I loved this! I think Sanam should go back and be with Aahil while looking for proof against Tanveer. How will Aahil start doubting Tanveer if Sanam isn't there? Aahil shoulad meet all of Sanam's family. Where are Haya and Rahat? Please don't let there be the idiotic Rahat-Haya-Faiz triangle and let there be just Rahat and Haya. Will Seher make an entry soon? I can't wait to read more, update soon please.

Hi guys... Sorry this is late. Actually I rewrote it several times, needed to get it just right. You may notice that I have added gifs (from my tumblr friends) to enhance the story. If you go back to all the chapters, you'll find gifs have been added there too.
Hope you guys enjoy this, it took a lot of work...😉

SaHil FF: A Tangled Love Part 6 ...

Part 6 :

Aahil sat down in his first class seat heavily. Finally he will be heading home after this 5 day conference. Ammi had insisted he attend this for business interests, but he had wanted to stay back. Everything was weird. Sanam was living with her uncles, not with her own husband, and no one at home batted an eyelid. Something is going on under the surface of all this, and Aahil was curious. His Ammi, who forced this nikah upon him to secure his father's property, suddenly doesn't care about Sanam, or the marriage. And she kept brushing the topic away when he brought it up.

But he kept silent about Sanam and Badi Ammi's accusations that Begum Sahiba murdered Sanam's family. Murder?? No way... That's too horrible to even fathom or imagine. Sounded crazy. But he admitted this, he knew nothing about his Ammi's past; where she came from, who she was before she married his father.

Ughh, baggage. I hate sticky baggage, the kind that drag you back, preventing you from moving fast.

His neck was stiff and he adjusted his seat back, and picked up the local newspaper. He almost choked to see the main news item.

image

Dear God... Aahil choked and quickly read through the article. What the hell?Rehan didn't tell him that the press were asking questions about Sanam? He wasn't able to talk to Sanam either since he left Bhopal. What is going on...? Is this the Twilight Zone or something? He scrambled for his phone to call Rehan, but a flight steward cleared his throat disapprovingly.

Damn it. I'll have to wait till I get back.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Upon arrival at the airport, he was met by Rehan. Apparently the reporters have been sniffing about the mansion few days ago, and Ammi threw a huge tantrum and yelled at the reporters to leave at the gate. Strange...Ammi never threw fits like this before. Even Rehan looked perplexed explaining the event to him. Since then Ammi has been meeting the family lawyers a lot too.

Whatever...

"Aahil bhai... I know you're gonna hate this, but you may have to attend the Chamber of Commerce dinner now. You are a committee member, and they did tell you about it well in advance..."

Aahil groaned. These business dinners sucked, big time. Old stuffy money-counting types will surround him and talk about nothing else but how much they had, and how to make more. It was more of a gathering to keep up good graces between rivalling companies. But he knew he couldn't escape this one.

However much he'd rather be breaking down Sanam's door right now.

Aahil owned the hotel where the dinner was held, technically he was the host. So he used his penthouse suite there and dressed up to arrive at the dinner fashionably late. He walked to be greeted by the usual deal seekers, sponsorship hopefuls and etc. Yawn...

But he looked up down from the steps and saw her.

She was gorgeous. Laughing demurely at something a petite older woman was whispering in her ear. Widening her eyes scandalously at the other woman, they shared what obviously looked like some juicy gossip. She was wearing a navy blue gorgeous designer saree, beautifully elegant. The saree made her look incredibly sexy, accentuating her curves, the layers covering everything and yet so tantalizing to his senses.

Dear God, I missed her.

But Sanam... Here?

He stopped at the foot of the stairs and stared at his wife. She looked around instinctively, searching. And a few seconds later lifted her eyes and found him. A beautiful smile broke on her face, her joy in seeing him infectious. With an answering smile, he walked up to where she was.

Coming home...

But just before he reached her, two men suddenly appeared before him, in a non-confrontational manner, but blocking his way to Sanam no less. Aahil recognized them from the newspaper article, her newfound uncles. Mr. Ayaan looked thinner in person, his youthful eyes betraying his stern looking close-cropped beard. He watched Aahil unsmilingly, sizing him up for worth. While her other uncle Haider smiled at him and held out his hand. They all exchanged salaams and introduced themselves to each other, as Sanam watched expectantly.

However, the two men didn't budge from blocking his way to Sanam. Sanam looked at Aahil's tight face, his jaw muscle clenched as he gritted his teeth. What's going on there? Why are Uncle Ayaan and Haider being strange with Aahil? It wasn't outright unpleasant but a tinge itself was very sensitive in this situation.

Sanam watched as her uncles observed Aahil react to their silent objection to his claim on Sanam. Aahil mutinously glared at them both, all three of them looking like alpha wolves; two waiting to pounce on the newcomer.

I have to put a stop to this! Sanam sidestepped the contentious triangle and came to stand in front of her uncles. She smilingly walked up to Aahil and stood by his side, and raised calm but resolute eyes upon her uncles. Stop this, he is my husband, her eyes tell them.

