Asked this in another post, but got no response, so here goes a second try...

Based on the promo of the wedding I have some questions:

1. In this kind of wedding is it customary to not read complete names of bride and groom?

2. Do both the bride and groom wear veils - whether of flowers or cloth?

3. Do they usually lift their veils and/or look over the partition screen or is this done as a sort of peek-a-boo quick look?

4. Are the bride and groom allowed to see each other full-face before sitting on either side of the partition?

5. Who has to answer first, i.e., to whom is the question of, "Will You marry ...," posed first? Bride or groom? And is this always the procedure or can the order be changed by the wedding officant?

Thanks!
Jayne

Awesome post, and yes I am totally in love with Sahil. KV and Surbhi rocks.. Amazing actors, Kv was so good today, he speaks through his eyes.. Love him.. and SJ was superb with her emotional scenes, looking forward to their nikah, I am just wondering how he will accept Sanam knowing Rehaan loves her and he believes that they both love each other.. I am looking forward to their nikah.I really hope Gul will not mess the story by marrying Sanam with someone else later, I will hate her, hopefully She has learned her lesson from QH1..

Islamic way of Nikah means that both guy n the girl are introduced by their name follwed by their fathers's name.. Its like kya ap mr abc ibne(means son of) xyz ko miss def binte( daughter of) se nikah itne haq e mahar k iwz qubool hai ... N they ask 3 times n then same goes with the bride... I dont knw how r they going to portray this part of the nikaaah

About rest of ur queries... These things are not at all necessary... These are just customs n traditions based on the societies n cultures ... Maybe its a ritual in India i dont knw.. But here in Pakistan such kinds of marriage dnt take place... A girl n a boy sit seperately for the nikaah... Qaazi goes to each of them selerately... N then fr the wedding function they bring the bride to sit with the groom...

@Jayne- Well, it's not necessary to wear any kind of veil during the nikah. It's more of a customary thing. Religiously its not mandatory. Personally in my family no groom wears sehra. Plus bride and the groom sit in different rooms and qazi separately ask them like the above person said. And their parents name are must. And I have never seen a Nikah where both bride and groom sit in the same room seperated by a pardah. Its just they show in TV shows. We have different rooms for both.

Beautifully summarized, yes irony is here to stay.
I am puzzled by Rehaan. Before proposing he had told everybody. Is he seeking permission to love someone or beating drums for being in love.

Nice post.

It was a good epi. I liked your summary. After Tannu gets to know that Sanam is AsYa's daughte she'll be happy she didn't get Rehaan married to Sanam 😆. Now she'll play games with SaHil.

I liked SJ more than KVB today. But I agree with you. KVB's expressions when Nida went on and on were worth watching 😆. A dress worth 20 lakhs for a wedding which is not going to happen??? 😲. If only Nida knew 😆.

Eagerly waiting for Monday.

Sorry I am not sure about rituals as i am a non muslim.

But in some muslim weddings, which I attended the brida and groom are seated in separate places not in front of each other. Then firstly bride is given meher and then she is asked first and then groom.

Sorry still I am not sure about the rituals

Sahil rocks

Gul wont repeat the mistake again by getting lead married with some others.

She knows how Zoyaan spoiled the essence of show
