Surbhi refused to show her sister and best friend any sympathy 'you two have exactly one hour to get up and sort yourselves out...otherwise I am leaving without you'
Suhana and Ria managed to stick to the deadline Surbhi had given them, she had planned a number of activities for the day, some they moaned at and others they looked forward to, especially the shopping at the end.
The first thing on the list was scuba diving. After sailing out to where there instructor was they changed into their swim wear Asad almost stopped breathing seeing her come out in her swimming costume, Asad had to force himself to turn around 'Suri having fishes swimming in and out of my hair is not my idea of having fun' Suhana complained 'Suhana...either you jump in or I push you, your choice' 'ok...I'm going...Akash please hold my hand' pulling down her goggles she took hold of his hand and jumped in.
After Zack and Ria jumped Surbhi looked towards Asad, the physical attraction between them was heating up by the second, and they both felt it. 'You ready to jump?' 'Either I do or you push me...right?' 'No that is only Suhana...drama queen'. Asad held his hand out which Surbhi took instantly and then they both jumped in.
The exhilaration they all felt was beyond this world, swimming in the sea with its natural habitat was something they were never going to forget. None of them could contain their screams as they came back up 'oh my gosh...that was amazing...lets go again' Ria said. Ria and Zack went back into the depths of the sea whilst the other four went back up on to the boat again.
Drying themselves off the girls went around the back to get changed whilst Asad and Akash just put on a tee-shirt each.
Sitting on the beach under a sun umbrella Surbhi looked out to Asad who was playing football with Akash and Zack see something you like?' Ria said looking in the same direction as Surbhi 'what other than the beautiful blue sky, the white sand and sea?' 'Yes other than all that' 'Nope' 'liar...you will lie even to me' Surbhi took off her sunglasses and turned to face her 'what makes you think I am lying?' 'Because I am the only person who knows you more than you probably know yourself...I know you are Surbhi Saxena, the biggest name to hit the world of Indian cinema in the last decade but you are still you, a girl, a normal human being with real emotions' 'Ria what are you trying to say?' 'Suri...please don't hold back...don't stop yourself from what you feel is right...when it comes to the heart...let it rule you' 'Ria...please remind you never to let you go into teaching, you are so bad at explaining anything' 'ugh...Suri...' 'What' she exclaimed 'stop playing dumb with me' 'I am not playing anything with you Ria...what is it that you want me to say?' 'I want you to say that you like him...that you like Asad Ahmed Khan...more than a friend...I want you to admit that you like him so much that you are falling in love with him'.
Surbhi sat still as Ria's eyes started to moisten 'what difference will it make Ria...he likes someone else' Ria snapped her head up at her 'Suri...how can you not see, not know...it's you...he likes you...like I am sitting her with you having this conversation, Zack has already spoken to Asad...Suri...if you two like each other so much why are you holding back...you deserve to be happy in love like the rest of us'.
Surbhi's eyes travelled back towards Asad, she couldn't breath as realisation dawned on her 'he...he likes me...that night when he was telling me...he was talking about me?' Ria sat next to Surbhi and took her hand in hers 'yes, he was...Suri...don't let him go...he is...' 'I know Ria...I...what if...' 'Suri don't...don't cloud your heart with buts and what ifs...we are sitting here thousands of miles away from India...away from the media and any camera's the one place you can be you and be free...tell him'
Surbhi stood up, Ria could tell she was nervous 'Surbhi Saxena and nervous...don't be...remember what you used to say to me...that they day you tell a guy that you love him will be the best day of your life...go and make this moment, this day the best day of your life Suri'.
Asad who was tackling Zack stopped as he saw Surbhi walk towards them 'you want to join us' Zack called out but Surbhi totally ignored him, her focus was on Asad only and everything else around for that moment ceased to exist.
Asad threw the ball towards Zack and closed the gap between them 'you ok?' 'Not so long ago I made a deal...I said to a good friend of mine that the day I fall for a guy I would go up to him and blow him away...you know in my own filmy andaz' Asad stood very still as Surbhi continued to look at him, Asad tried to say something but he couldn't bring himself to breath yet alone speak, her gaze full of emotion burned straight through him.
Before Surbhi could change her mind or get cold feet she did what she had planned to do in her head. Surbhi took Asad's face in the palm of her hands, tiptoeing up Surbhi captured his lips with hers. Ria fell of the chair she was sitting on whilst Zack let out the loudest man scream ever. Akash and Suhana just stood there with their jaws and eyes wide open.
Asad smiled against her lips 'consider him blown away' he said as he kissed her back and then wrapped his arms around her lifting her.
