Time Bomb... 27-5-2015

What happened in last night's episode?

In simple words, everyone arrived at Nazia's engagement.

That's all.

But... goodness... the layers of secrets, hidden truths, forgotten relationships, enmity, unseen potential dangers in between... was like watching a ticking time bomb.

In order of arrival...

1. Shaad. (the hapless spy)

He followed Mayor Sahiba's cavalcade and snuck into the house she was visiting, not knowing it was Aahil's house. Somehow, he finds himself in Aahil's room, where he just misses seeing a wedding photo of Aahil and Sanam on the wall...

<Where was that photo when Sanam came few hours ago I wonder...?>

He sneaks around and is caught by Sanam2. She blurts out his name, forgetting she is not supposed to know who he is. <I'm hoping she does more of this and inadvertently tells off important things...heheee...>

" You Must be Shaad...I know where she is... the one you're looking for..."

2. Jannat (the amnesiac heroine)

Shaad suspects that SK already knows he's following her... checks his gun. Following the hostess he finds Jannat, who was also just arriving, grumbling about being there alone...

2. Saif and Mayor Sahiba (the Gold digger and the Terrorist)

Saif arrives, looking very handsome, meets his future bhaijaan-in-Law, looking equally (if not more-fangirl bias) gorgeous. Both share warm greetings and he is introduced to Mayor Sahiba... Aahil is stunned that she looks very very very familiar ...

"Have we met before? I feel like I've seen you somewhere..." Aahil says..

"Funny, I too feel as though I'm connected to this place somehow..."

4. Sanam2 (the resident criminal mastermind who has a lot to hide, a.k.a Sugar Mummy of the groom Saif)

Sanam2 walks by and Saif is eager to introduce her to his aapa. but she stands by Aahil, linking her arm around his.

Much to Aahil's irritation. And Saif's.

And Sanam/Jannat joins them, and observes the linked arms with an inscrutable face.

<What was that face? Is she finally going to feel something about Aahil? Deep seated Possessiveness perhaps?>

Lateef and Khala have an interesting and funny conversation that sort of sums up what's coming together in the house.

Dead people returning left, right and centre... First Sanam2, now Sanam?? <They haven't noticed the Tanveer look-alike yet !!>

So much death in the house, who are we in the pecking order ??

5. Nazia (innocent bride)

God bless Nazia, she is the first one in the house to be happy to see Sanam. The best moment in the entire episode for me...

the other very good exchange was the word fencing between Shaad and SK/ Mayor Sahiba. Both know each other's game, and a challenge was issued.

In subversive clever repartee, Shaad and SK are at war. Shaad to expose her, and SK to blatantly be in front of him, while he can do nothing...
