Before I get to chapter 17 and 18:

Zoya - Her progression towards moving past her trauma is significant, she oscillates, but she's moving in the right direction. Karan and her friends are largely responsible for her present emotional state. She is surround by amazing friends, it makes you introspect the blessings of having best friends.

The disadvantage of late comments are they aren't justified as with time the impact of an update fades, especially when you have a lot going on simultaneously. I don't have an independent recollection of what I wanted to exactly say about the last few updates apart from the fact they were remarkable and a highly enjoyable read.

Chapter 17:

The comfort level and bonding that has developed between Zoya, Karan and her friends are truly amazing - A heart-warming read.

And she now has a brother looking out for her - 👏

Chapter 18:

The Hug - the bond is intensifying without realization and recognition - Endearing!

Those unadulterated hugs and forehead kisses are truly beautiful.

I though the brat may make life miserable for Zoe at the hospital, I'm glad she is professional enough not to have done so.

Why do I feel Zaynah is going to be a hurdle in this relationship, before wholeheartedly accepting it whereas Anwar would encourage them?
