Hey guys this is a small OS I just wrote. I will be updating DHKMN very soon. I am just busy with finals but after that updates will be regular! Anyway many people on the forum wanted some bromance between Aahil n Rehan and my SS has that. But after reading some comments about the latest track, I decided to write this OS. The idea comes from a comment by Prags_Sociopath, if you dont mind me pointing you out. But the idea comes from your comment about seeing some scene between the bros 😉 Anyway hope u guys like it n plz do leave feedback 😊 Also look out for the next update of DHKMN as it has a SaHil scene 😉 Also if anyone has a creative title plz tell me. Its so late in NY n my brain has stopped working lol so this is a tentative title. Plz do give me some fun n creative names if u can. Enjoy!!!

Sunehri tum kaha ho! Maine har jagah dunda magar tum kahi nahi mile. Kya maine tumhe hamesh ke liye kho diya? Rehan ran his hand through his hair in frustration. He had searched so much yet he could not find Sunehri. Had he lost his only chance at love? Was this destiny trying to hint that their union was not possible? If so, why! Why couldn't they be together! He had truly loved Sunehri. From the pain in her eyes, he could tell she felt the same way. There was something special between them. Especially after talking to Sanam, he realized what Sunehri meant to him. She was much more than an infatuation. He loved her! Rehan gripped the steering wheel tightly as he thought about what to do next. Suddenly as Rehan was turning into Ibrahim Mansion he saw another car race by him. Aahil bhai's car to be certain. "Aahil bhai? Aahil bhai!" But his brother was driving too fast to hear. Rehan knew something was wrong. On instict, he turned his car around to follow his brother's car which was speeding faster by the minute. Rehan knew Aahil well enough to understand that he was upset. Whenever Aahil bhai used to be angry, frustrated or upset he would either drive his car fast or break something. Rehan had always wanted him to open up and talk but his brother found it easier to take out his frustration through actions rather than words. But lately that was changing, especially after Aahil had fallen in love with Sanam. If only he was that lucky. Rehan had planned to surprise Sanam and Aahil bhai by bringing Sunehri. He had decided to bring her back and rectify his mistake. He realized that he was too quick and harsh in judging her and wanted to hear her side of the story. But it was no use. After searching all evening and night post the wedding, he could not find her. He even went to Bappa's mandir early morning to find her. But he couldnt. Rehan sighed. Had he lost her for good? He had always been unlucky when it came to love. His Ammi's relationship with him was the biggest proof. Rehan tried to shake of the dejected feeling. Time was not over. He would search for her again. But he really had wanted to surprise his bhai and bhabhi especially since Sunehri looks so similar to Sanam. Its funny actually because sometimes he wonders if they are twins. But Sanam would have mentioned to him had she been born a twin. Its just a strange coincidence!

As Rehan followed his brother he couldnt help but wonder why his brother was frustrated. He knew Sanam and Aahil bhai sometimes fought, all couples did. But recently they hardly argued with one another. Had they gotten into an argument right after their wedding? Or was it just his imagination and Aahil bhai was just driving quickly to get to work on time? Still Rehan was confused. He had not expected his brother to go to work a day after his wedding. Especially when he loved Sanam so much. But as Aahil turned in a direction different from their office, Rehan realized that something was truly wrong. He took out his phone and realized that it was turned off. He turned it on and look at it shocked. Ten missed calls from Latif! What! Rehan quickly turned on his bluetooth and called Latif to find out exactly what happened in the one night he was gone. Talking to his mother was pointless but maybe Latif could tell him exactly what went wrong!

Ten minutes later...

Rehan made sure not to lose Aahil's car but halfway he figured where Aahil was going. Rehan was shocked out of his wits when Latif told him what had occurred. He still could not stop his racing heartbeats knowing who had done this deed. It was almost as if he had done it himself. The guilt in his heart and lump in his throat would not go away. How low could this woman fall. He could not be any more ashamed to be her son. Rehan wanted to tear that place down, bring Begum Tanveer and expose her as the cunning scheming woman in front of everyone in Bhopal. But he couldnt. She was still his mother. The woman who bore him nine months in her womb. Still how could she do this! But more importantly, where was Sanam? Did she have a valid reason for taking such a huge step? Sanam was not the type of girl to play with anyone's emotions, especially Aahil bhai's. Had his mother played a role in this as well? Rehan was sure his mother poisoned his brother's mind. Allah knows what she must have told him. Rehan was glad he decided to follow his brother. He couldnt imagine what his mental state was. Aahil was always the more implusive out of the two of them so Rehan knew he was not going to take this easy. Rehan finally screeched his car to a halt right behind his brother's. Aahil was nowhere to be seen but he knew exactly where to find his brother.

