Watching them suffer is just so much fun! I prefer an angst-ridden love lorn Aahil over a saccharine sweet lover boy Aahil any day! 😆 That's why I lose interest in such shows after the leads have fallen in love and confessed. It gets boring after that!

Send me the link if you do end up writing it. 😆

Fingers crossed, that shirt less scene comes before. Hopefully tonight. 😳

P.S. I may stop replying soon as posts could run out.

Sonia! Thats a pretty name! :)
I know man! ANGST baby angst! I want all of that! No lover boy, nope. Nada. It gives you an inexplainable rush. I wonder why they lose their angst after confession man! They should keep that going! 😆
I don't actually know, if I would write. Its brewing but, I guess I need that scene to light up my fuel! 😆
Yes shirtless ARI! Come on! Why he has stopped going shirtless by the way? 😆

Hmmm... I guess so but I don't think I'm the right person for that story. Prags? You do it hun!

Shirtless ARI all the way!! Paired up with those bermudas actually not the pants! 😆

You rant, Myhrah. I want your rant.

And about that story. I am not volunteering! I need proper inspiration! Or else I can't seem tor write!

So... I'm thinking... (Maybe a rubbish prediction, based on the stupid segments we've seen)

Last night... She tells him that she's his wife - therefore he should listen. (I am unsure as to whether Sanam actually cares about him, or whether she's playing dutiful wife here)

Then... he's standing at the railing at home, see Sanam and Rehan holding hands and walking.

Granted, Sanam and Rehan are doing nothing wrong. But, let's remember that Aahil believes they're in love, and he loves and is married to a girl that is in love with his brother.

Look, I am very, very close to my hubby's brother and best friend - in fact... I was friends with them before him, even. But holding hands and walking around? It's something I would just feel odd doing (Still doesn't make it wrong for Sanam and Rehan, I get that)

But anyone could misconstrue that action, given what Aahil believes.

So then he says something about her being a "so-called" wife. I think he was taunting her about last night's pool scene. (Where I hope it shows that he listens to her)

So perhaps now he's like, "Why the act of being my wife, when you obviously want to be elsewhere?"

I am trying to understand him, not justify his actions, because believe me when I say... I am still mad about the insult and forced dance. But, I don't believe it had anything to do with anything Tanveer told him - it is all based on what he believes is happening with Rehan and Sanam.

I am starting to think... does he want her to hate him? Push her away to such a point that he believes will make it easier on his heart?

It could be seen as selfish or self-preservation... I am just not sure which right now.

Clearly, I stand very confused 😆

I can understand where he's coming from. As I said from the beginning, he was wrong, and whether or not it's understandable we'll see. Now, it does come off like it may be understandable. Even if it's not Tanveer, I can see why he's lashing out. It's understandable.

Though the forced dance...is still something I going to wait to see how it comes off.

Don't really have anything more to add except just agree with the majority of you who said that Aahil should be redeemed for his jack-assery. However, would like to say that the creatives of this show can carry out this track in a nuanced manner if they want (less possibility of that though). 😆

Their story is just sooo delicious to watch and because it is just so darn messy and the character of Aahil being so complex (and confused 😆). MrDarcyfan was right in drawing parallels with Othello for Aahil's character. Aahil reminded me of Othello as well with the jealous destruction stemming from all his misunderstandings.

On that note, any guy would feel territorial and jealous if he had seen his wife walking hand in hand with another man. And in this case, Aahil knows that man loves his wife and presumes that his wife loves that man back. So I guess the jealousy is understandable.

I agree with Prags_Sociopath's take about Aahil taunting Sanam because of this reason and him developing a complex because Sanam hasn't returned his love and presumably loves Rehaan. And then he lashes out at her again and forcefully makes her aware of his proximity because he sees Rehaan consoling her. In a way, he stakes his claim on her and tells her that ONLY he has the right to be so close to her, and in the process treats her like a rag-doll. Woah, Aahil man! Take a breather! This guy is is in a world of hurt and he won't let her get away without hurting as well!

Now, if they show a proper redemption for Aahil, this track can be the best track of QH so far! No silent loathing, no gifting sarees, or apologising over coffee! A PROPER redemption. Now, don't expect Gul Khan to show Darcy level redemption, that's way beyond her calibre. However, I do want to see a proper redemption.

And I so want Sanam to give back and stay in her character. Please no abla naari crap and her putting up silently with his jack-assery. Don't want her to forgive him easily too haha :)

Agreed with this. As I said from the beginning, Aahil is wrong. But whether or not it's understandable, we'll see. And then the other segments came out and it seems as though that's what he's lashing out against. I can understand now why he's lashing out at her. This is why I said I may be less angry. Because it does make it understandable within the storyline why he reacted that way. But I am against their taking the forceful dance route. I don't know why these makers can't think of anything else other than showing a man treating a woman like a rag doll. I hope it comes off differently. Taking her into a dance in jealousy and possessively does not have to come off in such a caveman like manner.

As you said in your other post, I hope the manhandling portion is not shown so much, and here I will be glad for the editors and their scissors if the actual scene is not the same as the segments.

ignored and other romantic stuff happen, brushing over his humiliating insults in public.

SJ, in one of the segments, did mention about how Sanam will forgive Aahil because his upbringing was such that he was not taught to respect people. Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything about Aahil apologising to Sanam in any of the segments and that's making me really nervous about the situation :(

No my dear I don't think Rehan got to know that Tanveer is his mother on the day Sanam was buried in the grayeyard. Tanveer said something like," we have discussed this many times before" to Rehan. Also Rehan did not look shocked, he seemed to be very well aware of the fact that Tanveer is his biological mother and not adoptive mother.

I thought that was in regards to him calling her Ammi? She always wanted him to call her Ammi because she adopted him? I know he didn't look surprised but I figured that was because they were just in a rush to get that development out of the way. As it is, there were so many holes and bloopers in the flashbacks and the background (blind Tanveer after Asya attack, but not blind when married to the Nawab, etc).

But hmmm, thanks for the clarification. Interesting. Rehan knew for a long time he was Tanveer's real son? That kind of changes things up. Still I don't think he would be more screwed up than Aahil in the least...but it would add something else to Rehan's characterization for me.

About Sanam forgiving and Aahil apologizing. I hope he gives some sort of words of remorse and regret, not to himself but to HER. I hope. Let's see how it goes. Though yeah, as you said there doesn't seem to be anything indicating such a thing.
