The realization of Asad's importance is unknowingly establishing its existence in Zoya - That was very endearing. ❤️

That is the crux of this phase of the story - Zoya's conscious mind is occupied by Ayaan (and Tanveer and her wild imagination and what not), but subconsciously/unknowingly Asad is taking a firm place in her heart as someone a lot more than a friend. And, when she will get the final jolt, she will immediately know what has strongly taken hold of her heart. In the BBC's 2009 adaptation, after their confession, their is a very simple but beautiful dialogue, "I examined my heard and I found you there." Zoya needs to reach that point and she is on the way.

Loved the little detail skillfully added to Asad and Zoya's interactions, along with the distinctive emotions. ⭐️

"Zoya was feeling ecstatic. Humeira didn't play and Asad was going to play. Whatever he played, she didn't mind."

Thankfully!, So was I! 😳 😆

Another poignant chapter, in respect of the portrayal of AsYa's emotions. 👏 Also loved the fact that a select few supporting characters add substance to the narrative, Dilshad, Gaffoor, Rashid and maybe Ayaan, I don't know - his sits on the borderline for now - he exasperates me. 😵 [I know I'm a vain AsYa fanatic, especially an AAK one - so my feelings towards Ayaan are natural 😈 🤣]

But...but...Ayaan plays the reverse cupid. We should be thankful to him.😉 And, than k you for appreciating supporting characters who have a role in shaping Asad and Zoya's story.
