Oh Man... An episode filled with misunderstandings...

Today was the episode for Rehan. His mother walks in on his solitude in the study, wanting to share her news of their ill-begotten riches to come soon. A tender moment she wanted to share with her son, until Aahil walked in. He pauses awkwardly and announces Aahil's arrival to his mother.

Aahil was not asking the obvious question: Why is Ammi talking about properties with Rehan? But he doesn't ask the question, because he really doesn't care about it. No interest whatsoever. And Tanveer knows it. So tells Aahil they are about to get ownership of the Nawaab's properties, and the proper owner will have them, her hand proprietarily on Rehan's back. Rehan looked like he felt ill, with all this backstabbing she is planning. He excuses himself and leaves.

Aahil is left alone to ruminate over his lovely wife. He thinks about her praying for him at the hospital, helping him dress and this evening's force-feeding. A small tender smile breaks on his face, he is touched. Lovely sentiment, allowing himself to feel good at being cared for by his beloved.

Alas it was not to last. Rehan walks into Sanam and Aahil's bedroom and finds Sanam looking for her lost pendant. The one Seher wore when Rehan bumped into her. He is puzzled as to why she doesnt' remember being at that restaurant.

Frankly, I started hyperventilating as soon as he walked into her bedroom. A man shouldn't walk into a married woman's bedroom like that. It's just so wrong. I watched through my fingers, waiting for her to send him out quickly before Aahil misunderstands.

Rehan chooses this time to ask her about her marriage to Aahil. Are you okay?( Really Rehan? Bad timing! Maybe in the kitchen or something, NOT HERE !) She innocently tells him she is fine, that Aahil is a good man. He appears rough and mean, but inside he's very innocent. Rehan sees the caring in her eyes for Aahil and becomes melancholic.(Send him away, Sanam!! Quickly !!)

But she doesn't!! Argh! Sanam haven't you learnt? Stay away from Rehan!! She goes on searching for the necklace, moving to the suitcase above the cupboard. And clumsily falls , and Rehan neatly catches her in his embrace. She gets up quickly. They both break apart awkwardly.

Of course, Aahil witnesses all of it.

All rainbows have dissipated. He is rightly angered by the sight of Rehan holding his wife, in their bedroom. But this time he goes after Rehan. He walks in on the melancholic younger man looking for peace in the night sky.

Rehan in all black, and Aahil is all white. Rehan is coming to terms with the fact that he will never get Sanam, and since he stayed back only for her, and his mother's promise of a 3 month marriage. He saw Sanam settling in the marriage, and caring for Aahil. He is wisely deciding to remove himself from the picture, before he saw the prowling panther baring teeth at him.

Aahil stands behind him, barely restraining his temper.

There should be a distance between a man and his employer. One should know his limits. Especially when it comes to his employer's bedroom. Off limits !! If you weren't like a little brother to me, you wouldn't be standing here...!!

Rehan is scandalized that Aahil is misunderstanding him, thinking he had betrayed Aahil. (But what was he doing, talking to the man's wife in their bedroom?) Rehan is hurt that Aahil is accusing him.

But he doesn't clear the air. Instead he gets angry at Aahil.

What does it matter to you, if I talk or spend time with Sanam? You hate her !?

She is my wife. As long my name is joined with hers, no one has claims over her.

Nicely done Aahil ! You stamp your banner right there, MINE !!

Rehan, is very hurt by these proceedings. First he is forced to participate in his mother's scheme, then his crush fell for another, and Aahil bhai wants to knock his teeth out. He walks away in a huff, Is all this about whether her name is joined to yours, or is it something else within you? Something you are trying desperately to hide away?

Yes, Rehan, he loves her. This gruff man-boy you call Bhai, is struggling to hold back his feelings. And your moony eyes are giving him a lot of grief. He walks away leaving Aahil with a lot to think about.

He doesn't clear Aahil's misconception about Sanam or himself. He doesn't tell Aahil, Sanam cares for him. He is busy nursing his own broken heart.

Meanwhile, icky aunty and funny haired girl spy in corners at Haya. They spy at the newlyweds sleeping arrangements and barge in as Faiz playacts the loving husband and hugs Haya. Yuck, what a scene.!

Poor Haya is horrified, and Faiz pleads for her to keep up the act, or his aunt will create trouble. He is unable to understand why Haya is so averse to him. She feels bad because it isn't his fault. Oh dear, this is going where I think its going...

More misunderstandings created, none resolved today... All hail grumpy Aahil... Sanam, time to crack out double dose sexy smiles and slow motion winks...
