Okay so I know that this topic is probably getting on some people's nerves but I feel like I just need to express my thoughts and views on the show so that I can at last just let it go.

Qubool Hai started off as such a light hearted fun drama that really had you begging for the next day to come just so you can watch the next episode. I mean I remember the first year of Qubool Hai I was practically a loner because I would spend my lunch time waiting for the episodes to air online. The show had the capability of getting you right in the feels and really just consume your thoughts for the rest of the day. I loved AsYa... Loved them to bits and I was quiet disappointed when KSG quit the show, but still I'm a happy unicorn and decided to give the new guy a chance and I liked him, I liked the pairing but the storyline had just started to go downhill at the point KSG left.

Still I watched the show waiting for that moment when I will be able to reconnect to the characters like old times but then AsYa dies... I was mad, I was upset and I was cranky (and I was probably on my monthlies at that as well so that didn't help at all).

However I managed to cry it out and gave the show another chance with the Sanam and Seher story. Not gonna lie I still liked the idea of the show, of the twins finding their way back to each other and extracting revenge for their murdered parents. But it didn't go as I had hoped.

The biggest factor about Qubool Hai season 2 is that a lot of the situations are not realistic, I mean I get that we humans are dumb but come on...seriously, we're not that bad. Right? Anyways my point is that they made the protagonists look dumb and gave way too much screen time to Tanveer which just boiled my anger all the more.

So finally after 2 years, I kind of just lot interest but I kept myself updated daily, and still no improvements, the show just kept on getting weirder and more and more unusual as the the weeks go on, I mean... Ahil and Sanam have no common sense, Ahil follows his Ammi around like a lost puppy with a broken leg and a patch eye, I honestly thought that Tanveer was Satan in a female body for a couple of days, the only people I actually liked on the show were SeHan who actually showed signs of having guts and standing up to people at some points of the show.

New Sanam comes along, Rehan dies, Tanveer dies, SaHil is reunited then broken again, Sanam and Seher are separated, Sanam loses her memory and ends up in Pakistan (my home town...yahhh!!!!) and now at this point I wonder what I'm doing with my life.

Basically if the show had taken a different route, a route where the characters actually had a brain I still would have loved to watch it. But now I'm just done.

It's sad to realize how many viewers the show has lost over time because I feel extremely bad for Surbhi. I feel like the only outcome to the new Qubool Hai was seeing Surbhi's dedication as an actor, she has progressed so much over time and I am simply fascinated by the girl who has stuck by the show through thick and thin when other actors were leaving. I mean she did an amazing job as Zoya, then she successfully managed to play two roles at once and now she's Jannat. Her characters have gone through so many personality changes but her acting has only gotten better. I mean she is doing such an amazing job considering this is her first show. I really hope when Qubool Hai ends she jumps into another show quickly because I would love to see her in a different point of view.

I'm probably not gonna get any reads on this... But if people do happen to read it please let me know what you thought about my rant, I don't mind any hate, let yourself run free.

Any recommendations of shows please let me know because I have nothing better to do with my life? I watch both American and Indian shows or even any Pakistani dramas you know of please let mew know

Thank you to anyone who took the time out to read:) #AsYaForever #LuvUSurbhi

Among all the craps, some good things,a lot of story, character changes...one thing remained still ..that surbhi, her acting, her charm...

Really a nice actress... Wish her all the best!...

first of all season 1 and season 2 are very different... and they can't be compared ...season 1 was more of a romantic comedy and season 2 was mainly a revenge drama...

the main downfall of season 2 actually started once the revenge drama came into the prime focus and the vamps tally was increasing day by day with billo, raziya and later on sanam2...but before the revenge saga kicked on the first 5 months of qh 2 was very gripping ..(don't know you have seen the first 5 months or not)...

and sJ and Amrapalli both are still sticking with these show because they are the one who benefits from this show, they are the one who gets the more screen space ,and story revolves around them only and no matter what happened they are not sidelined at any cost and thats the real reason they are still sticking with this show...

Agree that Season 1 was great. I was a fan of it, and it hooked me, even when I was initially determined not to watch another 4 Lions show after IPKKND, and the drama that happened there. Either ways, I did, and I loved QH and stayed with it till Zoyaan. Then I just got angry coz this was ASYA's like 3rd marriage attempt, and I just felt tired. But 2months later, I decided to catch up again and did. Since then I stuck to the show. Even through Vikrant leaving, KSG quitting drama, Mohit Segal joining, RV joining etc. So I was a true fan clearly! :)

Then ASYA died and it was just horrible. But I thought I will just watch Season 2 out of curiosity. Initially I didn't even know what I thought of it, just was impressed with Sanam, and reluctantly drawn in by Aahil and then Rehan. So kept watching. Initial 5 months of the show? Very good. Very fast paced. Even Tanveer was tolerable. Then Seher came and things got more interesting and funny! Then suddenly the 1 year extension was given and down the plug hole it went. Twin swap (popularly known as AHER), Con Nikah of Aahil with Sanam2, then the endless revenge drama, just took it's toll. The story went downhill where Sanam and Aahil were victims and only Seher and Rehan were tolerable. Black magic joined and Tanveer got her eyesight back! The WHOLE show was all about Tanveer. She got 75% of the screen space! Then to top it all off, they killed Rehan! Then Tanveer also got killed, by Zoya's ghost! Dont even ask! LOL

SAHIL reunite. Seher decides to leave town. Sanam 2 is asked to leave, and divorce docs are drawn. But in the meantime she plays her last card, sells Seher to traffickers, gets both sisters in trouble and separate them. One goes missing and other lands in Pak! Wont even go into what happens after that!

