I agree with you in the shouting match, and also rescuing someone who doesn't want or rather know he should be rescued. The best thing to do was for Rehan and Sanam to sit him down once Rehan's truth came out and tell him. Whether he believes it or not is on him. But I don't blame Rehan and Sanam for not thinking of this. In hindsight though it would have been much better.
Disagree that if he were to learn the truth after her death or during, he would blame them for taking her away from him. I mean if he believes it or sees for himself that it's the truth.
Agreed SaHil need separation, but not because I blame him for his lack of clarity, but because too much has happened and it really isn't worth it right now.

The Sulaiman testimony is actually a weak spot in the story. Because Tanveer did go to jail. The story writes his discrepancy with the testimony as if Tanveer hadn't gone to jail. All that needed to be said was he was first convinced by Tanveer to lie, but then he recanted. In fact, that's one of the reasons why Aahil wouldn't suspect Tanveer just on the basis of the changing of testimony.