Both uncles are struck by her manner. Both of them saw the steely gaze, the silent command not to argue with her decision. So much like her father. The tension diffused, and smiles were back in place.

But the swelling pride in Aahil's chest was exploding. She walked to HIS side, to stand by him. He wanted to bear-hug her right then, but he couldn't, so he grabbed her hand, entwining their fingers . It looked sweet and loving to onlookers, the handsome Chote Nawaab smiling at his Begum, but only Sanam could feel the love and gratitude in the strong grip, his hands shivering.

He pulled her closer to him, as he bent his head close to her and whispered,

"Let's get out of here..."

"What? But..."

"No buts. You're staying with me tonight."

Sanam swallowed at the implied meaning in his words.

Ayaan was worried for Sanam. With Asad Bhaijaan's will reading in 2 days, they needed to keep their cards close to their chest. He hoped that sweet Sanam won't confide important details to Aahil, which would be ferreted out by Tanveer. His face twisted in hate just thinking about that vile woman. He watched Sanam and her husband look into each others' eyes. There's a deep love there, he hoped it will last through the hurricane that's about to hit them. But suddenly she turned her head and looked back at him.

image

<gif by magicasya@tumblr)

It took him back to that day; the day Asad Bhai came and took his bride back. How she told everyone clearly how much she loved Asad and would leave with him. She turned back at the door, worried at what problems she had caused them as she left. Ayaan smiled reassuringly at Sanam, winking at her that all is fine. Bhaijaan, you would've been proud, your daughter is a remarkable person.

When Sanam looked at Haider, he was struck with overwhelming sadness. He had known his Chutki for such a short time, when she was cruelly torn away. He remembered how Zoya unknowingly came to him as a sister and stood by him at his nikah.

image

<gif by magicasya@tumblr>

Haider smiled and nodded at Sanam, implying his best wishes for her.

Sanam looked back at Aahil then and nodded. They walked out of the banquet hall, hand in hand, man and wife, exhilarated that no one had the right to stop them.

O~o~O~o~O

The elevator ride up to the penthouse suite was nerve wracking. Her hand was held hostage in his. He stared at her, like a panther watching his prey; brooding, sleek, intense. Sanam looked everywhere but at him. The patterns on the elevator floor carpet formed a kaleidoscope pattern because of the assault to her nerves. The awareness of him.

image

She snuck a look at him. He held her gaze and moved closer to her. Sanam closed her eyes, as he rubbed his stubbled right cheek to hers, breathing in her scent, using his sharp nose to touch hers. Her knees felt weak, and her other hand squeezed his left bicep for support.

"Sanam..." he growled "open your eyes..." As he continued to hover around her lips, watching her bite her lower lip in nervousness. She shook her head, unable to open her eyes. He picked up a tendril of her hair and played with it, still hovering over her lips.

The lift doors pinged open silently into the luxurious penthouse. Aahil led her out by their still enjoined hands.

"Soft drink? "Aahil offered, correctly guessing she needed a short time out. She nodded gratefully. Aahil mixed together some lychee juice with ice cream soda in a wine glass and put a little umbrella on it. Sanam looked surprised...

"What? My culinary skills are limited to mixing drinks together I'm afraid. Now that you've made me quit, even that's useless..." he laughed softly as she sipped at her drink and exclaimed in pleasant surprise. She relaxed visibly as Aahil drew open the curtains running all around the room; exposing the panoramic view of the busy city beneath them.

Gasping in pleasure, she went to the windows to admire the view. A sea of tiny lights peppered the view, red, yellow , white, some neon lights, some moving, some not. She marvelled at the view as Aahil hugged her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder, looking out together. Sanam leaned back into him, leaning her head toward his.

" I missed you. A lot..." Sanam whispered softly.

Aahil smiled into her hair, and said,"Hmmm...? Oh really? Well my darling, I don't believe you..." he teased. "Prove it ..."

Sanam turned around and held his face, surprising Aahil. She had a pained expression in her eyes, incongruous to the light-hearted mood he was trying to create.

"I'm afraid Aahil. I'm very afraid that you're going to be so far from me soon..."

Wait, Aahil thought, This sounds deadly serious. What's going on?

"What happened? Are your uncles taking you away with them? Over my dead body!! !" Aahil clenched his fist angrily.

"No, Aahil, it's not that. Even if they ask, I wouldn't go. It's about the truths that you are unwilling to hear. I'm worried that it will tear us apart. I can't bear it Aahil! Please ! Don't leave me alone, please!" she hugged him tightly, as though someone was pulling her away.

Aahil felt disturbed by her anxiety. He held her fast, stroking her back soothingly. "I made a promise to you sometime ago Sanam, you don't remember it. But I promised you that I wouldn't go away and leave you alone. I have never made such a promise to anyone before. And I intend to keep it."

Sanam pulled out of his arms, with tears in her eyes, she kissed his lips softly. The sweetness of her gesture swamped him, and he kissed her back thoroughly, holding her tight. Their hug was painful, as though both unwilling to let circumstance break them apart.

