The reason he is given less screenspace has to do with the PH itself. For this I believe it's a mixture of 1)they don't know exactly how to use Aahil at this point of the story, which is one which they are attempting to extend and 2) budget issues.

They could've given some time to Aahil to show his thought process after he broke that dreamhouse. They wanted to keep him fixing it up a "surprise," fine. But what about before that...what made him go back to the room and watch Sanam? So I feel they they are kind of at a loss and are not sure how to write these, AND the budget comes into factor.

As for the success of QH2. No doubt SaHil rose QH2. Kabristan till Nikkah week was mostly focused around them. However, it cannot be denied that that focus was based and tied around Tanveer and Rehan as well. Kabristan didn't just have SaHil. It truly started the story. It had full revelation of Tanveer, Rehan factored in too in both how he progressed SaHil as well as Tanveer's plan, and also in that he is part of that greater story--which is Tanveer's reckoning. I'm not even saying revenge, it's an easy word to use which I have done too. But the story per se is not about revenge right now. The story is really how all these things are happening and coming together within the framework of the backstory--and they will all eventually lead to Tanveer's downfall.

SaHil works, I believe no SaHil, then forget success of QH2. However one of the reasons they work is because of the framework around them...the circumstances surrounding them, the truth which the audience knows, the overall plot and backstory. Do I believe SaHil could've been focused on more, slowing down the progression of the bigger story. Yes. But...at the same time, SaHil have always progressed along with the main story. Though I do believe they could have given more focus and some more meaty scenes, as well as finishing many scenes better. .

Thing is, though. This reckoning of Tanveer, it doesn't just involve Sanam. It involves Aahil too. But as I said in my second paragraph, I think they are quite stuck about how to go about Aahil here.

ETA. Conversely I would also say the main story and plot would not work without Aahil and SaHil--no matter how less focus and screenspace is given. What makes that backstory appealing IS the the involvement of Aahil and SaHil.

I think the factors you have mentioned is on spot.. I think the makers r now on a crossroads; they dont know how to involve Aahil in the current track. He doesnt know about his mother's true nature and his relationship with Sanam is also hanging. So they r just dumbfounded as to how they can show him..See they would not have this prblem if they had built up the tracks for his sisters. They just went missing suddenly. If both his sisters had their own story then Aahil could have been incorporated in it. Now all we see is HAFA which is in now way related to Aahil.

But yes I agree with the rest you have mentioned.. My only qualm like u have stated is that they should do something strong for Saahil/Aahil

I just do t get what's the point of showing all the other crap when of have such awesome actors with you, why ot just focus on Sahil, and Sehaan, who cares for tannu, razia, faiz and haya, these days it's more like haya and faiz story, and I just do ot care. They can't even act properly. I am just so disappointed, I only watch Sahil and fwd everything😕 All the time they will chop Sahil scenes, they do not even finish their scenes properly. Bangle scene, cake scene, 🤢 It's completely disappointing. I am just so sick of phone haya drama and Tannu's n number of plotting...

Completely agree with everything u said. But I guess eventhough we had all this extra tracks, they r important for a show's longevity. A previous show I was madly in love, did this mistake of focusing too much on the leads and the side characters got ignored thus leading to fall in trps and the show had a sudden end.. All I want is proper Saahil/Aahil with proper balance with good parallel stories and not the side charcters completely eating up the main leads

I started to watch only after KVB entry.. I loved his acting in Dil Se Di Dua..though its a anti character he just amazed me with his acting..
Starting of QH 2 ..its more of Aahil & SaHil.. loved his each scene ..now he doesnt have much role to do.. just a scene before going to sleep and his fear in sleep and in morning a scene with sanam..thats it..

I miss his acting a lot..too many side characters now..the CT's are wasting such a talented actor.. sometimes after watching SaHil scenes they show at present ..i wish to see more of Aahil so i watch old episodes ..

Hope KVB gets more scene and variety of scenes to show his talent..because of him I am still watching QH..though he gets very few minutes nowadays..

Pray KVB doesnt get dejected and leave the show as I love SaHil & Aahil a lot..

Agree with you.. How amazing was he in Saubagyavathi?😲... such an amazing potrayal of a complicated and psychotic character and he did it sooo easily..

All I want is his talent not to be wasted in the name of him being the so called "lead". Even Im watching old Saahil scenes to tend my broken heart😆

But i dont think KVB is an unprofessional actor to just leave a show.. he stuck to his previous show till the end and hopefully things will get better for Aahil's character now

As in all telly serials the story is always fixated on the female lead.
QH is no diifferent.

DSDDSB was an exception..the character of Viraj (played brilliantly by KVB) was so domineering and larger than life that the drama turned its focus on him. He survived where as the hero and heroine died. That usually doesn't happen. 😆

Hats of to KVB for being that good!

Now QH is female centric like all of Gul's drama's...the problem here is that it has an ensamble cast and the CVs are trying to do justice to all the parallel tracks that are running together.

While I'm enjoying all the tracks including Haya's story...KVB has again with his performance perfected Ahil's character and his chemistry is so good with SJ that you just long to see them. I mean no matter how much we are given it is never enough.

Again hats off to KVB for his brilliant acting skills! 👏

It was surprising that he joked about being a prop and eye candy in the iv, there is always little truth behind every kidding.Hope he discusses with the PH and we get more Ahil.

i even saw surbhi saying kv "tum toh cameo role ke liye aate ho aur chale jate ho😛" in their f32 interview
