Episode 4/17

Embarrassed at being caught in such an awkward situation,she sheepishly leaves hold of his hand and guiltily looks at her father who is seated behind haider...due to the sudden
pull at his hand, haider is awakened from his brief slumber ...from his red puffy
eyes it appeared that he hadn't slept for long...seeing both of them confused,
gaffur sahab kindly puts his hand on haiders shoulder and advises him to take some rest in his room, as he has already gone through a lot for them...humaira is puzzled...haider respectfully nods his head in agreement and turning towards humaira smiles at her asking her to take care...

As haider is about to leave, the doctors says that he too should leave as humaira is better now...all the family members are relieved to hear this and go near humaira to ask her about her condition...while they all are busy talking humaira looks distracted...her attention is caught by the doctor who putting a hand on haiders shoulder appreciates him for what he did...humaira looks confused...just then haider turns towards her and seeing her watching him
with her wide open eyes, he gives her a warm smile on his way out...

Finally as everyone leaves she calls back nuzat...nuzat goes to her bedside and concernedly asks her if she needs anything...humaira anxiously makes her sit and then holding her hand asks her what happened, as she cant recollect anything...why was haider sitting like that next to her...why had the doctor come... why was the doctor and her abbu thanking haider for...seeing her agitated...nuzat puts a hand on her hand and pressing it slightly assures her that she would tell her everything but she needs to calm down and relax

... narrating the incidents from the time she fell unconscious nuzat tells her how when she came to the room with the others they found her holding on to haiders hand. She narrates how they tried to separate their hands but she didn't let go...finally haider suggested that they let it be...when all of them failed at waking her up they had to call in the doctor... the doctor declared that it was on account of immense stress that she had passed out and needed to be injected to bring her to consciousness

... nuzat even told her how even after hearing about her fear of injections he didn't try to remove his hand when she clenched at it harder in pain on being injected...she tells her how he had dozed off to sleep just minutes before she woke up...

While humaira is lost in thoughts...nuzat asks her to forget everything and just rest... Humaira nods her head in agreement and bids her goodnight...humaira seems uneasy and cant bring herself to sleep...she feels bad for misjudging haider ...to think of how she had
avoided and talked roughly with him before...and how he had selflessly come to
her aid now...maybe she was prejudging him...maybe... she ought to thank him...

on the otherside as haider lies down on his bed he looks at his hand and smiles at the thought of humaira...maybe he could prove it to her that life wasn't that bad at all...maybe if she would just give her life another chance to be happy...perhaps he could help her...with a resolve to help her out he decides to undertake "mission humaira hasse ghi" ...

It seems to be missing something...i can feel it..but dont know what...thanks for liking it...and u dont need to thank me everytime...ur comments r enough dear :)

Episode 5/17

Sorry for the delay guys😭...I can't believe it 😲... it's been too long a gap since I Iast wrote...I can't blame anyone for feeling disconnected [ atleast I think so] with the track...I too had to re-read it myself to get reacquainted with it...so to cut the story short...I will carry on with the track [to humor myself], if anyone still wants to stay connected[I doubt that, but I may be wrong]... feel free to give me a pm for updates...😊

...the next morning, the cool breeze coming in from the window woke humaira up from her slumber 🥱. She clumsily sat on her bed, slightly rubbing her eyes, then pushing aside the strands of hair that carelessly fell on her face she slowly rose and carelessly leaned against the open window. The breeze seemed to lash cold waves against her, so she quickly rubbed her bare arms to warm herself, the weather seemed rough, perhaps it could rain anytime, with these thoughts she closed her eyes to take in this feeling and a cute smile 😊broke on her lips. She slowly opened her eyes to find haider standing beneath her window.

Haider had just returned from his morning walk, when a drizzle of rain made him look up and coincidentally he saw humaira looking down at him from the window. He sweetly tried to wave his hand to greet her, but she quickly hid herself behind the curtains. While haider was amazed at her reaction, humaira too didn't know why she had reacted that way, perhaps it was because of the suddenness of this unexpected encounter. Haider smiled 😊, shaking his head in surprise and quickly ran off to protect himself from the rain.

While Nuzat is amazed 😲to see humaira hiding behind the curtains, humaira grows conscious and quickly moves out of the curtains. Nuzat teases her by saying that the whole house was restless because of her condition last night and now she is playing hide and seek in her room as if nothing happened. Humaira tries to put on a serious face and tries to clarify but nuzat quickly hugs her, saying that she is just happy that she is ok. Humaira smiles and hugging her back 🤗says that she is feeling better now and was about to join them at the breakfast table.

Just then they hear noises coming in from the kitchen, humaira quickly drapes herself in a shawl lying nearby and follows nuzat towards the kitchen. In the kitchen they see haider donning the cap of the chef, instructing the servants to leave as he was gonna make a haider special breakfast. humaira and nuzat both stare at haider in disbelief 😲. Seeing humaira out of her bed , standing at the kitchen door, haider courteously offers her a seat, while nuzat insists on being his student. Haider sends nuzat off to get some spices from the store and starts slicing the onions. Humaira after much deliberation goes near him and addressing him thanks him for what he did last night and apologizes for her rough behaviour towards him. Haider is pleasantly surprised and sweetly looks on as she tries avoiding his gaze. He smiles and slightly bending towards her tells her that its ok, till now they have just had uneasiness between them, maybe its time to take a fresh start . putting forward his hand he asks if they can be friends, humaira looks at his outstretched hand, and is about to answer when nuzat suddenly barges in the kitchen with a box full of spices. Haider looks at nuzat in disappointment while humaira smiles at his uneasiness😆...