Aahil pulled at the bejewelled clasp holding her hair up, freeing her beautiful hair down. He moved to pull out her dangling earrings , but she offered instead. She stood at the dresser, removing all her jewelry one by one, their eyes locked in their reflection of the mirror. Earrings, maang tikka, necklace, finally bangles. Aahil walked up to her and gently unwrapped the pallu of her saree, his gaze burning her through the mirror. Soon she stood before him in her lace blouse and a satin underskirt, her breathing shallow. As he carefully unclasped the blouse and it fell , Sanam closed her eyes.

She heard rustling of clothes being discarded, and suddenly she was turned around held close to his chest. The contact of skin and skin was very arousing. She kept her eyes closed, but her hands felt sleek male skin. Firm , angular planes, moving with each breath, she caressed his powerful pectorals and moved along his shoulders. She ran her hands up his neck and into his hair, wavy and soft. She breathed in his scent; that expensive, sporty citrusy scent that she loved.

"Sanam..."

Her eyes flew open and found him smiling softly. "Finally, I get to see those big beautiful eyes. Don't be nervous, it's just me. You can handle me. In fact you're the only one who has succeeded in stopping me from doing anything. Anytime you feel it's too much, just stop me..."

Sanam looked into his earnest eyes. She leaned forward and kissed him passionately, her hands winding around his shoulders. Aahil took over and immediately the kiss took on a hungry ravenous nature; tongues meeting, lips smacking. His strong hands settle around her small waist, fingers splayed downward over her curvy derriere, kneading softly as he pressed himself into her.

She forced her lips away, breathless. He moved to her ear as she caught her breath, licking her ear lobe, the wet sound causing a sharp tingle. He laved his way down her neck, a sensuous tickle rose in her. Unable to stand it anymore, she laughed breathily holding his head away.

Aahil thought her laugh was the sexiest thing he'd ever heard. In fact this whole experience felt new, invigorating. Despite his experience, this moment with Sanam felt new, making love with the woman you love, who loves you back just as much. He felt nervous too, strangely.

Feeling warm, Sanam unbuckled her underskirt and it fell in a heap. Sanam in lace undergarments and strappy heels. Whoa... Aahil gaped at the gorgeous sight.

Wasting no time, he backs her onto the poster bed. She lay back on the bed as he knelt and removed her heels. Crawling on fours over her, he kissed her thoroughly , her hands winding around his body, cautiously exploring. Her husband had hard toned muscles, everything felt tight and smooth, not a flab in sight. His breathing was harsh, his scorching kisses robbing her of deep thoughts.

He deftly removed her bra and lowered his stubbled face to her breasts. She wasn't crazy about the scratchy sensation, but his lips suckled at her so hard she came up on her elbows. He continued with the other nipple as she restlessly ran her fingers through his hair. He moved further down, her skin reddening with the scratch from his stubble, his hands wandering all over her.

Suddenly he came back and kissed her hard, almost roughly, she almost cried out loud when his fingers started exploring her intimate area, massaging slowly. A strange heightening sensation was rising in her, an urgency toward something, she clutched at Aahil in nervousness.

She cried out as that rising tide spilled over, her eyes closed in ecstacy, her head slid back and she arched into him as he held the quaking storm that Sanam was. She grabbed his head and kissed him hard, as he struggled for control over his own release.

Aahil continued to hold her as her shivers subsided, placing small kisses over face and lips, smiling at her. She smiled dreamily and languorously ran her hands all over him. Her light teasing touch was incredibly arousing to him. Feeling a little impatient, he nudged her legs apart.

He hesitated momentarily, but she was having none of that. She wrapped her arms around him and pressed her lips to his. He slowly positioned himself and pressed in his shaft at her opening. He penetrated her maidenhead slowly, feeling her tense and gasp in pain. He held himself still, until he felt her relax her muscles, before he moved.

The gentle back and forth motion was incredibly erotic. Every thrust was met with by a gasp , Sanam clutched at him desperately, her nails digging on his back. Aahil kissed her hard, and increased the pace of his thrusts, until he felt himself lose control and poured himself convulsively into her. She held on to him tightly as he sagged heavily upon her, weight braced on one arm.

Aahil disengaged himself and lay down next to Sanam. She curled into his arms and rested her head in the crook of his arm, lightly drawing patterns on his chest. Thunder clapped outside as rain began to fall.

"I love you Sanam..." he said solemnly as he turned on his side and touched her lips with his finger. "I'm never going to let you go... You're stuck with me. For life. Can you manage that?"

Sanam smiled at how boyish he looked with his hair ruffled. "You? Easy..."she teased.

"Oh! Easy am I!!" he tickled her playfully and they both laughed and laughed happily, contented.

Sanam sobered, and looked into his eyes and said, "I love you so much Aahil, you will never know just how much..." Aahil kissed her lovingly in reply.

They lay in each other's arms, blissful and sated, as the sound of rain lulled them to sleep, raging thunder heralding troubled times ahead.

To be continued...
