I think it's possible. Rehan can do it either for good or bad. Either to stop Sanam from signing the papers so that the property don't get transferred to his mom OR out of jealousy . Rehan is angry but I don't think he will do any harm to Sanam after he knows for sure that Sanam has feelings for Aahil as well. His love for Sanam is unconditional.
Cuteness means nothing. It doesn't guarantee positivity. Anyway I still feel that he loves Sanam without any expectations and her well wisher. Tanu might just get pissed at Sanam and try to kill her. Rehan might try to save her and hence the switch.
