Ria and Payal looked at Surbhi unimpressed, as Suhana and Payal went upstairs to help her wash and change Ria met Asad 'I'm so sorry for...umm...let me get you something to change into' she said looking at the state of his clothes. Ria came back with a change of clothes and showed Asad to the guest room, which he used to shower and change himself.
'Thank you...' 'Ria, my name is Ria, I am Suri...I mean Surbhi's younger sister' Asad held his hand out 'I am Asad' 'Asad...oh...the music guy' Asad started laughing 'didn't realise I was so famous'. Ria started laughing too 'trust me...if you are not already you most definitely will be, Suri has not stopped singing your song since she heard it' Asad looked at her surprised 'wow...I thought she didn't like me' 'oh trust me she doesn't...but she still loves your song'. Asad laughed out even louder 'well Ria it was a pleasure meeting you...I hope she will be ok' 'I am sure she will...thank you once again'.
Surbhi woke up feeling like death warmed over 'someone help' she called out in a groggy voice 'Miss Surbhi Saxena, what the hell were you thinking and doing last night' Surbhi looked up to see Suhana standing there in her Hitler avatar 'Suhana...not now please...I only had a few drinks' 'yes a few too many...you know you can't handle more than two sips of anything with alcohol and what did you do...do you even remember what happened last night?'
Surbhi sat up holding her head as she tried to remember 'I think I was going to fire Akash' Suhana threw her hands up in the air 'you know if it wasn't for Asad who took you out of there at the right time your face would have been plastered over every news channel and every newspaper...not only did he help you get out of there but he took all your vomit too' Surbhi shot her head up 'ouch' she said holding the side of it 'what do you mean' 'you vomited all over the poor guy, he helped bring you back home. Surbhi felt her insides twist 'I think I am going to die of embarrassment' 'you would have if he didn't help...now get up and get dressed you have a shoot this afternoon'
Surbhi walked downstairs to meet her mum 'sorry mum...I don't know what happened' 'it's not me you should be apologising to sweetheart...its Asad' Surbhi let out a moan. 'You never told me how good looking he was' Surbhi turned to look at Ria who was doing a funny dance with her eyebrows 'well I...I never noticed...all I see when I look at him is a moron' 'oh come on Suri ...the man is gorgeous...I mean like really drop dead gorgeous...seriously next time you see him check him out' Surbhi picked up the first thing she could find and threw it at her.
Not feeling a hundred percent Surbhi didn't do much around the set, luckily the main scenes being shot were of Aditya and some other actors. Sitting next to Mr Khanna she went over her script, trying to memorise her lines for the next scene 'Surbhi, we have been given a date for the music launch, it will be exactly 4 weeks after the post production part has been completed. Once the music has been launched we can concentrate on the promotion side' 'sounds good to me, are all the songs done, I mean the background score and the title track?' 'Almost, Asad has made a lot of progress since we met him in Delhi. I am hoping to have a sitting with him in a few days' time' 'umm...would you mind if I joined?' Mr Khanna looked at her oddly 'after the last time...I don't think...' 'Please Sir, I know I was a little off that time...promise to behave myself' Mr Khanna laughed at her cuteness 'ok Surbhi, I will let you know and then you can come'.
Surbhi walked into the studio with Zack and Mr Khanna, she sat at the back, almost hiding as she waited for him to come out Mr Khanna, one more song and he will be out' one of the technicians called out, Mr Khanna held up his thumb to say its ok, go ahead.
Surbhi couldn't see him, but she couldn't miss his voice, as soon as the music started playing his voice echoed all around her

Surbhi's insides fluttered she felt as if every beat, every word of the song took her deeper and further away into an abyss, a place that filled her with emotions she never knew existed.
Coming outside Asad met with Zack and Mr Khanna who patted him on the back and congratulated him. Asad was about to turn around when he saw her from the corner of his eye. First he thought it was a figment of his imagination and then when he looked he realised it was her sitting there.
Surbhi stood up looking a little nervous, which was totally out of any character for her. As she approached him she looked into his eyes, and for the first time hers didn't reflect any negative emotion 'Hi' she said in a low voice 'hi' Asad said not sure what was going on or even what she was doing here 'I wanted to...umm...the other day, I wanted to say thank you' 'its ok...am glad to see you are ok' Surbhi looked at him, Asad gave her a smile and was about to turn around when she called out to him again 'I'm sorry' not quite believing what he was hearing he turned around to face her 'you are...about what exactly?' 'Throwing up the contents of my stomach all over you' Asad started laughing 'yeah...for that...well next time I see you with a glass in your hand I will know to keep away'. Trying to keep her embarrassment at bay Zoya diverted the topic of conversation 'nice song' 'thanks...umm I have to go...' 'Yeah sure...bye' Surbhi had never felt so awkward in her life, she was struggling to hold a normal conversation with him, the same guy she was ready to punch the daylights out of.
Surbhi walked out of the recording studio, as she did she looked through the glass window to see him standing with Zack, thinking back to what Ria had said she looked at him that much closer, the way his face animated and his eyes sparkled every time he laughed or made a joke was a treat to watch, his tall muscular build, his short brown hair, everything about him started to stand out that much more. Even Surbhi had to admit that Ria was not wrong, Asad was very good looking, the more she looked at him the she saw just how handsome he really was. If she was totally honest she probably hadn't come across anyone who was as good looking as him, he was perfection personified.
