Since the swap I stopped watching the show and instead kept an eye on the TRP chart 😉 and a closer look reveals that the swap track has not actually done anything with regards to the Q2 standing on the chart itself. Instead it has remained stagnant since the swap.

Q2 started dropping on the chart drastically during Sehan phase and then stabilized with the Sahil build up 2 weeks and then again started dropping with the Sahil MU and it has pretty much remained at that position through out the swap track as well...Infact Q2 has remained at 14-13 ...but I won't be surprised if last weeks TRP moves it up the chart as last week and this week is nearing the end of the swap track.

This is my POV looking at the chart...ofcourse you guys can draw your own conclusions by looking at the chart below too...but one thing definitely stands out: Q2 was on the top 10 from week 28-37 with two small dips inbetween...so I guess this was the best time period of Q2...

Week TRP TRP chart standing TRP of the TOP show

20 (May 11-17) 3.6 19 9.8

21 (May 18-24) 3.4 18 10

27(Jun29-Jul5) 5.2 12 9.4

28(Jul6-12) 5.7 10 9.5

29(Jul13-19) 5.7 11 10.5

30(Jul 20-26) 6.3 10 10.4

37(Sep9-13) 5.8 - 7.7

38 (Sep 14-20) 5.4 11 8.1

39(Sep21-27) 4.8 15 8.2

40(Sep28-Oct4) 4.8 14 7.8

41(Oct7-11) 5 - 8.5

42(Oct12-18) 5.5 13 9.1

43(Oct19-25) 4.9 13 8.8

44(Oct26-Nov1) 5.3 13 10.8

45(Nov 2-8) 5.4 14 11.6

46(Nov9-15) 6 13 14

47(Nov18-22) 6.5 12

In blue the swap track trps and position on the chart

Does the position on the chart or the TRP number itself reflect the success...????
What do you guys think??????

Actually what I am trying to say here is that even though the rate itself has increased with the swap, it was more to do with increased viewership of most shows across the board and not because TRP audiance necessarilty like Q2 now more than before...which is why it does not make any difference with regards to where Q2 is at the chart itself...
So IMO people are not necessarily liking the swap track per se,...most haven't stopped watching the show yet...and as the swap seems to be coming to an end the Q2 standing on the chart would start to increase...

I included the TRP of the top show on the chart to give an estimate of how much viewership of majority of shows has increased during the last one month or so...

lovely analysis SheAish.
QH started improving from August and it had the best standing during the 2nd and 3rd week of August.
Now what was the focus of the show then? Sahil marriage, angst, Aahil jealousy, Sanam trying to find out about her dead parents, peer baba's predictions , etc?
Come september and position starts dropping and reaches the plateau outside the top tens.
I think there are generally 2 types of serials do good, ones with edge of the seat drama like QH is presenting these days. and those which show a pleasant viewing and focus on actual character graphs. ...
If I look at this chart, QH is not doing too well currently in terms of position. If QH TRP is good, then TRP of other shows is also good.

Bold: Exactly!. The increased TRP is due to increased viewership of a majority of shows during the last 1.5 months...(I included the top show's TRP to give an estimate of how much viewership of most shows has increased during this time)

Yes, definitely the best time period of Q2 has been Sahil build up times

^^ If I talk of myself, I tune in to see if we had closure of the swap drama. Now I know for sure via segments/spoilers etc that twin drama will continue and I did not watch today and will not watch tomorrow.

They need to strike the right balance with the dragging. If they had shown anymore of Aaher, then we might have had some actual Aaher fans, who'd have left when the track closed.
Sometimes the viewers who have tuned in for high drama continue to watch even after drama has calmed down out of sheer habit if the viewing is pleasant. Now since I know nothing is happening today, tomorrow and because it is not pleasant these days, I'd skip 2 days.

Me too...can't bear to see Sanam being tortured over and over again...its just too much...these Cvs just don't know when to draw the line...Seems gul ko, online fans ka jab zaroorat hai tab award jeet na hai...and as there are many fans who love Sahil so much they will still keep on voting even though they hate what gul has done to Sahil with this track...gul understands fandom loyalty and uses it very effectively.

Kia kahoo yaar...I would like to believe that people have been watching to see the end of swap track and Sanam's escape that they have been constantly hinting at during this track...but I'm partial to Sahil and Sanam so my reasoning reflects it...😆 But there must be a reason why that even though this track has been the hightest drama point of Q2, it hasn't budged on the chart itself??????
So maybe most are not liking it as much as some of us want to believe????
