I wasn't talking about my point of view. She is the cook and in a bigger household that is a chef, but she is also not professional in one sense. Aahil called her a muazzim which essentially pulls her down from employee in the chef sense and now she started putting herself down in front of him too. Bari Ammi thinks she is a naukrani which also shows that they are themselves considering her position quite below a chef's. It is about their perception. We know that Aahil doesn't really consider her any of this, so it will be nice for him to implicitly indicate that by calling her aap and slowly slowly developing his real relationship with her, that way she can come to terms with it too.
