Well I hate to say this. But the similar concept was used in Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, on Colors. There RK the hero of the show gets shot by bullet and is fighting between life and death. The female lead donates blood, walks bare foot to Siddhi Vinayak Temple which is Mumbai for those who don't know and takes care of him and later falls in love with him and that A** H*** pretends to be in love with her and later dumps her and then there were other crappy twists which you all do not wanna know as I started hating that serial when the hero continuously kept degrading the female lead and walked all over her like carpet and she still rolled back to him when he said simple sorry. His sorry seemed to be enough for all his crappy behaviour. Ok enough discussion about that show. I hate myself for even watching the initial episodes of that serial. But the bottom line is that Male lead getting hurt and Female Lead realizing her love for him and accidents improving the chance of romance is not new in the serial. Actually the original concept of Hero getting hurt and heroine falling for him was originated from KV's serial Kasauti Zindagi Ki only I think. Prem gets badly beaten by Goons and Mukthi saves him, takes him to the hospital. She walks to the Siddhi Vinayak and Prays for Prem and When Prem gets out of Life threatening scenario she hugs him and also takes good care of him and that's when Mukthi's love for Prem deepens. Then in Saubhagyavati Bhav again Viraj gets involved in Car Accident. Jhanvi rushes t the hospital and brings her back home. There Viraj did not have any life threatening scene it was a simple fracture but poor Jhanvi cried her eyes out for Viraj and took such good care of him. Man that scenes of Jhanvi taking care of Viraj are Gold. Pure Gold. That's the way a wife should take care of her husband and Viraj was the worst example of how a husband should not behave with his wife who took such good care of him. Viraj was one lucky Ba**** who got such a nice wife like Jhanvi who took such nice care of him. The way she fears him, but still wants to help him. She cuts his shirt to avoid giving him pain while removing his shirt. Feeding him, Sleeping on the rocking chair the whole night so that he could sleep peacefully on the bed alone without any kind of discomfort caused by lack of space, and when he tells Jhanvi to come and sleep on bed, she very carefully sleeps on one side to avoid causing him accidental pain in her sleep. Jhanvi was THE BEST example of a Caring Wife. But alas Viraj did not knew her worth. No on screen wife till date took such nice care of her onscreen husband as Jhanvi.
Sorry to come into the convo lol but cudnt resist :) I have only seen the first show u mentioned... There was one major difference tho... There the hero was not in love at that point n here well do I have to explain ;) in usual stories we see heroines take care of hero because they start falling in love or because of their kind nature! They love to give more than they get! But Sanam is different n thats why I love her! She does not take nonsense n is very practical! Even after saving her life multiple times, Aahil cud not easily win her over whereas I have seen shows where the female instantly falls for the male despite the numerous insults thrown her way! For Sanam, caring for and making effort for Aahil is truly a unique moment because although she is kind hearted, she is not one to melt easily. So for me, her reaction is kinda like a hero's reaction because in most of these stories, especially four lions ones, the hero takes more time to realize his love and its usually thru a moment like this. Aahil realized after the burial incident, not during it. But Sanam's emotions are more in the moment and tensed just like certain heroes! Thats what makes it dramatic, interesting and passionate (full of junoon lol) I havnt seen the other examples lol n I do agree heroines praying for heroes is certainly not new, but in Sanam's case, going by her character we know she doesn't break easy and when she does, it means something special! Its different from typical rona dhona, sacrifice, weakness, one sided kinda love where the female takes anything the male does with a smile. I totally get u on the example, there was no redemption track lol but here Aahil is a very different! He loves her n finally she will love him back! :) So its gonna b quite an interesting sequence lol im excited! :) love SaHil :)
