The updates are going fantastic. Totally intriguing.
I initially thought Zak to be that 3rd friend who'd create rifts between Asya. Thats what any 3rd frnds have done to me. Teen tigaada kaam bigaada. 😆
But that guy is a knight in shining armour for both his friends. Totally lovable. Hard to dislike even an ounce.
1 more thing what I felt initially was, that Zak would eventually make a love triangle between Asya. Yet again, you've proved me wrong.
Well that's the freshness of your story. NO REPEATED CONCEPTS REPEATED AGAIN. Totally loved it lady!
Zoya's dadi is playing that mother-figure role not only in Zoya's life, but also in both the boys' life. Wonder, if she knows how Asad manages to live in his Chacha-chachi's house.
Wish she could take him in along with Zoya. But right! No mother would want an outside boy to come and live in her house, with a young growing girl at home, no matter if that girl is that boy's best friend.
Razia is showing what she really is. Fulfilling her role rightly. Of a careless pathetic guardian to the orphaned nephew, treating him as good as burden and a store-room stuff.
Though Chacha still has not come into view. Is he the same insensitive lot of a human like his wife, or does hold some tinge of sympathy for his poor nephew?
Next, talking about Zak's family. Child living on his parent's wealth, but not on their love. Someone has rightly said- ''If you want to spend the best on your child, spend your time with them. They'd be the wealthiest...''
Zak misses that wealthiness. He has all money in the world, yet he seeks that love, that he finds in his Mistress and Zoya's Dadi. Well, he's trying to make some of his wealth. A real well behaved boy, loving and caring. As much as he could do.
Though in the start I was unable to understand your title with the context of your story.
Then after that Cornetto and Mango tree incident, I thought maybe you were trying to show contrast between Asad and Zoya, like how Asad is a selfish, thinks of himself and things around him; n Zoya a selfless, who loves Asad with all her might. And Zak's entry will bring in that angle of Zoya getting close with Zak, making Asad realise his selfishness, not encashing the opportunity of getting the love from his best friend.
Yet again, I think I was thinking in the wrong direction. Now what I am thinking is, that may be you are trying to show the contrast between Zak's parents', Asad's guardians and Zoya's dadi. Though all the 3 of them are growing Parentless, yet Zoya has that one person that makes hers and her friends' lives bright.
Do let me know Fari, what point of view yours is. I have already given my speculations. 😆
I have missed to talk about our beloved Asad. This guy, It took me the longest to understand him man! Sometime he would prove to be the bestest friend Zoya can even get. Caring, protective, and loving. Yet he keeps something inside him to himself only, keeping Zoya away from some of his inner thoughts and miseries. Though circumstances have been bad and cruel for all the 3 kids here, but they have effected the worst in Asad's case. There was no one to protect his innocence at the right time, to save him grow at the correct age. He has overgrown himself mentally and emotionally.
Though in the Cornetto incident, I think, it was not the case of not sharing, it was the case of unfulfilled desires. Desire to have one icecream for himself, instead of getting a share from Zoya's. Zoya must have had plenty of those icecreams that she must have had for herself, whereas, Asad must have starved for that one cone of relishness. He doesn't seems selfish that much, more than he seems hungry of unfulfilled desires.
Mango incident also I think he doesn't want to accept his feelings infront of Zoya until he can stand on his feet and capable of having Zoya as his life partner. The insecurity of life stops him. That is what he did in the last update, when he mindlessly said he wud drown for Zoya, and them immediately covered that up, to not let Zoya get awed and have ideas in that direction.
Dunno how rite I'm. Thats my POV.
Now you tell me, is this story going to revolve around only their teenage, or is it going to progress into their 20's and adult life, just in case their love too?