Aahil walked into the room. Dark, empty and quiet. To anyone else it would seem inhabitable but for him this was the one place where no one could bother him. No one. He closed the door behind him. He was glad the windows were shut, the curtains were drawn and no light could come inside. He didnt want light. He didnt want the sun. He didnt want any outside noise. He didnt want anything that reminded him of her. She came like a small ray of hope that lit his life and vanished, plunging him into darkness. Total darkness. As Aahil walked through the empty room he thought back to every moment he spent with her. Every smile on her lips that he thought was for him. Every twinkle in her eye that appeared real, and showed her genuine happiness. Every little moment where they valued each other's feelings, whether it was her concern for him or his passion for her. Those moments that no one else knew about. Those moments that was theirs! But no, for her it meant nothing. Nothing at all! He was the fool who fell for it. Fell for the trap so nicely laid out by her. Bring Aahil Raza Ibrahim on his knees and then ditch him. What a masterplan! But why! Why did she take advantage of his weakness, why did she use his vulnerability against him, why did she pick that one thing that had always controlled his life to use as a weapon against him. Why did she use Aahil to bring down the great ARI. He had no answers. She had left him with a cut so deep that nothing could heal it. Nothing could change the fact that she betrayed him! But he was not one of those foolish lovers. He would not cry for her. He would not wait for her. Nor would he allow this betrayal to destroy his life. He would forget her! Move past it all! Get rid of all of her memories! He would come out stronger! She used his biggest guilt, his strongest fear and his greatest insecurity against him. He would make sure to never commit the folly of showing this side of his to anyone! He had always shielded his feelings from everyone. He knew the world was full of scheming and heartless people. But somehow he had fallen in her trap. He was lured by her promise of love. He craved love all his life and when she made him feel wanted and loved, he blindly trusted her. But she never appeared so cruel, so heartless, so scheming. She had been kind hearted, compassionate and full of self respect. Even when they fought, she maintained her dignity. She was so different. So pure and so real! Even after he thought she married him for money, she proved herself as someone who valued feelings over money. She had never asked him for anything. She had been happy with him. But all this was false. The only truth was that he was the fool who fell in her trap. Aahil laughed bitterly. She was probably mocking him now by calling him the bechara who was abused by his father, the killer who hid behind his mother to escape punishment, the rich man whose heart she had broken. But she hadn't broken ARI, instead she destroyed Aahil, she finished any feelings of love and faith inside of him.

At first he couldn't not believe that Sanam would do all of this. She left on the day of their nikhah and had not contacted him since. The first thought that had crossed his mind was her safety but when Ammi had explained her plan, Aahil didn't know what to believe. The dupatta dangling from the window, her phone switched off and her behavior for the past few days could not be ignored, if she wanted to leave him, she should have just said it. Aahil flung aside a chair that was already tattered and broken. It hardly made a sound and broke further into pieces. He looked at the little pieces of wood, it reflected exactly how he felt inside. Aahil's throat constricted as his heart lurched. She should have just said it! He himself would have let her leave from the front door, she wouldn't have to bother climbing out of his house like a thief. Aahil swallowed the lump in his throat. She had run away on the day of their nikhah. That same nikhah that meant so much to him. She wanted everyone to laugh and point fingers at him. She wanted him to be weak. Despite knowing everything she wanted to give him more pain. But then why... why did she bother trying to get rid of his hurtful past? To win his trust? Or did she want to make sure that the pain she gave him would be the one to hurt the most? The pain... She had broken his trust, his dreams, him. This was one betrayal he would never forget. She used his feelings as a way to take revenge! For what? He had loved her so much yet she--- Aahil wanted to scream and shout. He wanted to block out even his own thoughts. Aahil raised a fist to punch the wall when a hand grabbed his wrist. Aahil looked up and even in the dark he could see eyes that were sincere. Instead of the pity he expected, they contained anger. For the first time he saw so much anger in his brother's eyes. "Rehan" Aahil whispered as he saw his younger brother's eyes blink back angry tears. "Your not going to hurt youself like this. Bahut ho chuka. Your not alone bhai!"

Rehan knew this place. It was the house of Aahil bhai's maternal grandmother. Even though it was old and battered, Rehan could still feel a warmth that he never felt in that big mansion that gave his mother so much pleasure. How Rehan wished that Aahil bhai Ammi had been alive! Then none of this would have happened! He felt a gnawing inside that would not go away. He always wanted to tell Aahil bhai the truth but somehow he couldn't. Rehan didn't know whether it was loyalty towards the woman who gave him his life or to protect his brother's feelings. Either way, Aahil bhai and Sanam were the ones hurt by all of this. Somewhere along the line, this was his fault as well. He knew his brother would never believe him but he still should have said the truth. He hated lies and pushed away Sunehri because of this yet he himself was living such a lie. But today, Rehan knew he couldn't tell his brother the truth. It was just not the right time. He didn't want to give his brother another shock. Not now. He may be wrong and almost weak in this decision but still he felt that he needed to wait for the current situation to come under control before saying anything about Begum Sahiba. However, the least he could do is assure Aahil bhai that he would be there no matter what! Rehan would not leave his brother alone. He would fix everything.

