Ok guys this is slightly controversial though for me it was emotional. I am a hardcore SaHil fans but for me both couples are endearing and equally important to the story. Idk how everyone will take this OS but this idea has been in my mind for a while. If you don't like Seher or Aahil please refrain from bashing as others do like them. Just read it as a story lol Anyway I would love and appreciate feedback on this one just like everything else I write. You can even say that you don't like the concept but please try to keep things away from insulting either character. Enjoy!!!

Background: This takes place a few days after Tanveer has been arrested. I know we want her to die but in this situation, things would have been even more depressing had she died so I let it be. She has been taken to Azkaban, far far away lol Chidiya has been sent to Pune to undergo training in a factory so she could fend for herself. Aahil had given her a huge amount of money and secured her future. She was happy to let the guilt off her shoulder. She has no intentions to come back. The truth about the twins, the swap, SeHan, Haya-Rehan's relationship, everything has been revealed. There are no secrets left. Sanam has left IM. No one, not even Seher knows where she has gone. Rehan and Haya couldn't be more happier to discover their relationship. But they all miss Sanam. Aahil called the lawyer and had his half of the property transferred to Rehan despite his protests. The procedures are going on. Under the pretext of working on a new project proposal, Aahil stays locked up in his room all day. No amount of coaxing can being him out. He is still reeling under the shock of what his Ammi has done and the fact that Sanam has left him. He awaits her return and wishes to ask for forgiveness.

That afternoon...

Seher walked down the corridors of Ibrahim Mansions. Her thoughts were distracting her. Ever since Sanam left, she could not sit in peace. Rehan had tried to cheer her up many times but for some reason the fact that her twin was not near her unnerved her greatly. This house once again felt alien without Sanam's presence. Rehan had promised her that he would find Sanam no matter what yet Seher could not stop blaming herself. She herself had a huge hand in this mess. No matter how much Rehan and Sanam had assured her that she didnt, she knew that she did. They had forgiven her a long time ago, but one person had not. Perhaps because he was the one hurt the most by all these revelations. She had wronged him as much as she had wronged her sister. She had cheated him and mocked his love for his wife. Seher chuckled bitterly. There was a time when she had made fun of Aahil's love for his wife. "Koi aapne biwi se itni mohabbat kaisa kar sakhta hai." She made fun of him not knowing that the lucky girl to have such a loving husband was her own sister! She had a role in breaking the trust that was delicatly growing between them and allowed Tanveer to play even more games. Even though it was all now over, there was still much left to do. As Seher rounded a corner she heard voices speaking softly. She passed the doorway to Aahil and Sanam's room and the sight before her stand to the spot.

Aahil was sitting on the floor leaning against the bed with his laptop and Haya sat next to him comforting him. He had not spoken to anyone but whenever Haya came over these last few days, he would always talk to her. She would always manage to get him to eat and talk with her. Haya told Seher that Aahil treated her like his own sister. She loved him a lot and that he was the best jiju ever! He was almost like a father figure in her life. Something she was missing all along. Seher had felt a strange disappointment and hurt inside of her when she heard Haya's words. Aahil would never view her that way! She was also Sanam's sister and his sister-in-law. But Haya had never cheated him! She never played with his emotions! She didn't make him feel like he had lost the love of his life! She had kept the purity of their relationship, Seher had not.

Another fact was that she looked just like Sanam. Rehan had told her politely not to go near Aahil's room as seeing her might upset him more. But she couldn't stop herself. The man she had seen so happy and loving was now completely silent. He would sit in the dark and not interact with anyone. Seher knew that there was no proposal he was working on. He was hiding his pain. From the world! From his family. From everyone! When she had heard him cry quietly two nights ago, she had felt her own tears rolling down her cheeks. She ran back to her room to find Rehan waiting for her. She didn't tell him anything but hid her face in jacket and cried. She cried into his chest until he soothed her. He had figured that she was just stressed out. But from losing her sister to seeing all the depression around her had broken her. She just wanted to make it all right again!

"Aahil jiju dekhiye maine khud khana banaya hai aapke liye. I am not the best cook around but I got up extra early to cook for you. I left Rahat at home waiting just so I could come here. I havnt eaten either! Now no more excuses! You have to eat. You have no been eating properly for the past few days! Please jiju!" Haya's voice jerked Seher away from her thoughts. She looked silently at them.

Aahil gave Haya a small smile. "Haya please I am not hungry. I promise I will eat later. I have to work a little on the project and then I will eat. Why don't you go see what Rahat needs. Bechara is waiting for u."