QH started off as a family drama with a RomCom feel to it. It was very well executed at the start. Maybe the story only started to go haywire around the 9 month point. Major blow was Zoyaan. That was part of the story, and they should have introduced it at the mid point, not waited that long. They waited too long, and when they reverted to their original synopsis, people rejected it. THAT is the problem with 4 Lions. They drag and they waste time! This show's major issues started when they started to glorify Vamps too much. SJ and AMG are the only people who have consistent screen space.Everyone else becomes superfluous at some point! I agree SJ is a good actress and has really done a good job in her numerous avatars! But the show has also served her well! Same goes for Amara as well. But everyone else? Well they are ALL fair game and so are their characters!

Since KV came back, I have decided to give this show one LAST chance. Coz even I had stopped watching, coz I was fed up of being trolled. But this is most probably my LAST 4 Lions show. I dont think I can sit through another one! #ThisIsIt!

Completely second you on this!

Sigh, the good ol' days!

I began to watch Season 2 with zero expectations but it somehow managed to hold my attention. I loved SeHaan and decided to quit watching the show after Rehaan died. But the Pakistan story seemed interesting and I continued watching for Shaad. The last few episodes have left me confused and am unable to understand where is this story heading? 😕

Nevertheless, here's hoping the show ends on a good note and the actors who have dedicatedly worked hard to keep this show going find better projects to work in.

I tried to watch a few other Hindi tv shows as well as some Pakistani ones but none managed to hold my attention for long. Zindagi Gulzar Hai being the only exception.

I think for some of the viewers, the main issue is that they try to look for Asad and Zoya type of characters in the main leads of Season2 while the reality is that S2 was a different story with different type of characters for main leads...

If viewers had not watched S2 from the beginning then it would be difficult to connect with the main story being told here because the story revolved around the male lead's character sketch and family being tied down to Tanveer and her pivotal role in shaping up the male leads character.

If you didn't get that background then you won't get the dynamics shown between Ahil and Tanveer (his stepmom)...
Even the revenge drama being told was still firmly tied to Ahil and his character, so to connect with the story that background about Ahil is vital...

While S1 was a family drama cum romcom, S2 was basically a love story for the first 7 months or so and that's what the new audience who freshly tuned into S2 were looking for...
But then with the introduction of the twin it became clear revenge drama would make a big part of the story from then on as well...which was still fine...

I understand that some of the S1 audience stuck through S2 too from the very beginning and that's why they are able to see this story as a different one and don't feel the need for comparisons but can still enjoy both or "suffer" through it for what it was....

Some only joined with the introduction of Seher and completely missed out on the development of Ahil and Sanam's story so its no surprise that they can't understand Ahil's character or Sahil story or would want to root for Sahil, seeing all that they were made to go through by the cvs...

Even S1 had it's share of butchering of the story and characters but still people invested in the overall drama or the couple watched it till the bitter end.

Similarly S2 went through a fair amount of messing with the story and characters and actually WAY more than S1 when it came to Sahil...the couple the main story revolved around, even if the male lead Ahil was reduced down to a prop from the time the revenge drama commenced.

Again some who stuck through S2 from the beginning and even came to like Sahil left the minute cvs started butchering their story with the swap. They were done with it and ready to give up...(just like some left S1 with zoyan or when KSG left).

Some even hardcore Sahil fans left with the swap drama and others who stuck till the end of the swap also left when the makers decided to postpone twin revelation to Ahil and instead got him conned into a second marriage...

Others like me still hanged in there because we are too invested in the character Ahil, Sahil or the main story of Qubool hai and wanted a closure to the story...
Then S3 was introduced and we were promised that the new story would focus on Sahil with a love triangle...

However KV was not prepared to go through more of being made of a prop and a weakling under the spell of a witch, the very thing those who are against Ahil bring up to say they can't connect with Ahil anymore...
And thus cannot connect with Sahil anymore (for those who liked Sahil before) and others who never did since they didn't watch S2 from the beginning.

Surprisingly though many professed to understand KV's stand here, I guess they didn't expect that the PH and the channel would indulge KVs requests for his character to be revamped since they have come to like the side story which was progressing between amnesic Sanam and Shaad (the third angle in Sahil).😆

For people like us, we still want that closure for Sahil and I personally kind of hope that they don't drag their story anymore and finish it off within a month or so, by giving the focus it deserved.
