Reasons why I think it's true:

- The new male entry.. story looks like it's shifting focus towards Sanam and a new lead

- Teejay said a while back that KV was supposed to start shooting for a movie in March

- There's quotes in the article

Reasons why I think it's false:

- Not the most reliable source... TOI or TC would've/should've been first to announce it

- KV said that season 3 will be focused on SaHil

- urlremoved article said that the leads in season 3 will be Surbhi & Karanvir

- Didn't KV say once somewhere that he would never quit a show?

You know it's the fate of the characters he plays that he never got his lady love ever.

He never got Mukti(KZK) He never got Jahnvi(Saubhagyavati) and now he might not be getting Sanam too.

Haha! I blame Sanam 2. She must've accidently cast some black magic spell on Karanvir instead of Aahil 😆

(and he had 2 chances in KZK... Mukti and Devki, he didn't get either 😆 ... right? I don't know if Devki ever came back..)

I'd like to be positive... but until KV says something we have no clue.

If KV was leaving.. one begs the thought that SaHil could've just died together happily ever after and continued the story with Seher and new guy couldn't they?

quotes can be made by anyone! And about that March thing Teejay said at same time he will be managing both😕 only 1st one seems point for being true
