CHAPTER 1

The scene opens in a bathroom, where a couple are seen brushing their teeth and facing the mirror...but it did not seems that they were brushing but as if they were competing against each other..The women, Zoya prides herself on three things. Her voice, her eye for fashion and her ability to lie through her teeth to her husband.

Zoya brushes her teeth and spits it out in the sink, just as Asad comes up behind her to spit into the sink as well.

"You couldn't wait until I was done?" Zoya asks, stepping away from the sink to pull on her shorts.

Asad rinses his mouth and gargles, and then spits that in the sink as well. "No. I couldn't wait to spit out the gross toothpaste in my mouth. If you had bought the one you were supposed to buy, it wouldn't have been a problem."

Zoya raises an eyebrow as she does up the buttons on her shirt. "It's not my fault you forgot to put it on the list."

"We've been married six years. You should know what sort of toothpaste I like by now," Asad says.

Zoya rolls the sleeves of her shirt up to her elbows, "Seven years. We've been married for seven years."

"Even more reason for you to know the kind of toothpaste I like," Asad answers as he tugs on his pants.

Zoya sighs and walks from the bedroom to the kitchen. "Don't forget we have an appointment with Miss Dilshad this afternoon. I scheduled it on both of our lunch breaks so we could make it. Don't be late."

"I won't. I still don't think we need to go and see a shrink, but if that's what you think we should do then I'll go with you," Asad says as he grabs his lunch from the counter.
