I think the point was to leap the story and show Sanam with another identity in Pak. Then maybe as a quick back story, they could have shown how she landed up with Shaad. But instead, they tried to do Romcom style drama and use ASYA BG and try to suck people in, when the story itself was VERY weak! I mean, Sanam is in delusion about her true life, and they were just going to keep showing random scenes in Pak, Misbah and SK stuff, and at the same time Aahil with Sanam 2 being conned, and drag it for months!
So I think KV must have thought "what is the point?" the story is not moving at all. They could have made this track really good if they made it crisp and stuck to the point. But that is a skill 4 Lions lack and they always go off on "tangents". I have seen them do this in ALL their shows. So I know they have the tendency to drag, and by the time they decide to come to the point, half the cast and audience has quit as well. Happened in IPK to some extent, but fortunately it was salvaged before it went down the drain totally. Happened with ARJUN and even with QH with the "Abbu truth" and also ASYA marriage getting cancelled like 5 times!
Finally I see Jannat asking pertinent questions, and also calling what she has "Yadasht Chali Jana" and not "Bhoolneki Bimari" as she did before. FINALLY they are showing her voicing and showing the frustration felt by someone who cant remember their past! Most people even loose their mental stability. A few people who have worked with amnesia patience told me that usually it takes work even to convince them their "Mother" is their Mother. SO the way J was acting, all casual and dismissing the whole thing as "Bhoolneki Bimari" and quite easily accepting Shaad was not realistic. They have already done the damage, so now they cant show her suddenly being cold with Shaad. But they have at least shown her asking him about her old life. Which is what we all said the whole time. At least make it a bit more real.
I think Aahil is going to be MIA for some time, and then they will decide if they bring back KV and do a SAHIL reunion, or actually get someone else to play Aahil and take over the role! The makers messed up the whole thing, and now they have to think on their feet! The issue here is that Aahil knows about Sanam 2, that she is a Witch. So what will she do with him now? He can no longer be fooled by her! Remains to be seen. But we know she does go to Pak to try and kill Sanam.