"Bhai Latif told me everything. Look I know your hurt and angry. But I am sure Sanam had a reason. You know better than me that she is not one to run away." Aahil thought about the times he challenged Sanam and she took it head on.

Despite not knowing how to swim she had jumped into the pool. She was fearless, and not the type to run away. But then his Ammi words flashed before him. But what if this was the plan! Her running away would make a bigger joke out of him. Make it seem like something was wrong with him! That she couldn't handle the pressure of being with a man like him!

"Rehan I saw her dupatta near the window. She used it to climb out! You really think I would make up things about her. Even I was confused when I saw that. It doesn't make any sense. Why did she do this?!! I had asked her so many times if she was sure. She could have said it once. We could have postponed or even called off the wedding." Aahil said in a shaky voice.

"I would have waited for her all my life if I had to. But now--- what has become of my life Rehan. Ammi neh yeh kyun-- ek pal mein sab badal gaya Rehan. Kuch nahi baccha. Sab khatam." Aahil sank to the floor as Rehan knelt beside him.

"Aahil bhai, please dont break down like this. You have to be strong. What happened was very wrong but you cant just accept it. You have to fight back. This nikhah is invalid. You said qubool hai to Sanam not some imposter. We can contest the nikhah but more importantly we have to find Sanam. We need answers bhai. I still don't believe she did it for revenge."

"What did she want revenge for? Those stupid challenges? Or because of the fact that I burned her dhaba? I admit I was wrong. I insulted her in ways I never should have. I let my ego get the better of me. I was never perfect and still am not! But I thought she forgave me and accepted me for who I am! I wronged her and even you Rehan. I know that was terrible but do I deserve to pay such a huge price for this?!! I had apologized to her! Many times! She forgave me too Rehan! I bought her a new dhaba. I took her there Rehan and she was so happy! I--- I tried to make everything special for her. I wanted her to be happy! How could she do this! She could have taken all my money. She could have insulted me. But this! Rehan I told her my biggest secret. I trusted her. She made me see a dream that she shattered and hurled right back at me. She mocked my feelings. She backstabbed me Rehan! Didn't she for once think how much this would hurt me! Does this mean she never cared for me? The pain Rehan--- of knowing she never loved me is even bigger than her betrayal. Rehan how could she do this!" Aahil buried his head in his hands. When he looked back up he was still looking angry and shocked.

Rehan realized his brother was still in shock and was not rationally thinking. Nothing he says will make a difference but he had to try! He couldn't let his brother make the same mistake as him! Rehan could only imagine how much it hurt! Though its true that when Sunehri had betrayed him, he was furious and somewhere inside of him was also a pain so deep that no one else would understand. But at least he had some control over the situation whereas Aahil bhai is in the hands of Begum Sahiba!

"Bhai, look you need to hold yourself together. We need to go home and relax. Then we can both go look for her. You have always given everyone second chances and here its Sanam in question. No matter what you love her! We should hear out her story," Rehan said gently.

"No! I hate her Rehan! I hate her! She made a joke of my feelings. She was cruel enough to use my fears as a tool to win me over. She played a huge game. I don't want to hear any more stories, any fake made up story. I don't even want to see her face. I will forget her. Like she never came in my life. Like she never made me fall in love. Like she never existed. I will make sure everything becomes like before!"

Aahil staggered to his feet and started to walk back towards the wall. He flung his hands animately as he repeated his words. Rehan sighed as he saw his brother break down once again. Aahil wiped his tears as he yelled "I will forget her Rehan! I will forget Sanam R-- Sanam Ahmed Khan! Its all finished! Destroyed!"

Rehan looked at his brother and knew that explaining anything to him would not help. He tried to calm down his brother but it was hardly any use. But hopefully was going to be the worst of it. Once Aahil was a bit more calm, they would have to do something. They needed answers and only one person could offer it. Sanam!

Suddenly Rehan's phone rang. "Ha Latif. Kya!!!"

Rehan looked up at Aahil who looked tired and dazed. He decided not to tell his brother anything. Otherwise it would be impossible to take him home. But he did decide to take action. This time his mother would have to face him, Rehan Imran Qureshi if she tried any more tricks. He would get to the bottom of this. He would talk to Sanam and if his mother has involvement in Sanam's disappearance, he will forget that that woman is related to him by blood. Rehan reached forward and placed a hand on Aahil's shoulder.

