Chapter-3
Asad entered the room with hot brewing coffee to find the couch area cleared by Zoya for work..

He handed her the cup of coffeeand than sat on the couch,Zoya knew from the past experience that the coffee would be the dark and bitter one,she took a sip and her experience proved right.

She didn't said anything and kept the mug aside and asked

Zoya: So what ideas you have..
Asad:what..??
Zoya: for phupphi's bday plan
Asad: nothing in solid
(Asad was surprised that she didn't complain about the coffee)
Zoya:I have certain plans

She began to show him photos of certain handmade gifts on her I pad that phupphi would love

Then she bought certain files from the cupboard and showed him beautiful quotes and messages that he could write on chord and leave it everywhere where phupphi roam in house

Suddenly a file dropped and Zoyas face lost all the colour...certain photos,old addresses and old photos of Bhopal fell from the file ,she hurredly began to collect it

Asad was unable to figure out anything from those photographs and was not able to understand why Zoya has become so tensed suddenly...

Asad: you okay..?
Zoya: ji Mr khan..
Asad: may I help...
Zoya: no I am almost done...you continue on the I pad

Asad began to look through the I pad again..when by mistake his hand clickked the history button,what she has searched was about old city ..fire incidents ...in Bhopal 20 yrs ago

He understood that Zoya was hiding something...when zoya paced towards the couch he again began to look at the theme ideas and all...

Zoya: Mr Khan you sing well na ..
Asad: are you asking or telling miss Faroouqi
Zoya:I mean you should sing a song to phupphi in the beggining and than make her cut the cake
Asad: which song
Zoya :any that phupphi like or could relate her life with...or which you want to dedicate to her...
Asad: ok I think we are done...food italian and decoration...is your department...
Zoya: no Mr khan said zoya getting up...you and Najma have to decide the gift...

Said zoya getting up...and moving towards bed...

Asad: Aap apni ammi ko kya deti hai unke janmdin par...???

Zoya was feeling dizzy ...and listening to Mr khans question tears welled up in her eyes ...she stumbled lost her balance and at last fainted...asad was too panicked so could not notice her tears...he just give her support and made her lie on the bed he thought it was due to lack of sleep

(At 5 am...)

He covered her with quilt...nd left her room...

...nxt morning...
Asad got up at 6:30 and got into zoyas room to check on her ...
