We had captured this conversation with Surbhi Chandna a while back. And even though we had not forgotten, we had not found the right space for it to be putup. The reason was simple, we wanted a day where we could talk about her at length.
We were watching this video to see if it had lost its relevant to the show or her character, Hayaa Ahmed Khan and realised that today it has perhaps even more relevance.Hayaa had fallen in love with Raahat and was unable to express it. She now has in herinability to let the one person know how she feels about him has led to being married to his brother, keeping inside the world that could have bloomed is withering away bitby bit.
Where Surbhi is concerned, talking with her takes us into a different realm as she givesus vibes that makes us think beyond the norm. Her rendition of a character that perhaps evokes emotions that one feels at any point in time in our life despite having all our faculties. Be it helplessness, be it overwhelming feeling of being loved or be it despair at the inability to say how one feels all emotions are note xclusive to being able to not say to hear anything. The eyes speak and the heart hears.
Did Hayaa feel the heart beat of Raahat but was unable to voice out due to her own insecurities? Time will tell whether she will take any step towards a love that right now seems wrong.