"Bhai Begum Sahiba has called. She needs us home right now."

"Nahi mujhe nahi jaana. You go. I don't want to see anyone. I just want to be alone."

Rehan was glad that at least Aahil was not completely listening to his mother at this point and he would make sure that from now one his mother fails in each one of her schemes. This may all be her way of securing her son's future but not at the cost of his brother's happiness. Rehan gripped Aahil's shoulder with more force this time.

"No bhai we are going home." Aahil looked at Rehan and Rehan could tell that as much as Aahil Raza Ibrahim would love to argue he was exhausted, drained emotionally and had probably not slept for many hours. Rehan knew Aahil bhai loved Sanam as much and maybe more than he loved Sunehri and even if his own love story had no destination at this point, he would make sure his brother gets his share of love, something Aahil deserved all this life!

"Rehan please, leave me alone. I-- I really don't want to go there," Aahil weakly protested.

"Bhai I have always taken you home, from clubs, parties and hotels. Lets just say its my job. Your designated chauffeur." Rehan decided to lighten the moment and gave his brother a small smile.

Aahil could see that Rehan cared. He had been so rude and selfish yet Rehan cared for him. He couldn't have gotten a more caring brother. No one came after him but Rehan found him. As much as he wanted to be away from everyone, he didn't want to be alone. It was always a terrible feeling to be alone and not be able to share with anyone. Yet throughout his life, Rehan had listened to his various tantrums, dealt with his moods and tried to keep him on track. Even now as Aahil couldn't control his emotions, Rehan was trying to make him smile. Aahil held back his tears as he reached forward and gave his brother a hug. As Rehan hugged back, Aahil felt himself relax a little. He would have to be strong, this was not the end. He couldnt give up and become weak. If he did, then she would win! He would never let that happen. She would never know what she has done! How badly she had hurt him! Aahil looked at his brother and gripped his shoulders.

"Thanks Rehan. I had forgotten that you also know of this place. I just needed a moment away from that house. But your right, I cant run away. I need to go home, especially since Ammi needs me."

Aahil saw that Rehan suddenly looked sad. "Rehan ab tumhe kya hua? Maine kaha na ke main ja raha hu na tumhare saath. You can drive theek hai." At that his younger brother smiled and Aahil somehow found the strength to go back and face the situation.

"Ok bhai. But I hope you don't get bored. Main aap ke tarah fast nahi chalata." Rehan teased as he led his brother to the car. Aahil gave his brother a small smile. No matter how terrible he felt, he didn't want Rehan to feel sad. Rehan had came all the way here to take him home and he would go. As they drove away Aahil thought about how he was suppose to go inside the house, where there were so many memories of her. Where lingered her scent, her touch, her presence. His bedroom where they had spent hours building the dream house. Those nights she held him during his nightmares. Those days when she took care of him after his accident. How would he forget all of that. He hated Sanam but her memories refused to leave. She had promised to never leave him alone. Yet she did... she left him all alone with her memories which were once the most beautiful moments of his life but now were scattered shards of glass that existed only to give him pain...

I simply adore the bond the two brothers have!!!

the sheer pain Aahil feels and him coming to the dark place was just heartbreaking... I fell in love with this.

And Rehaan showing up to support his brother. My God, I had tears in my eyes by the emotional speech by Aahil.

You should really write more, because you're really fantastic, Love! ❤️

Heyy!! Thank you so much for the PM! I know, random. But thats the fun, isn't it? 😆
You read my comment and got an idea, cool! Read my other comments too then, and so we can get more awesome "ideas" 😆

Thank you so much for mentioning me here too! Feels good! However, if you wouldn't have, it still doesn't matter. Its not like my copyright or something 😆

Anyway. Enough of blabbering. I do get carried away, ya know? When someone gives me so much importance 😆

Coming to your piece.

That was just plain awesome! Brilliance! This is writing! So so good! I mean, its like TOTAL justice for what I have thought, how the bros would be having a "bro code" or like a "bro talk" ya know? I so wanted to see the bros bonding! Just like the sisters are! thank you for this! :)

I loved that little hiding place of his and how he finds peace there, still coz its her REAL Mom's. Poor baby! :'( We never even got to see who she was! Sigh!

And the bond these two share is so so sweet! Rehan understands him so well! No one could have ever like! Or the only who has actually. well, of course till Sanam came! Still he is his shadow!

I loved everything about it. How he showed anger first, then consoled him and how Aahil finally HAD to give in! Loved that little smiles they gave! Awww!! And the brotherly hug! :')

So beautiful it was! I was busy from some days, so replying now only! Thank you for this!

And sorry for not replying to your PM. But yeah, I would be back with my fun posts, when SaHil would be back: full throttle 😆
