You know what Sage...I have been thinking about this show and honestly season 2 and season 3 have just been disappointments in comparison to season 1 in terms of the drama element.

I hate comparing other seasons because it's unfair and I don't want to drudge fan wares, but at this point of the story line...I'm just going to go ahead and call it.

The separation track for season 1 was amazing, and honestly even the horrid Zoyaan track is more bearable and watchable than what we have been subjected to for season 2 and 3.

Yes season 2 had an AMAZING build up for the SaHil love story, it's why we all got addicted to QH all over again or became new fans of the show.

After the love story and the start of the separation though...it was all downhill from there. I was not entertained the way I thought I would be and still am struggling to be entertained even now.

Season 3 has been wishy washy. There are the rare good moments and then there is just pure dragging. Just like season 2's separation track. It will drag till the point of no return. And when they do resolve anything, it isn't even worth watching the resolution!

The resolution of season 2's Tanveer's end track was downright ridiculous and unsatisfying.

The third angle in season 3, Shaad, is presumably sketched like Rehan, but more flawed yet horribly written.

Yes - we are seeing some sort of element in the story with Jannat trying to not feel for Aahil even when it's clear all her actions towards showering attention to Shaad are related to misplaced guilt and fear of attraction to Aahil.

It's still just leaves one wondering whatever happened to the charm of the show that was once so beautiful in it's story lines, all of the characters in the cast, and the beauty of the lead pair's story.

I just watched the Ajmer track unfold on youtube and even watched the scene where Zoya returns Asad's cellphone from the Zoyaan track...I felt that couple's pain completely in both scenes. It was heavy duty drama, but I was hooked to them.

What happened to the CVs on this show? Not saying season 1 was perfect, far from, but at least there was some form of honesty in the storytelling, some form of connectivity with it's viewers.

I keep hoping for that in this track, but it's just not going to come. Might as well accept that.

Anyhow, that was my rant on how dissatisfied I have been as a viewer watching this show. I though season 3 was going to rejuvenate the feels from season2 pre-separation track, but all I see is post-separation dragging and grating plot twists copied and pasted.

Spare me.

I rather watch Zoya and Asad magically come out from their graves alive as zombies and watch their zombie love story of love lost and found than this piece of garbage.

No offence to any of the actors on season 3, but regardless of your hard work and efforts, this show stinks.

The only thing that keeps me watching is the hope of a track where we have SaHil together, even if someone hates the other one, but at least working out their issues instead of being at this grating stand still.

i really do hope this party will actually bring crazy plot twists, because I have just about had it with the stupid ones they keep dishing out.

Also @KK - LMAO at your point on making Shaad mahaan. LOL it's not like you are giving them ideas. That was probably their plan all along.

They are keeping him in the show and you know what he is probably going to die killing SK and protecting SaHil, thereby absolving his sins.

And yea, that song was different, but nice. A bit anachronistic but suited SaHil's predicament accurately in any case.

Okay I'm going to just say it.

I'm not feeling SaHil anymore. I'm starting not to care if they get back together or not. I just want Aahil out of his misery.

Because Sanam looks happy where she is. There is no unrest on her side. Nuisance habits in knowing what Aahil needs, nonwithstanding.

Okay, it's a human reaction, I understand. People aren't perfect and make such choices. And it is very much a practical choice and decision to not tell Shaad. But she goes on preaching and giving bhashans and putting the blame all on Aahil. What is she doing? Stop being so hypocritical.

Also. I have a suspicion now that the Great Shayar will once again out of the blue be hailed as great 'jasoosi,' and this track will come to its end by cementing his status as the Great Mahan Purush. He will figure out (or have something something dropped in his lap which he will claim as his 'jasoosi') that Jannat is Sanam and Aahil's wife. And somehow he will be shown as Mahaan Purush and be responsible for Aahil-Jannat remarriage. Maybe he tells her the truth but is stopped from telling about Aahil. Who knows.

Oh God.

That's just we needed. For Shaad, the reason for all the confusion , to be the one to find out the truth. Yuck.

I'd rather see him act possessive and tell her off for being wishy washy. And see the Sanam in her wake up and tell him to sod off and stop telling her what and how to do everything...

Jannat and Aahil don't match, at all. I don't want her to be with Aahil, even in a hate marriage situation. To think we might have to watch Jannat give lectures non stop to Aahil henceforth.

In fact now that I've written this, watch. Everything will come to a head with our Sati Savitri Jannat's confession session with the Mahan Purush. He will then either figure it out that she is Sanam and prove himself to be a Mahan Purush straight away. Or he will go confront Aahil and Aahil gives him a much needed telling off--after which he will still prove himself to be a Mahan Purush. Either way, we will witness how great a Mahan Purush is the beloved Sociopathic Shayer.

why I feel that the storyline was close to Aahil and Nida story. Sanam was suffering from seeing Aahil and Nida together, and Aahil fighting with his feeling for her. ANd we all know how it finished 😉

Shaad will become suspicious about Jannat knowing many thing about Mr Aahil or he will stay blind or he will play a hero and let his place for Aahil the day of the nikah. We all know that when they planned to get married in 10 days or 7 days, it always finished with a twist.

Besides all these yesterday episode was not that bad😛 and I skipped all the Gandagi of GutterJaan except that lip touching part yuck🤢🥱 That was forced scene honestly! And I loved that Bus song sequence. It was beautifully shot!
