There is no "Fresh story". So there is nothing to be excited about! The only change is hero has supernatural ability as he is Sanu son! Lol

Yes something happened after the staged SR! The story suddenly changed! People were so disgusted by the SR scene and Gul Khan being Gul Khan decided to get revenge from the audience! Why would people "like" it when the woman is actually married to someone else? It's SO cheap! What did GK expect? Bouquet? She needs to see a shrink! She is hateful!Maybe Insta like for their tacky scene off screen pics made them think they can change the story? Or maybe it was revenge for the hate? Either ways they took revenge from SAHIL and Aahil fans! That much is CRYSTAL clear!

Okay, see. My problem is not SaHil death or leap or even Aahil death.
I can understand the makers' need and want to keep the show going, and it somehow does make more of a connective sense to show generational leap or revenge story or reincarnation or whatever, rather than complete fresh story with no connection to past with same actors.Totally agree. Change is required for movement of story. The makers can keep going on with a long term saga of a doomed family line till the it runs out of steam or they are no longer successful. That's fine with me.But what gets me is the utter disregard of the characters and pairings. For instance, even if Sanam didn't come back till after the cliff, why couldn't Jannat have been written better, less annoying--which is a feat because she's the complete victim. Why couldn't have it been something enjoyable to watch even if jannat was Jannat. Why the such arrogance and steadfast determination not to acknowledge wrongs as wrongs, but rather just bleach. And on top of the bleach, we have the pairing which was not even 1/4 done justice to. The early Dharamsala track showed the potential. The didn't bother. Then Jungle track too, still they didn't follow through. My biggest problem with this PH is follow through - they create beautiful moments, heroes with complex issues, heroines with layered personalities, opportunities for brilliant clashes/triangles/explosives... but then do not follow through. I wonder why someone would want to do this to their own creation, like why? Why was Jannat hating Aahil so much - you know they say the opposite of love is not hate it is indifference, but here she was just spitting venom against him - which was totally not good to watch. Then they did so many things that were so un-ARI - like the groom swap but for what purpose? Why did S2 make that SR picture if the blackmail was not going to achieve any movement in story - like a Shaad-Aahil clash for example? This is where I think that the show is just catering to the benches, something Gul had already said in her interview before, and which is why it pains the most. She has the potential to weave the most successful pairings and stories in the history of Indian TV, but she will not do so..Instead we see Aahil treated the way he is, Jannat being both a victim while simultaneously being completely annoying. And we are treated to double dose of other characters, with hardly any Aahil or "SaHil"--the little SaHil we get is mostly frustrating and better off not getting since it's all about insults. The 'death' scene is such a joke. Direction makes them both look like fools. (As I said, Jannat should've moved away after fake Shaad released her. And Aahil would've been down that hilltop instead of just standing there. Murtaza could've then made sure Aahil also tumbles down.). And till the end we see Aahil getting the shaft by Jannat, who just cuts him more and more.Yes, like the Shaad jaap was just too much. And, Aahil just watched Sanam die?Even if it's not really his death--so what. Even if we see them back together at the end before the leap--that doesn't take away from the fact that the journey till then could've been so much better. Couldn't the same thing have been done but with a better and less insulting portrayal of Jannat, Aahil and this so-called "love triangle"Bingo. But what I meant was that the death and Sanam's return after that was so disjointed... like, nothing happened?Have the guts to do what you want to do. You want to take a leap and continue the show, killing off the couple or Aahil or whatever. Do right by the couple and character and then stick to your plan and do it. At least then people cannot say you didn't do justice to the character and couple.I don't mind death or either couple or character. I really don't. It's the complete disregard for so many things during the journey that gets me.Most people here won't agree with me here, and this will probably ever get read by the CVs or anyone from the team, but whatever i just wanted to write it. I've been thinking about this since yesterday I guess.
On the contrary.. KK, everyone here.. well almost.. would agree with you.Originally posted by: KhatamKahani
