My reference to Q2 is here because of Sahil meant that if not for the TRP gain as the Sahil story got underway around June, the show most probably would have been taken off air. Even KV said that Q2 got an extension after gaining TRPs. I personally think that so far both KV and SJ brings out the best in each other as far as chemistry is concerned.

However if we are honest, if I'm not wrong once the TRP started to fall after the start of Zoyaan track it didn't get back up all this time until Sahil story started around June this year so KV's instrumental role in Q2 being here right now is undeniable IMO.

But don't worry too much, you guys can still enjoy Sj and sehan even if he does quit. Who knows maybe u guys are right and Sj and Shehzard can carry the show on their shoulders even if Kv leaves. 😛
No you are wrong after zoyan track qh have stable trp of 2.6to2.9,even after Rakesh entry the trp of the show went to 3.3the highest.the trp
went low only after asya death and IPL start.

I cannot imagine QH without KVB... That would be the end of QH for me... i know Gul cn pull it off... but for me QH will end the day SaHil r messed up or KVB/ SJ r not playing SaHil ...

I cant express how crazy i am for SaHil... i dont give a damn to other kichras going on in qh2.. i just want SaHil to be completed n not with loop holes... i was never ever addicted to any couple even asya, so crazily as i am for SaHil... thats y i hate every couple or individual which has more screen space than SaHil... they are the leads n TRP pullers too.. Gul do concentrate on them otherwise its a complete waste...😡😡😡

You're right, KVB is integral to the success of QH2 for sure and if I remember correctly QH2 only started picking up in TRPs when Gul started concentrating on SaHil, so they are def the soul of the show. I don't agree with people who say that only kitchen politics works with TRP audience because I remember IPK used to get very decent TRPs and it was solely focused on lead couple...

I also think a lot of credit should go to the writers and Gul for making the SaHil story so gorgeous and beautiful, all their scenes so far have been close to perfect.

Seems like Gul is focused on SaHil this time though so don't worry she won't ruin them. She has treaded slowly and steadily with SaHil and gave them a perfectly woven love story so she deserves a lot of credit for QH2 success too. :)

I watch this show number 1 for SAHIL. I liked QH 1 and ASYA a lot. But was not addicted to it the way I am addicted to QH 2. It's the way I was addicted to IPK and ARSHI.

I also like Aahil and Sanam as individuals. I think each of them have interesting points and Aahil is not like your typical 4 Lions hero. He is a bit more subdued and is not throwing his weight around as much. Compare him with ASR and AAK, he is not full of a venomous tongue and always trying to show the heroine down!

The actors in question who played these roles were very good, they brought many shades to the characters and managed to inject the right level of humanity to the characters. The writing was also good initially on both shows.

But with QH 2, Aahil has always come across a bit more well rounded. He has an attitude and a swagger, and he was presented as promiscuous, which neither previous heroes were. ASR had a girlfriend but he was not a player. Asad was a closed book and very conservative. Aahil also drinks too much and the only 4 Lions lead who was shirtless half the time and appeared allergic to clothes. Both ASR and AAK were fully buttoned up most of the time. Aahil was never your typical "suit" even though he did business. I actually LIKE that about him. Again, unique. Both ASR and Asad had "Daddy issues", but Aahil was actually abused by his father. Which was a lot worse! So as far as pasts go, Aahil has the worst one!

QH 2 will NEVER be the same if Aahil or SAHIL were to be removed from the equation. If ANY other actor were to play Aahil. Because no one can! KVB IS Aahil. Just like Barun was ASR. People would demand the shut down of this show than tolerate watching another Aahil. I didn't even know KVB when I started watching QH 2. I was not even sure what I thought of him at the start. But NOW? I am totally crazy for him and the way he plays Aahil. He keeps me glued to the set. Like Trina said, I watch AAHIL scenes! Not just SAHIL scenes. I just love the way Aahil thinks, how he FEELS! Just love it!

I don't have enough superlatives to describe how much I enjoy watching KVB as Aahil and even SJ as Sanam. Together as SAHIL they are unstoppable and the USP of QH 2! If anyone thinks otherwise I think they are deluded! Sorry!

Yes you are right. Its most of the time impossible to gain trp after leap. And QH has done that. And the credit goes to sahil. If there was no trp then the show would have been shut with in a month or two. But Ahil which was new lead character different from previous one attracted the viewers. And I bet no one could have done better than KVB. And yes the chemistry between sahil is amazing and it surely attracted viewers. Beside QH2 do have a better storyline than QH1 specially Sahil love story.

qh has faced a male lead problem but eventually it revived due to sj ahrd work😳

I'm sorry for pointing this out but QH2 def did not work because of SJ's hard work. Yes, it was one of the contributing factors but QH2 worked due to SaHil and SaHil only. And that's not even an opinion, it's a fact.

It's the writers and Gul that deserve credit more than the actors because TRP audience don't give two hoots about actors so please give credit where it's due.

Although the actors deserve a lot of credit for bringing life to the characters they portray...

I agree for the most part. But I would add that it's also the overall story which sustained it. Kabristan was a turning point due to SaHil but also because it started the story...yes this includes Tanveer-Rehan scenes at Kabristan. Obviously SaHil brought it up--the full reveal of the past by itself wouldn't have resulted in a surge; All the focus on SaHil brought it up--those days the focus was more on SaHil itself than Tanveer's reckoning. However, QH2 as an overall product works due to the fact that there is a tight pace and plot, where everything is leading to something. QH2 has a purpose, and viewers tune in for that as well as SaHil. And SaHil itself ties into the whole plot and purpose as well and SaHil always was tied into that strong back story

Quite proud of QH2 really. The show really isn't just senseless lead couple scenes with no point or story . It's really not a family drama nor kitchen politics (with exception of Phoophie side track)...it is quite different than all the other top shows. Though I do agree, and have always said, they could've focused a bit more on some more on SaHil post Nikkah.

Oh, and I should add. QH2 is up there without aggressive promotion. Hell, forget aggressive, with minuscule to no promotion. It's a major feat,not catering to all those things I mentioned above, and doing so well without promotion. :P
