I had also mused about what was the ace of spades that she had in her hand that Tanveer was gloating about, that would make Sanam and Ahil sign the papers. I mused in this forum if Tanveer would dangle a threat to Ahil's life, because short of that nothing could make Sanam sign those papers. But I dismissed this presumption because it does not make sense for Tanveer to kill Ahil before he signs the papers, as without his signature, there is no hope for Tanveer to get a hold of the money.
Even Sanams knew this. Sanam sees how much the property papers matter to Tanveer. She is also aware that without her and Ahil's signatures, the property will go into a trust, from where it is irredeemable for Tanveer. Sanam and Ahil can sign only so long as they are alive (and free of hand injuries, real or imaginary😆). Therefore, for these reasons, Sanam should have understood that Billi cannot kill Ahil because she needs him to sign the papers. As long as he does not sign the papers, Ahil is alive.