But Haya refused to relent. Seher watched their interaction somewhere wishing she could join them. All her life she had heard that a jiju saali relationship was special. A brother-in-law could be like a father figure, a brother and a best friend. Someone to tease, crack jokes and share funny stories with. But unfortunately she had ruined their relationship even before it started. Seher watched Haya walk to the table and serve two plates. She walked back and forced Aahil to take one. She closed his laptop and placed it on the bed. Aahil was fiddling with his food. Seher knew that feeling. She hardly felt any appetite these days. She just felt sick and tired. Haya started to encourage Aahil to eat. Soon they were engaged in a conversation and Haya had managed to get Aahil to eat an entire meal with her. Haya was an amazing sister. Whether it was to Sanam, Rehan, Aahil or Seher herself. Of only she could be the same. She watched as Haya cracked a few jokes about Rahat and herself making Aahil laugh along with her. Seher smiled watching their interaction. Atleast thing were improving. But she would probably never get to enjoy such a relationship with her brother-in-law. She knew how to make people laugh but here she had caused her loved ones so much pain.

As she walked away from the room, she looked up to see Rehan walk towards her. "Rehan I know you said not to. But I want to apologize to him! I had promised Sanam I would fix everything but I couldn't! I failed Rehan! I don't even know where my sister is! I want Sanam to come back! I want Aahil and her to be together! I have seen how much he loves her! Rehan they need each other!"

"Shh... Seher I promised you! I have told everyone I know. We will find her soon! She left because she felt it was necessary. Still I will find her. We both can go speak to her. The rest they have to fix by themselves. I just want to make sure Sanam is safe! After that, its her choice Seher. We cant force anything. But I promise you I will try to fix everything and things will get better. As for Aahil bhai, give him some time. He will be fine. Now please smile. I want that same Sunehri who made me laugh all the time." Rehan tickled her until she started to giggle. As that walked away, Seher decided there was something she wanted to do, not matter what!

Later that evening...

Seher took a deep breath and knocked on the door softly. Aahil looked up from where he was sitting on the floor leaning against the bed. There was a sudden hopeful look in his eyes until realization dawned upon him and his eyes quickly turned blank. He quickly wiped his face with back of his hands and looked at the wall in front of him. The light that shone from the wall made it clear that he was holding a picture frame in his hand. He placed it on the table and pulled his legs up to his chest. This was the first time she came directly infront of him since that day. Seher didn't know what to say.

"Do you need something?" He asked in a neutral tone that was much different from how he spoke to Haya.

"I--I wanted to speak to you." She tried to calm herself. Aahil nodded slowly and motioned for her to sit on the couch. He still didn't look at her. He just kept staring at the wall in front of him as if ot had some answers for him.

"Well?" He said after a few minutes of silence.

I just--- I-- I wanted to apologize-- for everything!" Seher suddenly broke down in tears. Her words were barely audible. She was usually not one to cry but suddenly all that she had held in came rushing out. She started to let out small sobs. Only Rehan amd her sister had seen her cry like this. She realized how much she missed Sanam. Seher quickly covered her face with her palms. This was embarrassing! She should not have come here. She uncovered her face when she felt something against her hands. She looked at the tissue box and then the man holding it.

"Here take this. Wipe your tears." He handed her the tissue box and went back to take his spot by the bed.

"I am so sorry! I don't know what else to say! There is no forgiveness for what I have done but still I wanted to apologize." She said while wiping her eyes.

"Its ok Seher. You didnt know. If you did, you would not have done this. If those close to me can betray me, then why not a stranger. My mother betrayed me, compared to that you have done nothing. Its fine." She looked up at him.

She could not see his eyes nor read his emotions. But his voice told her one thing.

"No you have not forgiven me! I cant believe I did this to my own sister! I ruined everything! If I had not taken her place, things would never have been so bad! I messed it all up! Now she is gone! I dont know how to fix it. I want to bring her back! This is all wrong! I have no idea how and when I became such a greedy and cruel person!" Seher said as she again wiped her face with the tissue.

"Circumstances Seher. They change people." Aahil spoke up after a few seconds. Seher sniffled trying to keep herself together.

"Take me for example. If you had met me a few months back, you would have seen an entirely different man. You would have despised me. Remember how the laadoo challenge shocked you. Now when I think back to that moment, when I told you, not Sanam, your reaction makes sense. You had no idea why it happened but the idea itself sounded crazy to you. No wonder! " Aahil gave a small chuckle.

"I had made her do so many stupid challenges. Just to prove that I was a bad person, one who was stronger and more powerful than her! I was arrogant and cruel myself. Drinking, spending nights with various women and throwing money everywhere was all I did. A rich spoilt brat! Not the man you would want your sister with. It was an image I created to show the world how bad I could be. I wanted to punish myself for the sins that I had thought I had committed. I myself didn't know exactly how bad I had become until I met your sister. Her words, her anger, her hatred made me hate the person I was even more. I had no idea how I fell so deeply in love with her." He paused as if reminiscing those moments.

Seher shed some silent tears. She was separated from Rehan for sometime and it killed her. But here two lovers were separated for so long. They didn't deserve it at all.

"Seher I understand that you didn't have an easy childhood. Growing up alone on the streets is probably the toughest thing ever for a small child. Its strange how children have to pay for the crimes adults commit. Its not fair."

Seher knew he was not only referring to her childhood.

