Twisted is the curve of that metal,
The more it is twisted, the more dimensions it reveals,
But how much twisting would it take,
Before it thins and snaps?
Jannat plays her game against fake Misbah. She knows that the real Misbah is somewhere in the house, and has to covertly find her without being scrutinized. So, the age old pest control trick of Zoya's is recycled.
She searched and searched but Shashi Kapoor proves to be one step ahead. Instead of succumbing to Jannat's drama, she conspired to get Jannat removed from the house...
It's a pity the Immigration officers were fake, because I quite enjoyed the interrogation that occurred before the dragged Jannat away.
Finally someone made Jannat ask and face the gaping holes in Shaad's story.
Where are her identification papers?
Where are their marriage papers?
Is she an Indian national?
Why doesn't Shaad just tell them everything?
Why does he just splutter and gape when he should be shoving the truth to these people?
Why couldn't he stop them from taking his wife away?

All he has for her are reassurances. Trust me, I'll fix this. Trust me I'll come and get you. I don't know how, but I will get you back.
(BTW Shaad's Dad is now revealed as an ex-police commissioner... OK..now I'm curious about what happened between him and his estranged wife... Even if this doesn't go anywhere, at the very least this sharp and no-nonsense man should get to the bottom of this crazy secret his son is keeping...)
So poor Jannat is whisked away by Shashi Kapoor's minions, and Shaad quickly figures out after a phone call, that the Immigration people were never there. And far away, the crooks stop the car to finish off their captive.
She runs! <Jannat discovers she has loads of running muscles, from repeated practice>
She conceals herself under a pile of leaves, but is inadvertently set on fire.

Oh Boy... another rescue scene? (*yawn*)
Far away in Bhopal, a nail biting scene of a live chess match was going on, where the King, seemingly powerless, attempts to take down the Queen.
<Oh how I loved Aahil's expressions of the past two days... smirks, eye rolls, sarcastic brow lifts. I mean, seriously?! >

He politely demands she produce proof of her pregnancy, witnessed by the lawyer, doctor, press, and maulvi. She panics and frets , and we are fooled into thinking that she is caught for sure.
Aahil is at the brink of celebrating, the anticipatory spring in his step was infectious. Kept me at the edge of my seat.
But... the only thing she was fretting about was, whether she'd be pregnant enough to produce a positive test. Which she did.
All by herself. No Nazia required.
And she rains upon Aahil, calling him a heartless husband, so evil to mistreat his wife.
Witnesses were fooled, she is now 3 weeks pregnant.

Wait, 3 weeks? HOW?
Aahil picks up on that... "This child is not mine !!" He hangs on to his checkmate desperately. "I want a paternity test !!!"

<I was literally cheering him on right then.. Come on Aahil!! Come on Aahil!!!>
But alas, the Queen, turned the tables her way, and King tasted the bitter taste of defeat. She rolls out the heavy melodrama, buckets of tears and tales of domestic abuse. She immediately finds sympathetic ears on the party before her...

KO... round one : Begum 1 Aahil 0
<Make no mistake... Aahil will be back... he made a vow. He is distracted from his search but he is intent on getting rid of the Begum.>
But a new villain is at the door...
The Begum reveals that her accomplice in this fledgling pregnancy is non other that Saif... So... he isn't as weak and pathetic as we were expecting.
He is very much a soldier for hire, hired to romance hapless Nazia and trap her. And a very willing partner in-bed, for the Begum...

How is Aahil going to get out of this mess??!
Bring on Shazia !!
Precap: Shaad and Jannat may find out who Shashi Kapoor really is...
