No, one shouldn't leave it at home. Even if the makers don't listen, one is right to complain and point out the regressive aspects shown on television. If it's not pointed out, then we who complain have no right to criticize the makers. Whereas if we complain, the makers do not have the excuse of being unaware that what they are showing is regressive.

TM in this case is viewing current situation in light of what's happened previously on this show, as well as on other shows.

But I would disagree with the TM, because that is not exactly how the story has played out so far. Tanveer the outright, manipulate vamp is the one who suggested this. Rehan is shown being shocked at his mother and we never hear his thoughts. In a way I think he is surprised his mother at the lengths his mother can stoop down to.

He may be willing to still marry Sanam after three months if Sanam truly dislikes Aahil and views it as nothing but a contract marriage. Only issue here is that no one has really asked Sanam whether she loves Rehan or not, he kind of assumes she would've said yes. Which while I don't think she had feelings for Rehan, she probably would've said yes earlier. Though after this contract marriage, EVEN IF she divorces Aahil and leaves him without being in love with him (which is not going to be the case) I don't think Sanam would agree to Rehan.

exactly this the same question i was having...now a days these people come here only to say -ve things not positive...may be your point will be true...but FYI this is not real life and here without these twists the story never moves forward...we cannot only expect +ve things from any show but only wish that the re shld be only less -vity...any show cannot show only +vity

as far as now qh is going in ryte manner with less negativity and we are just loving it...and these kinds of -ve posts are also welcome as we come to know that qh is still watched by those who say that it is a crap...by this we come to know their mentality

I believe that you're wasting your otherwise valuable time trying to preach gender equality. Season one of Qubool Hai has made it clear that the creatives don't weigh their show on a scale of political correctness and it's proportionality to drama. Consequently, your opinion and chagrin is also quite fruitless.

In fact, whining about personal politics in regards to a show that serves no purpose but sheer, unadulterated entertainment is quite insufferable as well. Petty, really.

We live in a world brimming with ignorance and insensitivity. Let us all learn to pick our battles already.

I think you'll find "Fictional shows are not otherwise referred to as 'Guide to Ethical Living 101'" to be one of the most deeply satisfying phrases in the entirety of the English language.

I only make topics wen I watch d show. I hv not said Rehan worng n mentioned in d post dat he was disappointed wid his mother. Whether wat Tanveer said happens or not but wat she said clearly sounded trading. 1st Sanam married Ahil in return of money(wateva d cause may be) n now Tanveer can think of making Sanam to marry Ahil cuz she wants money for his son only for whom she did a lot of crimes. Rehan at least cares abt Sanam's dhaba n wants to rebuild it along wid lukn after her family. But Ahil never even apologized for burning her dhaba. Sanam actually got married abruptly out of nowhere. Sanam actually needed time to think who sud she marry.

Tanveer is an outright vamp. SHE is the one who talked about the trading. It is not the full basis of the story nor has anyone agreed to it. It's shown as her ploy.

Also, the reason I edited is because I didn't read you other post where you put being a womanizer as a negative for Aahil. So now I see where you're coming from. So what if he's a womanizer? Being a a man who's only been with one woman, doesn't automatically make a character better than someone who was a player. Look the girls knew who he was. He never made any false promises. If girls go to him with hopes of changing a known player who offers no commitment, that's on them.

The thing is, the makers even if they know what they are showing is wrong are highly unlikely to change it. Plus it's not like a lot of majority of the viewers are complaining or showing their disapproval.
I definitely agree with you, the situation here is different and the TM is misunderstanding it. I'm a self-proclaimed feminist and I've stopped complaining because they show what they show.
The makers are not going to change it because a majority of the viewers doesn't seem to have a problem.

R said he was going to leave.
With Tunveer's words, he has stayed back.
This is tacit agreement...he is waiting to get S after 3 months, falling in with Tunveer's verbalized assurances.

Or maybe he's staying back because he sees how low his mother is stooping. Why haven't we seen him say anything? To me it seemed like he couldn't believe what she was saying. Either he can't believe how low his mother is stooping, or he can't believe Sanam would do this, or both. But him staying back doesn't mean that he is agreeing to Tanveer. it's just that now he has new information which has caused him to rethink and change his actions.

If he is agreeing to what she said, he's now taking part in Tanveer's evil plots implicitly, and that would make him grey too.

He is not wrong for accepting that if Sanam will leave Aahil--with it truly being a contract marriage for both of them--he would want a life with her. But he would be wrong for waiting around for that to happen and expect it as a given that Sanam will be his. Not only that he is even more wrong because he knows the truth of his mother and what is her plan after three months.
