The thing is that that you ignore not others do! Personally if you sit and watch the episode the only thing that stands out is her makeup! Despite of lot of drama going on the only thing I could really focus on was her makeup b/c it kept irritating me! If you see her other pics (photoshoots) she looks so pretty!

Agree... as an actress she is brilliant, flawless & I find her stunning (esp in Sn1)... but there is something seriously wrong with her make up & clothes in Sn2. To me the loud make up & hair makes her look older than the rest of the cast. I'm not sure if it's deliberate as they may be planning to gv her a Zoya type look after SaAhil marriage.
Anyway the vamps are doing something right for once- getting the leads married at the first go 😆 ... Hopefully there will be a nice change to her overall outlook post wedding...

Surbhi Jyoti has beautiful well-defined sharp features. Her big eyes, full lips and defined nose makes her face naturally bright, so it doesn't need much enhancing.

What I'm trying to say is that when someone has as defined features as Surbhi, minimal amount of makeup will highlight the face easily. If you put too much, or let's say however much is normal for others, it will be too much on her face. Hence, it will start looking gordy and horrific. I think she does her own makeup on everyday scenes. But on occasions where they have to dress up, someone does the makeup for her, which tends to go overboard and make her look like a mannequin.

I noticed Surbhi's over makeup even in QH1, remember the almost nikkah looks? She looked bad in most of the bridal looks because of too much makeup. Hopefully the makeup artist realizes this fixes it.

I think Surbhi does her own make up.

I totally agree that Surbhi's make up and costumes are horrendous. We all know that she is a good actress but along with acting if she is given decent costumes and make up, it enhances Surbhi's screen presence by leaps and bounds.

Make up and constumes attribute to the character and the scene as they reflect the personality and mood, it can't be totally ignored in the grand scheme of things.

So true besides sanam 's makeup they need to cut her hair, better clothes pants that pass her ankle..

Not mentioning Sanam's makeup but in the close ups if we see Surbhi looks very tired

She working in both seasons Tanveer got long break and Dilshad had chotu scenes but Surbhi I feel she is tired

She does her own make up doesnt she? I think thays why its always gaudy looking whereas tye cast probably goes by the actual make up artist amd looks decent. That being said surbhi is abrilliant actress and yer perfirmance def oytshines her makeup abilities. Although sadly it is hard to concentrate sometimes if makeup or costume look bad. Acts like a distraction almost.