"I know everything about-- I understand that it wasn't easy for you either." Seher said softly.

"Trust me the same way I cant imagine your childhood, you cant imagine mine. We have to live it to know it. I have spent cold nights with pain and hunger despite living in such a huge mansion. It had destroyed me on the inside. It was a past that had refused to leave me until Sanam came along. She freed me Seher. She is one strong woman. No one can possess a heart of gold like her."

"Ask me. I have her face but her attributes and qualities are so special. I can never be like her."

"You cant. Because your an entirely different person. Trust me I would be the biggest hypocrite if I held what you did against you. While it hurts like hell to have her away from me, I cant blame you. Its unfortunate that you had to live your childhood the way you did. It made you into a person that you didn't want to be. I understand that really well. Your her sister and she loves you dearly. She has forgiven you Seher, so have I. I just want her back thats all." For the first time he looked up at her. Seher could see the honestly in his eyes.

"Actually I should apologize for what I did. I couldn't tell the woman I loved from another that looked just like her. You guys are so different. I don't know how I couldn't tell. I made things a lot harder for you. If I had known, I obviously would not have acted that way either. It makes me feel guilty when I think that I had said all those things that were meant for her, to you. I cant even imagine doing that to Haya. But I did it to you. It was all a very messed up situation. Its best that we all move on."

"So you really don't hate me?" Seher asked slowly. She knew he meant everything he said but she wanted hear it from him.

"How can I? Your also my sister-in-law. That doesn't change no matter what." He got up and looked at her. Seher felt as if a burden had been lifted from her chest. It felt good.

Seher got up excitedly as Aahil flinched backwards slightly shocked at her outburst.

"Don't stomp on my feet again. If you do, I might just take back the maafi I gave you."

Seher wiped her face and gave him a smile. "I promise!" For the first time Aahil smiled at her.

Aahil had no idea how he could not tell these sister apart! Seher was always quick on her feet while Sanam was graceful. It was very clear to tell which Khan sister was which. Thinking about Sanam made his heart clench. He tried to focus on the twin before him. He had been angry with her. But he had to forgive her. Somehow he understood why she acted the way she did. He himself had done so many things in life that he regretted. His childhood had turned him into a monster. But if he could change and bring out the best in him, so could Seher. He needed to give her a chance. He knew Sanam would want him to do this. So he did. He forgave her and he meant it.

Aahil saw Seher's eyes shine once he forgave her. At least some of the mess had been sorted.

As Seher turned to leave, he spoke, "Don't worry I am looking for her. I have told everyone I know to inform me if they see her anywhere." He had no idea why he said that yet he felt the need to.

She turned around and gave him a surprised look.

"What did you think? I would just sit here and wait. Nope! I want her back Seher. I just needed time, to figure everything out and get a hold of myself. Its not been easy at all! Every minute is painful. But I cant possibly go look for her everywhere. Once I get the slightest news about her, I promise I will go. I will bring her back." He sighed as her thoughts came crashing again. He needed her more than ever. He just did.

Seher looked at him, clearly overwhelmed with what she heard. Aahil felt a strange happiness tug at him when he saw that. He knew that now he had another sister in his life along with Haya. No matter what she did in the past, he had to forget it all and make her a part of their future.

"I hope you find her soon!" She whispered. She smiled and turned.

"Seher?" She turned around again.

"I have a huge headache. Can you tell Latif to make me some coffee?"

"Why Latif I can make it!" Seher said beaming at him.

"Are you sure? I mean you know how to cook?"

"I may not know how to cook like your wifey but I can make coffee ok!" Seher said rolling her eyes.

Aahil bit back a smile and replied, " I truly hope you can otherwise bechare Rehan miya will have to attend cooking classes himself."

Seher narrowed her eyes and huffed away. "Don't put too much sugar!"

"Okay Jijaji!" She said stressing each syllable. Aahil chuckled softly. So she finally called him that! She was funny. His little brother would have quite an entertaining life with this one.

That night...

Aahil moved the curtains on the side of his room, revealing the small window behind it. He looked up at the moon. "I have forgiven her Sanam. Now come back home. I want you back Miss Dhabevaali. I need you. Please come back. Your Jallad Jin needs you!" He said as a tear silently came down his cheek.

He knew that somewhere she was missing him too. Aahil Raza Ibrahim was not going to do anything until he found his wife Sanam Aahil Raza Ibrahim. He would find her, not matter where she was!

The End...

Such a lovely sentimental OS... I loved it...!

I loved the way you wrote Haya and Aahil's relationship. So heartwarming. ..

And Seher reaching out to pining Aahil, who wants Sanam back. And Aahil not being Jalladh about her, her forgave her, as though nothing matters but Sanam coming back to him. ..

You squeezed my heart with this one.
Beautiful!

beautifully done. the bloodthirsty part of me might want more suffering on Seher's part, but the mature side me says why should aahil hold on to a grudge when he has more important things to do, like finding sanam.
