Eek... I havent watched the epi, but going theough comments and posts.
So what I've gathered ( correct me if I'm wrong, here - I know quite a few more than happy to do so 😆), is that Aahil had this heavy apology session with Sunehri, who reacted in a way that Sanam never would've.

Sanam would've brushed it off, whereas Sunehri made a performance of it, and got Aahil even more apologetic?

I'm sorry, but perhaps this isn't a bad thing?

Remember the manhandling scene and many others where Aahil treated Sanam horribly, and we were pissed at Sanam for just brushing things off, instead of insisting on an apology at the very least?

So yes, perhaps Aahil should be thinking, "Sanam wouldn't have even let me say sorry for this - hey wait, this isn't Sanam, it's her Doppelganger."

Or perhaps... we look on the bright side and see this as a favour Sunehri has done her twin unknowingly. She's taught Aahil to take better care of his actual wife in future and never allow anything to make him behave with her as he had before.

Yes yes, I am also concerned about where Sanam is (just in case).

This is just an aside and a random thought from an optimistic big mouth, who can't help but throw her 5c around.

Great post KK, as always!

^^ That's not exactly how it played out. Sunheri was at a loss about the laddoos, and then when she finds out she tries to correct herself by saying '"of course how could I forget...of course I would know how hard it was, only I would know..." Aahil at this moment feels bad. His face, uff his face. He feels bad and apologizes and says he's changed and would never act that way, they should forget the past. She remembers Rehan and says somethings can't be moved on from.
Aahil is upset and asks her what happened. Sunheri snaps backs to the present and tells Aahil she was only joking and says she will go make the laddoos.

Aahil asks if she's sure that she was only joking, and she says yes. He tells himself that even if she is joking, he will make the future will have no such instances and only happiness for her.

***********************************

I agree it's not a bad thing per se. It's a good thing that Aahil is determined. And it's a good thing that we saw this realization of his, but it's something that should've happened earlier in a SaHil conversation. And even more so, the way Sunheri is playing with his feelings and insecurities makes you so sad for Aahil. She is not meaning to do it, but still he's being strung around like a yo-yo by her.

Yeah, I'd have liked some of this redemption and apologies much earlier myself.
I've no doubt it's sad, but I'm trying to keep positive still.
I am hoping all of this eventually benefits Sanam ;)

It really was KK. I was watching Aahil so thoughtfully apologize and I am just thinking DAMN IT!!! My heart's breaking here because Sanam doesn't even get to hear this!!! THe person that should be there getting the full impact of that apology is MIA! It was beautiful yet so sad at the same time...

I felt the same too.
I really appreciated the subtle acting of KV yesterday. Aahil watched "Sanam" become ponderous and misunderstood that she was remembering how difficult a time that was for her.

The remorse in his face and the way he kept asking if she was sure she was okay. The accidental sarcasm was like a punch to the solar plexus for me.

I was saying this track is a very different kind of suffering for Aahil, not loss but realisations and remorse. But it's so sad when Sanam knew him inside out and already forgiven him for it all.

He's going to make up for each thing he did to her before, after realising that Diamonds didn't do the trick.

And this makes me disturbed.

They blurred the lines before with Rehan, in love with Sanam and then falling in love with Sunehri. Now Aahil who has fought with himself to be with Sanam, is redeeming himself with Sunehri.

He won't fall for her I'm sure of that. But these blurred lines are worrisome.

SUnehri has to get outta there fast.

lovely post,
agree with u . its quiet disturbing now that aahil wants to redeem himself. so we are going to get more aaher romance.
as for the romance itself, it bothers me even more that they have been showing aahil as enjoying his wifes new habits, its like he is falling in love with each and every single antic of hers. but then the point is she isnt his wife. he is actually falling in love with sunehri. which disturbs me more.
its like they are showing a spark exists between aaher, not the platonic kind. which is even worse.
i couldnt put it better than u about them blurring the lines.
but i am quiet sure we are stuck with this storyline till the TRPs drop or few months.
sunehri isn't going to leave that place. the story has been moving very very slowly as well sometimes just stagnant.

I don't think he was falling for her new antics. He kept saying over and over that she's been acting weird. That she avoids his touch and closeness is confusing him, making him play along to make it up to her.
Remembering old times and old scores seems to be the theme here; laddoos & challenges, I'm sure the Rehan equation is going to be dragged in there too.

Imagine what would happen when he catches "Sanam" making tragic lovelorn eyes at Rehan, and confronting her like he used to? Sunehri is going to discover that the great Mr-"I hate lies and liars"-Rehan has lots of his own.
