The leap is quite good.
Karan as Aahil rocks He has such a magnifecent personailty.
Surabhi is able to bring out the character of an innocent but gutsy woman so different from zoya who was a firebrand.
Amrapali as the blind tanveer is as deadly.
I have seen the actress playing Haya in some serial but cant recall.

I Find blind Tanveer a lot more deadly than the previous one eyed Billo Rani! I think playing a character who is more mature has made Amarpali tone down Tanveer a lot. After all, she is now the widow of a Nawaab. So she has to act accordingly?

I think her acting is a LOT better to be honest as older Tanveer! I am enjoying watching her. Her dress sense is killer too!

As for SJ as Sanam, she is very good as usual. You know she is not Zoya! KV as Aahil is superb. All other supporting cast is great too. My personal favourite is Latif!! I also really like Rehan and Asma. Aahil's sisters, and the Kaala, Kalu and their son? Less said the better!!

Rahat and Haya are interesting as well. Both actors look really good together! The only character I feel has changed too much is Dilshaad. She used to be this modern and stylish women with an open minded outlook? But now she acts like someone from a historic novel? I don't know. Something is not clicking there.

I agree to every point you made but could the change in Dilshaad be as she saw her daughter, son and daughter in law being brutally murdered by a psycho? And she had to go through life's struggle all over again.
When Rashid deserted her and the kids, she slogged to bring her children up, now she went through the same to bring up her grand daughters.

Just thinking.
