This is a appreciation post for Shehzad Shaikh aka Rehan Imran Qureshi... Who made us love & adore Rehan...
Rehan has been very mature, understanding & selfless character from the very begining. Though we had always doubt Rehan might turn negative now and then... But that never happened... CV had beautifully maintained the consistency in Rehan's characterization till last episode... That is why i love Rehan despite his parentage coz childs are not responsible for their parents sins...
First time when i loved Rehan truely was when he found out Ahil's feelings for Sanam & he left house to move on in his life... This made me respect him much more... Instead of turning psycho lover... He let his confused brother to go for his love lol... That was the end of Rehans character for me... coz i thought he would later return as grey/negative character... but that never happened... i thank CV so much for that... 😛
After Sunehri's entry... Everything is history... Rehan found his true love in Sunehri not becoz she is Sanam's lookalike/twin but her personality... beautiful & loveable personality is what made Rehan fall in love with Sunehri/Seher... They had such a beautiful journey... Not any forced track to make them fall in love... Their respect in each other... Their trust made them stronger & together...
Rehan's character had always been intentionally/Unintentionally been sidelined by CV... They never had any particular track on him... Even now also... But he managed to outshine every character since last three episode with his beautiful character... A mature & relatable character made us love Rehan like never before... Getting back his Sunehri... Telling her the truth... all these made Rehan's character BEST among all other... He is the STAR... Sanam's character is very mature but he is going through heartbreak & cv is weakening her character... either way Rehan takes the cake... Rehan has long way to go... want CV to at least maintain consistency 😛
Shehzad Shaikh---- This man has come a long way... Still long way to go... Nothing much to say other than... I am impressed with his improvement... Shehzad has the tendency to perform & improve which is very key for any actor... God bless Shehzad... He will surely do much better if he is given right opportunity like the current track... Shehzad Shaikh is a rising star... I really wish him best luck for his career ahead...

Agree !! I am currently watching this show only for Rehaan and Seher.
I am a silent reader on this forum as i know that people here are not very fond of them.
Anyway I hope there would be more screen place for Sehan because it's tiring to watch Ahil "ammi is my god", Tanveer's crap, Kalu Kala very odd behaviour, and RaHaFa nonsense !!
In fact only Rehaan and Sunheri are realistic !

He has really improved no doubt,and has a long way to go too! :) I liked that he has finally took up a stand and is going with his heart and atleast telling to someone, his truth!

I pretty much agree with all your points to some extent.

But as for your PS. A character is as important as the actor playing it. A great actor can make an average character feel like he is living the character.

Its not about "droolworthy body", "intense eyes" "6 packs" and "manly face" like you have put. Its about the charm an actor spreads when he is on screen, these things are just the cherries on the top.

And since this is a fictional world. If you can't find a hot bod guy then you also can't find a goody goody shoes in real lives. A character is all bout the layers that character possessess.

Thats why its called fictional world I guess? Coz you can't get them in reality!

Anyway, nice post. I wish the best for his future and career.

Truely.. He doesn't need six packs abs or a manly face, intense eyes and muscular body to rock. He is loved the way he is. A cute and innocent, pretty faced sweetheart. ❤️

Initially, I liked Rehan for the character he played. How he understood Sanam, trusted her and supported her. And I liked him even more when they paired him up with Sunheri. Because, I fall for any man paired opposite Surbhi. I don't know why though. And now, in the last few episodes, he has been able to win hearts of many viewers. ❤️

And as you said, Shehzad Shaikh- He has come a long way and has a long way to go. ❤️

Agree Yaari that SS has improved a lot, Quite impressive growth.

All his scenes off late have been very impactful.

Nice post Yaari. Happy for SS fans that finally, story has something for him to do.

I agree Rehan has grown. I am also very happy they didn't turn him into some psycho like Faiz when he didn't get his love the first time around. Rehan showed a lot more maturity as he chose to move on!

We saw from what he told Sanam the other day (when he thought Suneheri was Sanam), that he wanted to BE like her coz he admired her so much! He had a lot of respect for Sanam and his feelings for her were born from that! But his feelings for Suneheri were not. He fell in love with her imperfect personality, but what he saw as her artless charm. Also, she was very outgoing and so different from him. I also appreciate the fact that after his anger cooled he wanted to give their relationship another chance DESPITE her past! So that showed his feelings were the real deal this time!

I am also glad he spoke the truth to Seher and chose to be honest with the women he loved! I think he will be a major player in this track and it is good they are using his character more effectivley. One of the FEW characters in this story right now that make sense!

I also agree with Prags that 6 pack abs have nothing to do with why we fall for someone. It is their charm. At least for me, that is what it is! I loved Aahil because of the way his character was. His edginess but mostly his vulnerability and imperfection. THAT is what I loved about him. Not his looks or hot body! That is why I know it's true love! :) KV made that possible with how he portrayed the many shades of Aahil.

As for Shezaad, he has improved a lot! He is doing more justice to the role now, but he is new and needs time to come to the level of a seasoned performer! I hope we get to see Rehan really helping the twins avenge their family, and also help Aahil see what sort of women their Mother really is!
