Asad pov :

I could still feel her plump lips on mine, the taste of her mouth seemed eternal. I could read the hurt in her eyes when I withdrew because I din want to go weak at that moment and do something which I would regret. zoya is one gem kind of person ,I don't want to take her for granted and use her when I'm still not sure if I have really moved on and could give her the love she deserved .let me first sort out my mess life, and detach myself from past life, the rest can wait.

Amaira pov

The nausea wasn't a big deal I was fine after an hour long sleep. Aditya had gone to office and din bother even to call me up once.things have now started taking toll on me.i live with him alone in the city and because of the hectic life I could hardly interact with new people and make friends leaving kia who is my office colleague .i get up and make myself a coffee.reaching the phone I drop myself on my sofa and dail kia's number she picks up within the second ring.

"hey I was about to call you up in the lunch hour, why dint you come today

Kia was well aware with my life she knew about me and asad, also that aditya had got to know this and is ignoring me since a month. I explain that I was unwell and couldn't make it to the office, she being a stranger understands me better than aditya but not as better as asad, he was divine who could sense my each nerve. Kia tells me to meet or contact asad to come out of this depression.

She tells me its nothing wrong if I wish to be in touch with asad, as she also had a past and is still in touch with her past. I ask if her husband is aware of this, she tells yea she brought him into the picture by introducing him as a mere crush during college .its very different in my case she could never imagine and understand the kind of bond I and asad shared ,staying in touch at the same time staying away from him was beyond my strength.

Zoya pov :

Yes I was hurt, I was disturbed, was I too clingy? I don't know, they were numerous questions running in my mind. later I get a message from humeria to meet her, its been long time I met her so I reply with a yes.

Later I and humeria meet in a nearby coffee house in the evening.

"I don't believe mom has sent another proposal ,she is annoying at times"

"come-on zoe, its high time you get hitched and I know akram he seems a nice guy and is also well settled ,you should give a thought to it...and it's not like you love somebody do you?"

My thoughts immediately drifted to asad ,in seconds it was broke by humi's voice

"is there something going on between you and asad"she asks giving me a sly look .

"emm not exactly"I barely whisper taking a long breath.

Humeria sips her coffee then squeeze my hand and spills "asad made a pass on me" and my world comes crashing down ,I jerk my hand out of her embrace.

"no he can't do that, he seems a nice guy" I immediately find myself defending him..

"oh come-on zoe he's not what he looks like, he wanted a no string attached relationship ,it was me who denied and told him to leave my house, then why do you think he shifted to the guest house overnight?'

Meeting with humeria ended abruptly, I could not digest it was asad who did a pass on humeria ,I agree she was gorgeous but she is ayann's wife and asad respected him immensely. And here what was I thinking asad is my knight and shining armor who would confess his love and there would be a happy ever after. I mentally slapped my thoughts, humeria was right I should give a chance to akram, maybe he is the one for me .after mind and heart battle ,I pick my phone and send a message to humi

" I'm ready to meet akram this Saturday ,hope it works out.tc"
