As you know QH got warning from BCCC to run an apology scroll today during QH airtime for showing excessive violence? Do you think running an apology scroll is enough?
This not the first time.. QH too got warning last year for excessive violence against women. This time too they got warning for excessive violence by Billi. Interestingly all of Billi's crimes and antics are offending and disgusting to say the less. Now adding Sanam2 RaFa to the list. I mean eww who watches & supports those pathetic violence. I am glad to the person whoever registered the complain.
But i am certainly disappointed by BCCC coz Gul & channel cant get away with just an apology scroll. They deserve to be FINED to the amount of profit per episode for showing those violence again and again. Its clear CVs do not feel responsible towards its viewers. They are obviously glorifying domestic violence here making leads mere doormats where negative character gets away with their every cheap & disgusting acts.

I know its just a show but let me tell you There's something called "Corporate Social Responsibility" where QH CVs are failing miserably to meet people's expectation. Zee tv might perform CSR activity with other activities like Ummed-e-Kashmir or other but Gul/4lions always showing domestic violence. I cant believe they were promoting awareness with Zoya-Rajveer track calling it "Social Issue" & QH is the same show where they are glorifying women violence & illegal marriages again and again. There's nothing to defend. So IMO Gul/zee deserves to be fined with profits/High amounts or BANNED for such actions. Coz an apology scroll is never enough. How many of you read scrolls?
What do you think? Does not this get them a chance to cross limits again as they are getting away with this so easily. I respect The viewers who watches QH during their dinner time & i respect further that they are giving a damn for such cheapness by registering complain coz dinner time age group is different. This disgusting antics by Billi & Co do not suit any time slot.

In one word? NO! It is not enough. This show for the past 2.5 years has shown violence against females, senior citizens and also violence in general. (Many murder plots by Razia and Tanveer).

To add to that, it has shown morally ambiguous plots like Fake SR, polygamy, witchcraft and the Haya story line with two men. To top all that, the humiliation of females as well. Slap for Zoya, many humiliating and cheap talks RE Dilshaad by Razia, sometimes in public.

Then Season 2 they have shown Aahil getting married illegally and then them all acting like the marriage is legal. (I have been told in Islam, the consent of the first wife is needed to marry again!). Also, they show a women being treated as a servant in her OWN home. Atiyachar by In laws to both Sanam and then Season 1 Nikhat. Murder attempts on both by in laws.

So no. ONE apology scroll wont compensate for all that!

I've said it before. Will say it again.
Repeat offences should entail higher punishments.

So, the idea that goes out is that show anything and then scroll an apology later.
For God's sake it airs at prime time. polygamy, murder plot, voodoo, black magic, fake sr, ...

But then you said it and I Could'nt agree more.

This disgusting antics by Billi & Co do not suit any time slot.

CSR - Are channels and PH are bound by CSR?
Movies too tend to go overboard. using this ex, since both fall under entertainment industry.
But there should be list of acceptable do's and don'ts for each time slot. Again that is a call that channel has to take.

Totally agreed. My mother and I stopped watching Qubool hai since last September (mostly because I couldn't take the crap anymore and also because 4Lions have a new show now which is on now unfortunately following the same track🤢) but I again started watching recently and now lost it again!😕
I don't understand indian television promoting such violence against women. They keep on proving that we are inferior species that have a strong tolerance power no matter how much crap we can go through. 🤔 They should just end it already if they continue such ignorance. I have a guilty pleasure too but I take only so far. 🤔 I don't understand why is Ahil being so blind and why should Sanam keep proving that she is the victim not the culprit. It is just purely sad. 😭😭😭

Indian tv is based on trp. The infinite you can drag a show it will ensure makers n channels profit.. so they forget the right thing to earn money only :/

Running an apology scroll is a joke. It happens after both Zee& 4Lions have made money out of offending episodes and unsuspecting viewers have consumed the crap that was dished out. The upsetting visuals reach wider audience (read children and the illiterates) than a fast moving writeup at the bottom, that's easy to overlook.

Zee is a prime promoter of violence against women. They showed women ploughing the field in place of farm animals in their previous shows. Most of their female leads are doormats who suffer in silence. QH is no exception.

QH's CVs can't seem to think beyond violence and vulgarity for twists. This team is a repeat offender and from the looks of it, they'll continue with their destructive ways unless some punitive measures are taken by regulating bodies to enforce certain standards.
