About Maria I can say is...
She was indeed a pious soul, loved to spread smiles and love. She kept family united all the time. But died tragically due to failed operation.

Both Zoya and Maria are Zubair's most loved daughters. After Maria's tragic death Zoya had been the only source of happiness for the old man because his elder daughter Sadia is already married and visits rarely even after being in the same city. Anyways He wants to spend twice on Zoya's Wedding to fill the gap of happiness he would have received at Maria's marriage in the future. He wants to spend his savings made for Maria's wedding also on Zoya's wedding but its still a sorrow phase in the family.
Zubair's only happiness is his daughters smile.
But his desire was left desires because Zoya wanted a simple marriage, she broke all her dreams regarding her lavish marriage. She turned realistic. Zubair was happy with Zoya's happiness.
Haha, Afreen (name not fully confirmed because she is present in qubool hai as a witch, but her personality almost personifies her. You can suggest something new if you like. 😉) and Madeeha, big problem at the present but will turn good later.
Actually the twist in the tale is that the real villain of the story is someone totally unexpected.
Hmm.. actually I wrote the whole story concept at the beginning itself. I'm just trying to implement it beautifully with a better back story.
Two new entries will be soon introduced, Heena and Farzana Begum. One is positive and one is veteran negative respectively.
