldn't afford to let it go. Only if his son would understand.
"Why" his voice whispered.
"You know why" asad gave him an intense stare.
"Don't do that son."
"Don't call me that". he sneered. "You better sign the papers now. I don't have whole day for you."
"Asad. I am your father. Please."
"Unfortunately." Asad chiselled his lips. "Anyways. Mr. rashid Ahmed khan. I want it done in next five minutes or it will take me few seconds to bring you and your entire family on streets."
"Legally, mr. khan. I should be given 6 months of time to make me recuperate my losses before I give you my firm. Thereby I shall handover the documents if I fail to compensate financially. I am sorry for the inconvenience"
Asad sighed. How did he miss this clause. Of course there was six months period before any takeover. He smiled, upholding the professionalism " Sure. Mr. rashid. Your abdication can wait for six more months."
...
"He's too evil for a mankind." Rashid took the last sip of his coffee. " I don't know what to do. I cant arrange such huge amount in such small period mr Siddiqui. The loan company has taken needs to be returned. Employees need salary or they'll quit. I am ruined. I see no way out." He sighed. Darkness was overpowering his consciousness as the drink made its way down the body.
"Not yet Rashid. Not yet. Asad might be a prodigious player of the corporate world , the one thing that has the potential to bring the man down is his old wound. His old acquaintance zoya farooqui." The bald man laughed cunningly.
"Hello. Zoya?"
